I like to think I'm a person who holds morals and ethics close to their heart. But even so much as…read more the thought of Dr. Paisner puts that to the test. Nothing fills me with more rage than the thought of that man. If I could give one piece of advice to any parent who loves their children: DON'T GO HERE. It's been almost four years since Dr. Paisner caused me to be hospitalized and I'm still dealing with the consequences. When I was 15 going on 16 I had a boatload of GI symptoms. Dr. Paisner was never helpful with them and gave me dismissive advice. My family finally made the decision to see a GI but the first appointment was two weeks away.  We made an immediate appointment with Paisner so we could get a parasite test as soon as possible before seeing the GI. Pasiner didn't bother giving one to us. He dismissed my symptoms, as always, and told me to stop eating dairy for two weeks. I did. And my symptoms didn't go away. When I finally saw the GI the first thing she gave me was a parasite test and told us we had to wait for blood tests till it was back. While waiting for the test to come back, my symptoms grew worse. The blood work indicated I had crohn's so I got scheduled for a scope so the insurance company could approve medication. But I didn't even make it to the scope. Three days before I could barely walk because of the inflammation. I got sent to the hospital and it turned out there was a massive fistula growing from my colon to my thigh area. This meant that I had one of the more rare and painful cases of crohns that Paisner so gladly dismissed. To this day I sometimes still suffer from symptoms and think about how my crohn's could've been reigned in sooner. The days I spent in between the blood work and my medication were the worst of my life. If I could turn back the clock and choose a different pediatrician, I would in a heartbeat. There's still hope left for you and your kids. Aside from his sexist moral failings, he was always a bit of an invasive creep. He once held us up for a visit because "I was too quiet." Wow I wonder why a teenage girl would be quiet around her weird pediatrician who doesn't believe her? I've never written a Yelp review before but there is not a single person on this planet I despise more than Dr. Paisner. If hell is real I hope there's a special place carved for Paisner in it.

Dr. Hung and Dr. Paisner have been responsive, open and complete when answering our questions or concerns. As first time parents, we often jump the gun after hours if our daughter is sick or has a fever and not wait for things to work themselves out. The guidance we have received has always been effective, and you get the sense that they know my daughter. My daughter, now that she watches Doc McStuffins religiously, loves to come here too! The receptionists have addressed our questions and scheduled appointments in a professional manner.

I wish I could give negative stars cause I would. I took my son here this morning once again. We…read morehad been there maybe two or three times before that and he was misdiagnosed the times before that and I stupidly brought him back and guess what he was misdiagnosed again. The doctor that checked my son out, said he had scabies. She barely looked at his hand one minute she said that we all need to get treated and then the next minute she was like no you're fine. I was like what the heck how can one minute you say that we need to get treated in the next minute you take it back. I ended up taking him to his regular pediatrician and she acted, looked at him, looked in his mouth and he had hand foot and mouth disease. This is like the third time that they misdiagnosed this and I was supposed to go away tomorrow thank God I went to my regular pediatrician because I could've spread that like wild fire. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE AGAIN! Where do these dr's even get there certification from?! Is that hard to diagnose kids?!

Unfortunately, our recent visit with Dr. Fishkind was an awful experience and, without question, the worst interaction I have ever had with a doctor. He was completely dismissive of our concerns and implied that we were overreacting. His behavior toward both my preteen daughter and me was extremely rude and lacking any empathy. Parents do not bring their children to urgent care lightly. We were there because our child was in pain and needed prompt medical attention, yet Dr. Fishkind made us feel as though we were wasting his time. The experience was humiliating and deeply upsetting. After reading other reviews, it is clear there is a consistent pattern of similar behavior from this doctor--dismissiveness and misdiagnosis. It is disappointing and surprising that PM Pediatrics appears to have taken no action to address this issue. PM Pediatrics used to be a reliable and excellent option when our pediatrician was unavailable. After this experience, we will not be returning.
