I had them clean my air ducts and they broke a large vent cover in my main hallway back at the end of October 2022. They claimed they special ordered a new one on Nov 1. They said it should be in soon. I have been told that lie for the last 3+ months. I have tons of texts telling me this. They have finally stopped returning calls and texts. Service tech arrived 45 minutes late, didn't cover anything, blew the mess from the ducts on all our furniture, beds, clothes in closets, kids toys, etc..when asked said don't worry about covering anything, it won't make much mess. Left tools and hose spread out in my kitchen long after it was needed, keeping us from using our whole kitchen/ living room. Said he won't be cleaning/coating main branch in attic. Took close to 5 hours for an appointment we were told would be 2. One guy alone. read more

Hi , This is a unique review and complain. I used absolute environmental a while back and their service s was excellent. I had paid through Zelle. This October by accident I transferred $600 to Lindsay. I have been following up for 6 weeks and asking politely that my money be returned and I have been getnrunaround. On 11/2/22 I had our ducts cleaned and sealed by Absolute A/C Air Dust Cleaners. After the serviceman left I discovered the following issues: The entire condo was covered with a gritty film. The kitchen ceiling duct was mutilated. My wife and I worked for two days to remove the gritty film from all the surfaces in our condo. We are both seniors and this was very strenuous work since the gritty film was very hard to remove. Your serviceman made no attempt to warn us of this possibility. He also did not make any effort to prepare our condo by covering surfaces and furniture with drop cloths. I had order a new ceiling vent due the damage done to our existing one. I sent you an email and also a message via your website. Neither of which have I received a response. I would caution anyone from hiring this company to do any work on AC vents based on our experience and lack of response to our messages. read more

My expectations were not met with what was promised for the duct cleaning service, but the worst is we are in an upscale condo in Jupiter and after I paid and the technician left I was informed by security he was caught on video URINATING in our parking garage. read more

They installed and serviced my water filtration system few years ago. Last year they concluded a service, somehow "rewired" my system as they said the installer did something wrong. After that filter made loud noises for a month. I called them and was promised a tech would be in touch. Two months later I called again - and no responses. Three months later I called and nobody answered - so I left a message. No return call. Two months later I called and no answer - so I sent them an e-mail - and their e-mail response was that a technician would promptly contact me. No one called. Yesterday I called again, and no one answered the phone. It is unconscionable they are still in business. Would provide a ZERO rating if it were possible. read more

I called Absolute Environmental and spoke to a lady who was very professional and courteous. However, I was told the duck cleaning would be $199 for 10 vents. Additional vents ran an $20 extra. This was all she shared with with. I said that sounds good so we booked the appointment. When the techs arrived they quoted me what they felt I "really' needed. Came out to over $1,000. Sticker shock for sure. But the owner explained and accepted responsibility for the miscommunication and we worked out a deal. I will say the techs, Mike and Jose were very good and wanted to insure my satisfaction. read more

I saw the ad for this company on Groupon , in which the purchase was for up to 10 vents and a dryer vent. I called the company directly and inquired if the Groupon was for my zip code . The sales representative stated it wasn't but she would honor the price and service as stated. The technician arrived on time and and was very nice and did a great job. He had first stated the the fee would be $205 when the Groupon was for $179.00 in which the company had to be called and reminded of my prior conversation with the sales representative. When I inquired about the dryer vent the company was again called and they wanted to charge $120 more for that service, I again had to reminded of the Groupon and the agreement to honor the price as presented in the Groupon offer. I was informed that the dryer vent was only included if it was located on the side of a house and not on the roof. I highly believe this company misrepresented themselves and although the technician was awesome, helpful and did a great job. The company itself is obviously dubious in their business practices when it comes to agreed services and payment. This company also charges an extra 3- 4 % for credit card charges, which I was aware of the 3% but they did attempt to charge 4%. Honestly I felt I had to haggle for an agreed set price which is not way I prefer to do business. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! HORRIBLE! UNPROFESSIONAL! POOR Scheduling! Understaffed! Poorly trained technicians! They will break your A/c unit with no remorse! This company absolutely sucks and are a waste of time and money. I originally went to them to clean my coils and ducts. Due to poor scheduling the guy was in a rush. A month later I tried to change my filter and I couldn't. (I did it before they came in why am I unable to now?) I called and made a request for them to fix it. Within a month I have had 3 cancelled appointments and I always had to do the follow ups and confirmations. I missed 3 days of work for them to not show up! The receptionist was rude, unconcerned, and this seemed to be a routine issue for them. I had them cancell follow ups due to an "all day flat tire" or no staff members in my area despite them Being scheduled to in the area". I had an obviously new graduate technician come in and seriously shoved the filter in after spilling water on the new air filter.i told him to stop and he continued. After, I couldn't get the filter out. I Am in the process of hiring another company since I am not getting anywhere. The new company said the coils were positioned wrong and two low. On top of that a lot of the tubing they re-arranged for a quick fix is causing more problems. They wouldn't give my money back either! They completely blocked/avoided my calls! I wish I read these reviews before I used them. They sounded so professional and polished on the phone I would have been fooled anyway. If I could give 0 stars I would. I expected to hire a professional to clean my air ducts - what I got was a kid who did not even have the proper tools to do his job correctly. He didn't have a spray bottle, ran out of chemicals, didn't have a step ladder to take the AC vents down - and didn't have before and after photos as I requested. I have no idea what he supposedly cleaned but there has been no change in the moldy smell I've been fighting in my home since I purchased it a few months ago. I will be having my ac vents cleaned and spray sealed now, but not by this company. I called them and asked to discuss this with them first but have not received a call back - so I'm posting this to warn you. Good luck, and if you find an honest company let me know. read more

