I attempted to cancel my Orkin service multiple times via phone and email starting on November 23, 2025. No responses. No callbacks. No acknowledgement. Despite this, I woke up to a pending charge on my card even after clearly instructing them to stop all services and billing immediately. The actual pest control service has been terrible. Spraying was minimal, the roach issue never improved, and during the last visit the technician admitted he didn't even have mouse traps because he "ran out." That means the service was incomplete and ineffective. Ignored cancellation requests + continued billing + poor service = completely unacceptable. I have retained all written communication and call records and will continue escalating this through my financial institution, BBB, and consumer protection authorities until this is formally resolved and refunded. This experience has been exhausting and unacceptable. Proceed with caution.

Heads up -- this is a detailed and honest review…read more I reached out to Atticare after PSE&G completed a home energy assessment on my hundred‑plus‑year‑old home. The assessment wasn't bad, but they did recommend re‑insulating my attic due to the age of the existing insulation. When I contacted Atticare for an estimate, I learned they partner directly with PSE&G on home energy‑efficiency projects, which immediately made the process smoother. Stephen (Inspection & Sales) - Stephen arrived exactly at the scheduled time and was friendly from the moment he walked in. He inspected my attic, measured the square footage, and walked me through all available insulation options. No upselling...just available options. Based on our conversation about my high winter heating bills, he also suggested that my outer walls likely needed insulation. Before giving me any pricing, he made sure I understood that Atticare would secure the best possible PSE&G rebate. They ultimately obtained a sizable rebate (free money!) and a 0% loan for 72 months billed as part of my monthly utilities bill, which allowed me to insulate all three floors of outer walls in addition to the attic. Nick & Crew (Attic Insulation) - Nick and his team also arrived right on time. He explained the scope of work clearly and determined the most efficient way to complete it. His crew worked quickly and had the entire attic insulated in under a day. Victor & Crew (Outer Wall Insulation) - Like Stephen and Nick, Victor and his team were punctual and professional. Because my home's exterior is stucco, he explained the indoor insulation process in detail. His team moved furniture away from the outer walls, covered everything with plastic sheeting, and got to work. I will note that dust mitigation could be improved for walls and furnishings -- not a dealbreaker, but tightening that up would elevate the experience even further. The outer wall insulation work took a bit longer than expected due to the number of holes that needed to be drilled, patched, and painted, but the team handled it diligently. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the services provided and am genuinely looking forward to seeing a decrease in my heating and cooling bills. Not only would I recommend Atticare -- I already have.

It was a complete mess, had signs of rodents, and something was leaking through to our bedroom ceiling below Bob was an absolute delight. In a couple days, he came and took a look, assured me it could be cleaned out, sealed to prevent rodents and energy loss, and even though they don't typically do wall work, could put a temporary seal in place A couples day later, the team was here. In under 3 hours, the space looked completely restored. I could even use it for additional storage space now if I wanted too. So in case it wasn't clear, I would absolutely recommend Atticare NJ and would use them again. The professionalism, timeliness, and attention detail are just a few of the reasons

Dive bombing in my backyard while fighting each other to death. And eating holes into the side of my house. Three of these mf's even had the nerve to fly into my house and buzz around in my bedroom. Enough was enough at that point. I called Linda and she very kindly set me up for an appointment within 48 hours. Alex came out, assessed the situation, and went to WORK. I told him that I'm not one of these animal/pest lovers. That I wanted these things to suffer for the hell they've brought upon me and my family's inability to enjoy a BBQ without ducking and dodging their constant advances. Alex said say no more. He told me all about the spray that would keep these bumblebee wannabes from continuing to use the wood of my house as their own personal hive. A spray that would directly affect their central nervous system and at worst, repel them to someone else's house, and at best, kill them dead. He sprayed all over the roof and side of my house. Such a beautiful sight to see. Even more beautiful is when my son ran up to me saying "dad, look, dead bees!" They weren't dead yet, but close enough, and probably pondering to themselves, "was this house worth it?" No, it wasn't. If you have any carpenter bee issues, call All American Pest Control. They're super professional. Super knowledgeable. And super effective.
