Although, I too, had trouble with the estimator getting back to me (I think he totally forgot-not good), Absolute has done work for us before and as always, they did a fantastic job. This time we had gutters, facia and sofits installed. Sean and John were my installers and they were GREAT!!!!! Very professional, cared about my property and very friendly. Install went seamlessly (like my gutters!), quickly and the job looks beautiful! I got gutter guards, as well - which i HIGHLY recommend. Absolute sealed my year old pavers and ruined them! We couldn't walk on them for two weeks because they were so sticky! Two years later the residue is still there and nothing will remove it. They would not follow up to resolve the problem. Other work done in the community has been shoddy and no one recommends Absolute. read more

I got a quote from Absolute Aluminum for a small gutter job. Three times the installation person stood me up. First time he called in sick and they called to apologize two hours after the appt. time to let me know, second time it rained for a few hours, but at the time of my appointment the sun was out, but he had already gone home for the day, and third time he told the scheduler he stopped by and no one was home.... I happened to be watching for him and watched him drive by. When I called to see where he was, they apologized by said I would have to reschedule. They just lost a customer. read more

I will never refer this company to a relative, friend or any stranger. This company installed my pool cage 2 years ago; in addition that I had issues with the doors getting stuck, the screws are rusting. I have a salt water pool, I know it needs a little more attention with the cage, but for having such reputation in the county, I expected THE BEST and professionalism from Absolute Aluminum. Our pool contractor hired them, but it doesn't mean they can just walk away with the money and two years later say the screws problem is not under warranty. For business Good ethics do a good job from the beginning, don't expect people to walk back to you and pay more for something you could have done right the day the pool cage was installed. read more

We hired Absolute Aluminum to replace our pool cage and super gutter. The cage and gutter are fine. However, many roof tiles were crushed or cracked in the process. It took us a long time to get someone to come and look. The company denies any liability, even though their workers are the only ones who have been on our roof and the damage occurred where they were standing and walking. The company owner emailed me that he would look into it, but he has never gotten back to me. We paid the higher price that Absolute Aluminum charged because we thought we were getting good service. This company is a comedy of errors that just isn't funny. I mean this sincerely: I have NEVER worked with a worse company. NEVER. They are just... rude. Based on the recommendation of my building manager, I asked them to do an estimate on replacing lanai sliding doors and screens in the spring of 2017. A gentleman named Stephan Gaston came out and looked the job over. I never heard back from him with an estimate. I called the company, and was given the run around. I moved on. But because my building said they were good, I gave them another shot on screens blown out by the hurricane in 2018. Again, Stephan Gaston came out on January 2, 2018, to look at this job. And yet again, I never heard back from Absolute with an estimate. I called the company and was again given a run around- they couldn't find the paperwork, had no idea who came out, etc. They asked, and I very clearly gave them a verbal description of the rescreening, including sizes and other relevant information, and booked a date for the install. They returned on January 26 to do the install- or so I thought. The workman showed up, told me that I had not reported the job correctly (after they had viewed the job twice), made a frustrated call to his office, and left. Today is February 16, 2018, and I still haven't even had a phone call from them. This has been a slap in the face- obviously, they do not think my time has any value whatsoever. Do not use this company if you'd actually like to have some work done. I have made my building aware of this situation so hopefully they will not be recommending Absolute Aluminum any longer. read more

I just had this firm install an Arcadia pergola in my back yard in Sunrise, FL. I could not be happier with the work. James and Chris, the installers, were meticulous on the job. They replaced a paver broken when they dug the support holes and even replaced the sod dug up for the holes. Although the job had to be put off until they had more than one job in my area (across the state from them), they were on time and worked thru some heavy afternoon storms to get this done. It's very hard to find installers in South Florida that care this much about their finished product. I would recommend them and use them again. read more

Came down off the ladder showed me pictures of what was going on and told me what he was going to do to fix it. Stay far away! We chose absolute aluminum for our outdoor kitchen expansion because of their reputation for quality work and customer service despite being significantly more expensive than their competitors. This was the biggest mistake we could have made. Absolute aluminum fell short in every aspect of the project. The customer service was horrendous, communication nearly non-existent, quality of work was questionable at best, the project took nearly double the proposed time, and discussions that were had during the sale of the project were conveniently forgotten and not followed through on. The most horrible experience. Additionally, they took so long to complete the project that their finance company wouldn't allow the remaining balance to be applied to the account because it was no longer within the allowed "purchase period". instead of owning up to the mistake, they stated "for some reason they won't allow us to post to the account so I can come by to pick up a check for the balance." Absolutely unacceptable. Would never recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

This company really has their stuff together. First of all they are very organized. They ALWAYS keep you updated as to when they will arrive and what will be done. The communication is exceptional. The work was of great quality and customer service after the project could not be beat. I would highly recommend these guys. No wonder they have such great reviews. Should be re-named Absolute Nightmare! Six week job took over six months. Didn't file correct permits with city, used a sub-contractor that installed a gas fire incorrectly that could have exploded causing severe injury. Made promises they had no intention of keeping. As others mentioned, communication with these people can be trying. I called the office (gasp!) and received very little help. We signed a contract on November 2, 2018 and was told it would be a couple months before installation could occur. Mid-January arrives and we get put on hold for another THREE weeks due to their truck being down! Twice they stated their truck was down so they had to delay our install. (I guess they only have one truck) They finally did arrive (at 4:00 pm) to begin the job (seems too late in the day for that to me) and they did remove the old guttering after which we found massive rotten wood (they don't do wood replacement so, another delay). After a month we had not heard from them so I called to see about canceling the contract and even to see if they had us scheduled for an install of gutters. The salesman had left the company so I spoke with the sales manager who, seemed to have no clue we were a customer or if there was an installation planned (there wasn't)! So, we paid a $150.00 deposit to be repeatedly delayed and have about 50' of guttering removed and be totally forgotten about as a customer! I cannot recommend this company as it seems to be in disarray and not at all reliable. IMO, avoid them. read more

Poor communication. refuse to answer my calls. when I get david moser he tells me he has answered my question in an e-mail to my wife who was in N.Y. for a month. I have asked him repeatedly to also call me. No response. They have now changed our date for the new cage 3 or 4 times. They claim it is due to the hurricane. I do believe that hurricane was at least 6 to 8 weeks ago. Please I may be over 60years old, but I am pretty sure that does not make me an idiot. Now all our exterior furniture is stacked up in my house. It has been there for two weeks now. Three of my kids are coming from N.Y. for thanksgiving, and two neighbors are coming also. Maybe david will have us all over to his house for Thanksgiving. David has lied to me, verified by my sales rep, who was very good. But wost of all david was downright disrespectful and rude to my wife who is suffering from Parkinson. Very sorry I signed with these people. Absolute has good salesmen and their initial work is great. However, if you later have any issues, small or large, you are in for a rough time. Scheduling is difficult and you will wait to have it resolved. . Since an installation of acrylic sliders about three years ago(among other jobs that went well) I have dealt with three service managers. Also, while installers were professional and skilled, not necessarily true of service men. A small issue of a slider constantly going off track took three visits (and the original installer) to fix. Each visit involved considerable wait time and was finally fixed in three minutes. A larger issue concerned a defect with the acrylic. It has been at least three months, the last service manager has left and I am starting from scratch. They are polite and are trying to be helpful but I would never never recommend them again. There are other companies that charge much less though not as well advertised and Absolute does not have a commitment to service. Once a sale is made, your salesman will not help read more
