This review is for a kitchen remodel we had done by About Kitchens and Baths, LLC, Annapolis Maryland. The project was scheduled for 4 weeks which was to start on Aug 16, 2021. While it started on time, the project took much longer than originally planned.  The project which should have been completed on or about Sep 10, 2021, was actually not completed until Oct 12, 2021, which basically doubled the time scheduled for the project. Much of the reason for this delay is that during the last few weeks many of the workers kept getting pulled off the job and we would often have partial crews or no crews working. I felt as though there was total disregard and disrespect for our house, property, appliances, and spaces. We spent countless hours cleaning the mess left behind by the workers and each time an issue was brought up to the Management or About Kitchen employees we were given the quick response, "we will address it", but things always seemed to get worse.  (See notes and pics below.) The notes and pics below will address some of the issues and show the disrespect and disregard for our home and property while About Kitchens and Bath employees were working in our home. -          Employees were caught washing out used dirty paintbrushes inside our house bathroom sink. When the onsite boss was confronted with the issue, he simply stated, "that is normal, we do it all the time". -          Two TV cables and another cable was cut by workers which resulted in us having to purchase new ones at a cost of over $200.00. -          The garage, which was being used as a make-shift kitchen area during the kitchen remodel was filled with drywall dust due to the workers leaving the door open and blowing drywall dust into the garage instead of taking precautions and cleaning is as they worked.  (see garage pics 1.1 & 1.2). -          The workers did not cover the air vents during the kitchen remodel which cause excessive drywall dust to go into the central AC unit. Thus, causing excessive ice buildup within the unit and could have destroyed the entire central ac unit had I not noticed and addressed the problem. (see pics 2.1 & 2.2). -          Outside window sills and screen were caked with drywall dust. (see pics 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 ). -          Trim on washing machine missing when washer and dryer re-installed. (see before and after washer pic 4.1 & 4.2). -          Drywall dust from the kitchen area on the 1st floor appears to have been swept into a hole in the floor which went into the basement and damaged the hot water heater.  We were out of hot water for several days before BGE could get parts and repair for which we had to pay the repair bill. (see Water heater pics 5.1, 5.2, & 5.3). -          Multiple dirty areas in the yard were left where workers cleaned tools and left debris.  (see Ground pic 6.1 & 6.2). - A lack of attention to detail seems to be the norm as shown in pic 7.1 shows the chandelier not reinstalled properly and the "way off" plumb and level of the new light switch.  (see pic 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4). In the end, the kitchen looks nice, but it was HELL getting here. I can not recommend this company for kitchen renovations based on how our project went, how I feel we were disrespected, and the way our home and property was treated with zero actions by management each time we made them aware of problems and issues. Happy camper again! SalesAbsolutely the worst experience after expecting the best. The customer service was a huge disappointment after having high hopes. I have never dreamed that this dealer (after hearing marvelous reviews from friends Virginia.) Delivery of our refrigerator was sub par .. they leaked water all over my floors after I suggested I place a pad down.. my bad. The door of the Whirlpool refrigerator had a huge dent in it. The plate at the bottom of the refrigerator was damaged. Replacement parts took three months .. really. After new door replaced by B&S the ice maker stopped working and the refrigerator side of the unit stopped working. Their resolution.. wait two weeks until we they could have their repairmen could come out.. ?? Really?? They scheduled independent certified Whirlpool contractor to come in five days .. yes five days no refrig .. he said the B&S repairman broke the control panel.. snd that he'd be back in a week. Our work was to take everything out of the freezer and refrig for 24 hours, unplug the refrig and let the frost build up drop out of the freezer into our floor. After two days with the most miserable customer service imaginable, we finally got service. I've requested s new unit. I'm thinking they are going to have a kid for that out and I'm not going to be happy. The Annapolis store is the absolute pits. Honestly!!!!

The second was just one male who had no idea what and he was doing, could not get the whole washer hooked up, and hooked things up incorrectly 3 times. Was over a 2 hour process for it to be done wrong and he seemed to be under the influence. Had to call my plumber to get it properly installed.

