My daughters nail tech was very nice, spoke with my daughter and did a great designs. I got her the mani/pedi with 2 different nail designs on hands and feet for $35. I got the #3 and my naill tech went above and beyond. The scrub was great. The wax was great. After working six 12 hour shifts in a row.... I needed this. Con: $5 extra for coffin shape nails...which is weird because I've never been charged extra for that. The girl who did my nails also didn't do anything to my cuticles which was surprising. I'm giving two stars because they were all very nice. I do NOT recommend this place for acrylic or dip nails. The nail tech could not apply a nail tip and dip my nails properly. (2.5hrs) later and quite a few redos he finished my nails. Two bleeding from the drill, most of them bumpy and dip all around my skin and the nail tech telling me it's the dip powder. HAHA. Went back two days later-- 4 nails lifted and they looked like press ons given all the dip that covered my cuticle/sides and they were going to charge me a full set. This was the worst job i have received from these ppl. I went in and she was doing my nails so lazy. Barley even cutting my cuticles, my nails were being filed horribly and lazy. I kept telling her if she was gonna file the other hand because she would forget. The gel polish I chose was almost out and she kept insisting on using it. The color looked so choppy. The first night I had them, they chipped. This is DAY 5 and it looks like they're gonna all peel off.. Today was my first time here and I was really pleased! An older lady did my pedicure. The water was the perfect temperature and the polish job is great. Another lady did my SNS dip manicure and she did exactly what I wanted!! My only complaint is I wish they were shorter but I like my nails reallllly short. Sam did my nails and he was amazing! I've noticed that the nail techs here (compared to FL and HI) like to really drilllllll the nail and cut the heck out of the cuticles so I am used to it now, I think. I got a full set and gel polish-- in " Bubble Bath;" it's so pretty and I've gotten compliments all day long. People even think these are my natural nails! P.s. I came in expecting more. This place for good reviews. The pedicure itself was okay. But the person doing it was more interested in the talent show on the tv. It was very hot in there too. The lady that greeted me, criticized my previous manicure. She was convinced my nails were fake and I was lying to her. Once I sat down she decided not to do them and had someone else come over to do it. They lost my nail colour so I had to go with a totally different one. We will see how long this lasts but looking at now, I'm guessing next week I'll need a new one. They usually last three weeks for me. Over all the look is not bad but for the price it should be better. And the phone calls on private phones was crazy. read more

Update: I've been going to this Solon for over a year now. I just went to get my nails done waited since they were a little bit busy for them to quote me $55 for a simple ombré . After asking for a regular color that I've had before for $35 the owner started to argue w me and be rude over his price and how I've never had it done and he remembers what all the customers have gotten. Let me mentioned he's done my nails once! I will take my service else where I come to relax and make my self fell pretty about my nails not to be over charged and have someone be rude in return. Totally not acceptable and I've always tipped over the suggested amount to each and everytime I've gone! I always use to get my nails done at Absolute Bella Nails and Spa but now it's seems like every time I go they never really have anybody in their except two techs working. So I tried to book an appointment hoping maybe that will help get me in the schedule to get my nails done. I went to the appointment and they tell me that they moved the time because I called in and moved it and I never did. I'm only giving two stars since it's been a few months since I've been here..maybe things changed. But the first time I been here there was a gentleman who sat on the left front seat when you first enter. There's the table the owner sits at that faces the pedicure chairs...but behind her there were two seats one on the left for a guy and the right had some lady I never saw. That guy was amazing. He was great at what he does. Nails perfect. I'm highly critical when it comes to nail shape. How flat they make my nail. how smooth the acrylic is laid in top. And most important to me is the shape that I'm requesting has to be correct such as a slender ballet slipper/coffin, or a short stiletto. He had my nails looking fleeky without me having to worry. But then he left. To Seattle or someplace. I just can't with the place now. I've tried it. But i was just so disappointed. A newer gentleman was doing my nails, granted it was late and I was the last client they had. I was already concerned when I asked for ballet slipper and his base was still a slightly shaved down square. I guess he was too slow as I was passed off to who I believe was the owner. And I got to thinking oh thank goodness!! I don't have to worry. Wrong. She continued. But I had to coach her in how to shape my nails. Telling her to file off more or where to file. She didn't do much different than the gentleman in shaping. I'm not one to coach or tell my nail technician if I see something minor I dislike, maybe they angled the tip of my nail the wrong way a bit. Maybe they're painting skills suck. I've been cut before and I brushed it off. Or maybe my cuticles look whack. I keep my mouth shut and deal. But in this case, I couldn't leave with how she left my nails without having to go elsewhere to get them fixed. So I grabbed some balls and started to coach her instead. I just can't go back knowing that I had to coach the owner as she was teaching the guy who was previously doing my nails.. Aside from their skill, they're nice and welcoming. Soft spoken. She spent about 45 minutes (which I really didn't care cause I love being at salons) on my feet and they look and feel so nice! I also tried SNS nails for the first time and loved it. So I've been to 2 other locations in Killeen both more than once to give them a fair trial and was not satisfied with either. One was inexpensive and the pedicure was great but the polish job was not done well either time. The second place was friendly and I was a little bummed there were no massage chairs but ultimately for the price I was paying I didn't want to feel rushed like I did. So I sent my sister here while she was visiting and she only had good things to say. I had to see for myself. I've been here 3 separate times now and each time they've taken their time, let me know cheaper options if they only thought I needed a polish change and have always made me feel welcome. They give phenomenal pedicures and their polish is always perfect. They offer a variety of drinks and are even ok with kids for those that have little ones during the day. Came to this place because it seemed to have the best reviews.. the people there were extremely nice and accommodating..the shop is kinda small but very clean and well put together! They give 10% discount to military and I came in during the day when not much was going on so I was able to get in right away and was asked if I wanted a glass of wine or margarita... why YESSSS I WANT WINE!!!!