If I could give a zero star rating I would. This company is a complete fraud. DO NOT give them your business or allow them into your home. We have been trying to get our vents that we ordered for the past 2 months. No response when you call their phone number. And today the worker shows up unannounced to install the vents and they are all the wrong size. When I asked him to call his boss he said she says she is too busy to talk right now and when I look away he gets in his car and zooms off despite me yelling and asking where he is going. They are a fraudulent business. I had already payed them for my order and now will have to stop payments via my credit cards for the service we should've received months ago. This is the strangest experience I have ever had. What type of worker runs away from your home. Now I have to look through my security cameras to make sure nothing was taken from me- what other reason would he make a run for it? An individual or company looking to have to have the job done right would be crazy to hire Absolute Environmental..DONT WASTE your hard earned money on this Mickey Mouse company. I could have done a better job myself as they did with 2 kids and plastic spray bottle for 15? minutes worth of what they called work. Had to hire a real company to do the job right after they left. The owner offered a refund after hearing of poor job her 2 "children" did including the bickering and clowning around that I have a phone video of. I have yet to see any refund..then I find out Lindsay the owner? wants to charge $180. just for travel time SERIOUSLY? She couldn't even schedule the job properly with the excuse got "her days mixed up" We will wind up in court because these people need to be put out of business to protect the public from being scammed. If you don't believe this review check their rating with the Better Business Bureau = they have a POOR rating. They don't even deserve 1 star on yelp they deserve NONE but that was not an option. Myself and fellow neighbors who witnessed the two kids Lindsay sent to do the job are looking to take them out of "Thumbtack" where there are good honest companies who do the same required work properly. The work was good, I think. I've never had it done so have nothing to compare it to. They cleaned my ducts and spray coated them. They charged a fair price. Two guys came to do the job. They were slightly unprofessional. They were kind though I will give them that. The trainee kept voice messaging while working. He kept saying ew when he saw inside each vent. I know it was gross, that's why I hired them, so be professional about it. I have laminate flooring and the experienced guy used a sheet to cover the floor and then sprayed water directly on it to test the sprayer. It only ruined a small part of the floor but they were just put in so it sucked. I asked if he always does that and he claimed he had never seen a laminate floor before. I guess that was his way of saying he didn't know they can't be soaked. He didn't say sorry. He was considerate enough to help me dry it and happily moved the wet sheet outside when he saw the problem. Then he was looking at the papers on my counter and asked, "what's this insurance thing?" Are you kidding me? I said excuse me?! And he said it again not getting the point that he was out of line looking at it and especially asking about it. (It was just a dentist receipt) He said he thought it was his paper, but it seemed unlikely. He also said he would add a freshener to the vents before he left and didn't. I didn't request it because I wanted them to get out because they were playing their music way too loud. I never mind the music when workers come but there is a limit to the volume. I know they were using a vacuum so headphones should have been used if they needed to hear it more clearly. To pay I wanted to use my credit card. I had to call the office to give the number which is fine but the woman wasn't in and so he had to call her cell. I asked if there was only one employee in the office and he said yes. She said she would be back in 10 minutes so I wrote a check. I had already expressed I didn't want to use my checking account but it wasn't worth it to keep them around any longer. However they were quick and fairly clean. He knew I wanted before and after photos so he even reminded me to take the after photo when the ladder was up which was nice. I'm sure both of these guys can develop a more professional manner. So one star is removed bc there were annoyances. I know he didn't mean to ruin the laminate and it's not the end of the world. Terrible service and not trustworthy. Boyden installed an airconditioner at my home. When the a/c failed, Boyden was too busy to send someone to my home to look at the unit. After another company diagnosed the problem, Boyden refused to honor its written warranty on the work. Definitely would not use again. read more

Honest and upfront with their pricing. Very knowledgable friendly technicians. My duct work was falling apart and they came to my home used an anti microbial spray seal to seal the ducts in like new and stop any mold growth. A++ read more