The door is locked and an "appointments only" sign is posted, but there's a salesperson in full view a few feet from the door. She appears to be alone in the shop. She's watching me while I dial the number posted on the door, which seems kind of odd. When she answers the phone I ask her if I can have a quick look inside to see what is on display. She starts reciting manufacturers names, but I am having trouble hearing her since I'm standing outside near loud traffic. I ask again if I can just step inside for a minute (I actually say "about 30 seconds") to have a quick browse. She reluctantly agrees that I can come in but only "for a couple of minutes" and proceeds to go off on a spiel about how I'll need to be working with a kitchen designer if I want to purchase her wares (um okay, I do have a designer, but why do I *have* to have one? Maybe I'm just a really good amateur?) at which point I say, "You know what, nvm, if it's this difficult to ask a simple question I don't imagine I want to do business with you anyway" AND SHE HANGS UP ON ME while she's still looking at me through the glass! Wow. Business must be good to literally turn potential clients away at the door! Definitely stay away from this one. Kitchen design places are plentiful. No one needs to go through a 3rd degree process just to walk through the front door. Insane.

The delivery & installation process is absolutely the worst possible. You would think the delivery would be free after you spend $25,000 on a refrigerator, stove and a wall oven; but it's not. Installation of Subzero and Wolfe appliances require precise and one of kind electrical plumbing rough-ins, which Fergurson does not communicate on the phone or early. So you are constantly email this lady who has 0 field experience. She becomes a human emailer of the spec sheets, which different trades can interpret sightly differently. To reconcile the difference by talking with trades, Subzero tech support, and Fergerson is a full time job. The after-sale support is email exclusive and absolutely time waster. Fergerson after-sale support obsoletely will not talk to you; they will only email you dumb things one like the spec sheet and ask you dumb questions on the email. Heather called me after I threatened to cancel the order; but she knows nothing about the fine installation detail, sometimes down to 1/16". She promised that a Subzero rep would call me the same day, nobody called me. So I called Subzero tech support. It takes about 24 full working hours to coordinate the installation of 4 appliances. I come from a engineering background, with 4 years of fix and flip experience. I have never spent so much time on appliance installation. If you buy subzero as a luxury product, and you also value time as the greatest luxury possible, then Fergueson is not for you. Fergerson will rob you of your time!

Heather Watson assisted in the selection of the right faucets, tub, diverters, and miscellaneous plumbing components to make it all work. Being in the contracting line of business I recognize that complex projects can require a significant amount of assistance to make sure they are done properly; Heather nailed it from every aspect from design, pricing, and working through last minute installation issues associated with a custom bath. Dawn Esposito assisted in taking our conceptual drawings of the vanity/cabinetry to a beautiful, yet functional setup that perfectly matched our design. Just as Heather did, Dawn took ownership of the project, worked with me to get exactly what I wanted and got it ready for release from the factory. During installation the few minor questions that surfaced were responded to immediately allowing installation to continue without delay. I would absolutely recommend Ferguson for anyone interested in bringing their dream renovation to life. This is the type of customer service that should be expected and required of all design/suppliers.

We read reviews and brought out a few companies to provide quotes. Paul (project manager) and Lynn (designer) came together and offered some great ideas to compliment our vision. They also provided a price quote on the spot. We ultimately decided to go with Noble because Paul was confident, without exception, that his team could deliver the shower we wanted; other companies wanted us to make structural changes or exchange materials we'd already purchased. With Noble's good reviews as encouragement, we moved ahead and we're so happy we did! Our shower turned out better than we'd hoped and the work was all done within the estimated timeframe. The guys who worked on the shower, and those who oversaw the work, were all great. We're awaiting the glass enclosure for our shower (a separate company) but I'm attaching a photo of the beautiful work Noble did for us. In our case, we used Kitchen Encounters almost 10 years ago for a major kitchen redesign, so you're getting a more long-term view. First, I was surprised to find how helpful a designer could be. I knew what I wanted the kitchen to look like, but didn't know some of the tricks that have made the kitchen so useful over the years. Tracy introduced us to the concept of toe-kick drawers (THAT's where the broiler pan and the long barbeque tools were meant to live!) and pointed out that we should use trim strips around our small refrigerator so that if we wanted a larger one in the future, we could fit it in just by removing the trim. We've just bought that larger refrigerator and, thanks to Tracy, didn't have to destroy our kitchen to fit it in. Second, when we recently mentioned a problem we'd had over the years with one drawer, they sent Mike over - who quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Talk about standing by your products! I'd recommend Kitchen Encounters without reservation.
