We have had this appointment scheduled for a month. Her insurance hasn't changed. The office has had her insurance information since she made the appointment. They could have called us at any point prior to 9:25am today and we could seek care elsewhere. The front desk staff are completely incompetent and unprofessional. This is a practice that needs to be absorbed by a bigger hospital organization and ensure competent patient care. We wasted our time and my girlfriend now has delay of care in tending to her active medical issues. Completely unacceptable. Do not go here.

He genuinely cares about his patients which is not something you can say about plenty of doctors. He sometimes sits with me for 20-30 minutes to give me great advice and ask me questions not many doctors would ask. His office staff is usually very nice and accommodating, just be nice to them since they have a hectic job! sometimes the wait there is a little longer than I'd like, but that's only because I know he's giving each patient the time that he gives to me. I can't see myself going to another primary care doctor ever again unless I move. Thank you Dr Dash for caring so much!

I'm an RN and when I see a patient, I introduce myself and try to make them feel comfortable and welcomed. Maybe smile?? They all look so miserable. Dr. Monsef for some reason appears to be annoyed that I'm there, as if I'm a waste of time or something? Maybe he's used to more chronically ill patients. He looks at me like I'm crazy when I tell him my complaints. I've never felt so uncomfortable at a doctors office before. I'll never go back.

Dr. Fabregas was understanding and treated me holistically. He was just so authentic and understanding. I even saw his wife for social working to help me get through some things (until I lost my job and finances weren't great). Something has changed and the feeling I get is this practice is going to turn into a doc-in-the-box. The last few times I was seen was for a horrible and debilitating chronic cough, which the new PA thought may have been whooping cough. After rounds of steroids and rashes... and now losing bladder control during fits... I was at my wits end. I made an appointment which the staff accommodated the same day (I truly believed they cared) and when I was called in, I had a coughing fit and embarrassingly could not make it to the room. Luckily I had spare pants in my car. In the 5 mins I took to clean up, they'd given my room away, and tucked me into the rooms where they do sono. When a room opened up they asked me to move to it. I'm feeling so awful at this point. Write me a script for steroids, inhaler and I ask for a narcotic cough syrup, to improve my cough and maybe it would alleviate my symptoms. (The new PA who is very nice took care of me). A day later I'm in bed sleeping (finally! And not peeing myself!) the cough syrup is working! My mom who is also a patient comes over to check on me. I tell her to see if we can refill the syrup, I can make it stretch but I can live until this cough subsides. When my mom called it was a fuzzy back and forth but basically they denied it, said they wouldn't refill and then hung up on my mom. After over 15 years of going to this practice... Cara the nurse called me because I had cancelled a physical but they didn't put that in the system, and I said, since I have you on the phone... and explained the above. She said she would talk to Dr, Fabregas. I never heard back, I am embarrassed, upset, and hurt. I love this doctor. I wish him and his practice the best, but inconsolably it is sadly no longer for me.

Very thorough and does his research. He is very busy which shows he is a great Doctor. The office staff has had its issues but they have been great and pretty consistent for a few years. No issues. I have recommended IFMP to my friends and family looking for PCP.

This is not the place for you if you are not prepared to deal with an incompetent staff. But the staff should not be your primary concern, or even a concern, when visiting a doctor's office. Sandy Terc is the best. I have friends that are doctors and warn me that PA's aren't as good as doctors - complete nonsense. I'm an accountant without his CPA and have a job most CPA's would dream to have. Don't get hung up on diplomas or certifications, it's the person. Sandy listens to your issue/s, you're never rushed and she doesn't toss antibiotics or medicine at everything. If I were her I would consider opening my own practice. Seems she has a great following. As far as the nurses, they also always listen and have this magical ability to always find a vein and I never bruise afterwards. The staff has always been sub-par. I'll go over my latest issue and you can judge for yourself. Monday: Had a 8AM appointment with Terc. Appointment was helpful, as usual. I had a blood test taken the previous week at another specialists office, so she naturally wanted to see the results. I was home by about 9:15, I called the specialist and she promised to fax the results over. I confirmed they were faxed over. Never heard back. Tuesday: I called in the morning and explained that I hadn't heard back, the staff stated Terc would be in the office in the afternoon so she would place the blood test on her desk for her to see. Never heard back. Wednesday: Called again in the morning explaining that I still had not heard back and my issue was not getting better. The staff explained Terc was off on Wednesday. Further explained to the staff that this wasn't a typical blood test and I would like someone to look at it - just to see if anything was off the charts. The staff told me she would give the results to another doctor that was there and they would call me back. Never heard back. Thursday: Gave up on calling. But Sandy Terc did get back to me in the afternoon. Her voice-mail stated she still had not received my bloodwork from the other doctor. Like I said, the staff sucks. But if you are looking for someone good to look after your health, or treat an issue you have, you cannot go wrong with Sandy Terc.

I have friends that run from Dr to Dr & seem to enjoy a full calendar of appts! Go figure??? Not this girl. Anyway.... On to Dr. Levitz! She's a one woman show. She's the only dr in her practice . Reminds me of going to our family dr in the 60's & 70's.... Dr. Harry Abe in Wantagh. In fact.... I haven't found a dr that I liked as much... until I found DR Levitz. The office is located in the Chase Bank bldg on the north side of Merrick Rd. Suite 300. The office is definitely NOT fancy at all. Far from it. But.... She is amazing. Soo caring & very thorough . She'll call you after hrs & always seems to be available. She's not a prescription writer so if you're the type looking for pain pills...she's not the Dr for you. She's very "by the book" & always looking out for your entire well being... Physically, mentally etc. She also offers a vitamin IV treatment. I've done it a few times & I did feel healthier afterwards. I've turned a few friends onto Dr Levitz & they go several times a week for the IV treatments. All in all.... I think she's pretty fantastic!!

The doctor never even called or reviewed my results. My a1c was high and noone ever even told me I had to look for myself. The office never told me they didnt take my insurance in full and that he was a "tier 3 doctor" whatever that means. Every time I called the office as sweet as pie to ask for assistance and anything they could do or let them know so they wouldnt screw anyone else over in the future, noone would even help me but say "awe that sucks" or "i dont know this stuff". Even the office manager would be no help. They billed $800 for an office visit, no shots nothing just a tummy rub and pat on the back. Im a student and just got robbed by this healthcare establishment.
