I happened to meet a heavily tattooed and pierced young woman who recommended Buddha Box and specifically Derek the piercer. I went to Buddha Box yesterday. Derek was so kind and gentle, and he thoroughly explained everything I will need to care for my piercing. It turned out that one hole was open, and one needed to be pierced. The piercing didn't hurt! I have chronic pain, so I'm very sensitive. I'm honestly still shocked that it only felt like a little bit of pressure. I messaged Derek on Instagram today to ask a question about aftercare. He replied right away. I'm so glad that I listened to the woman I met. Five stars.

Outside the building I wasn't expecting much but once we went inside, it had nice setup with a few couches you can relax. The place was well kept, organized and clean. The guy that helped my friends was great. Derek was very informative, knowledgeable and can tell he enjoys what he does. He made sure that the room my friends were in were thoroughly clean and explained what to expect when getting the piercings. He was also teaching someone too while talking to my friends. I think he did a great job making sure my friends were good and comfortable throughout. I didnt get anything but looking around if I do consider getting a piercing in the future, I would consider coming here for sure. They also do tattoos too and some images I saw seem cool so maybe something to think about too.

i've never written a review before so this is a bit long…read more got my knee tattooed by William Cooke and i couldn't be happier with how it came out. The guy is super chill and very professional. my request for the tattoo was "something monstery with eyeballs around my knee but not too many legs because bugs with too many legs piss me off" and he just freehanded the stencil with a sharpie like a boss. I have a high pain tolerance typically but knee tattoos are the devil and i needed multiple breaks and even ended up needing to split it into 2 sessions. Will was accommodating completely to this. When i went in for the second session, he looked at it and decided my skin still wasn't healed enough and i had to wait a couple more weeks. I appreciate that he wasn't going to do the second session until he was certain it was safe to do so. other artists might've been tempted to just do it so they can get the money and be done but Will didn't and that's exactly what you need from someone repeatedly putting needles into your skin. The shop itself is also awesome. there's artwork from the artists everywhere which is cool. it's spacious and well lit without feeling uncomfortable and cold like hospitals feel. most importantly, everything was very clean. other than the needles in their packaging, nothing on a tattoo station is going to be sterile. it's impossible because not everything can be put into an autoclave. that's just how it is. so the best you can do is keep everything as sanitized as possible since sanitation is just below sterilization when it comes to describing how many germs and pathogens are killed. i'm a cosmetologist so i've had to learn a lot about proper sanitation protocol. that being said i can't think of a single way that Will could have improved his sanitation. everything was plastic wrapped with clean and gloved hands, gloves were changed every time he came back from a break or touched something. tdlr: this place is awesome and super clean. Will is super chill, this tattoo is probably my favorite one i have now. so go give this place all your money and tell your friends to spend all their money here too.

Forget about all the tattoo parlors you've experienced. Ink10City is THE place to get your tattoos!…read moreAfter years of avoiding ink due to bad experiences at other parlors, I was hesitant to try again. I needed a cover-up for an old tattoo and had a rough idea of what I wanted, so I started researching. That's when I found Ink10City. Their online presence impressed me, so I decided to give them a shot. Walking in, I was nervous, but the vibe was immediately different. It was calm, clean, and beautifully set up. The front desk staff greeted me immediately and within five minutes, I was having a consultation with Tonee, the artist I came for. I explained my idea, but I wasn't sure how it would work as a cover-up. Tonee quickly assessed the situation, and when I admitted I wasn't thrilled with my initial concept, he suggested we stick with a religious theme. In literally five seconds, he started sketching on my arm, saying, "I can see a face right here." I was blown away by his vision and creativity. Right then, I knew I'd picked the right place and the right artist. Tonee's talent is unreal. He is the kind of talent that inspired the creation of the word "Artist." His attention to detail and problem-solving skills are next-level. He worked within my budget, gave me a clear price, and booked me for the next day (though I suspect I just got lucky with timing). When I arrived for my session, Tonee was ready and showed me his drawing. My jaw dropped when I saw it, it was perfect. He even had a backup design ready, but he nailed it on the first try. The session took about 2 hours and 10 minutes for a sizable, detailed piece. The speed, precision, and professionalism were beyond impressive, and the final price matched exactly what we discussed. No surprises. The result? A tattoo that left me nearly speechless. It's absolutely stunning, and I'm already planning my full sleeve with Tonee. While I haven't worked with the other artists (I think there are four others), the talent in this place is undeniable, and I'd trust any of them. I had such an incredible experience unlike any I've ever had. I even bought a hat from their merch section to support them. Ink10City is my go-to from now on, and I can't recommend Tonee and this shop enough. If you're looking for ink, this is the place to go!
