As a homeowner, I have been mystified by the quest to find the perfect paint color. It seems there are just too many paints color options. The reason I believe it has become so much more difficult is because there are too many shades of colors. Such as the color white, one would be surprised the number of shades of white one can explore. Once you have decided to refresh your homes appearance with new colors, the next challenge is all the various retail stores to choose from and the choice of manufacture. Our retail paint store choice has always been Aboff's Paints, and our paint manufacturer Benjamin Moore. The service that we have received from Aboff's has always been outstanding. Our problem has always been choice of paint color, not paint manufacturer. Unfortunately, Benjamin Moore, has over 3,500 colors to choose from, which is incredible. Aboff's has been complimentary in most cases on our final choices, which does help a little bit.

When my painter saw the two gallons of paint, he immediately asked why the finish was in eggshell and that the walls would be super shiny. This is more for a bathroom. I called Aboff's and told them about the situation and asked if there was any way they could take it back as the paints totaled $98.00. Instead of apologizing about the inconvenience, the worker started raising his voice and said eggshell is his most popular finish and that's what he would use on his walls and that if I wanted a flat finish I should have said so. But I do not work at a paint store and do not have knowledge on this stuff, and that is why I specifically told them that it was for a bedroom and asked them what to get. Even if the finish is a personal choice, the way they spoke to me and handled the issue was horrible. Never going back.

There is a charge of $20 per person to enter but that includes almost everything inside including seeing animals (which you can feed by buying $5 cones of food), pony rides for children, a hay ride for the whole family, access to a pumpkin patch, face painting, and a clown/balloon show. The pumpkins were plentiful and reasonably priced and there was a great selection of fall and fair treats. We ended up getting Apple cider, Apple cider donuts, seasonal jam, and lemonade. All were fantastic and priced well considering the cover charge. The farm is beautiful and there are so many scenic spaces for family photos. I was also concerned that going to a pumpkin patch on a Saturday in October would be crazy in terms of the number of people there, but the area was spacious and the lines were all relatively short. Definitely check this place out before the season ends. If you can't make it, they have a tree lighting ceremony in the winter that I imagine will be just as great.

But after reading those reviews in its entirety. My husband and I decided to give them a call for an estimate. I spoke with Joe the owner of The Paint Pro's. He was able to come out and give me an estimate that same day which was awesome. He arrived at the scheduled appointment time which is always a plus. We told him what we wanted painted but we really didn't have any colors in mind we just knew we needed a paint job. Joe suggested some colors that I would have never considered and little did we know that we would go with those suggested colors and our walls would look amazing. After the estimate the next day we decided that we wanted to go with The Paint Pro's. The price was very reasonable and if Joe feels that you don't need a wall or a room painted, he won't paint it, it not about painting more rooms to get extra money with this company. Joe had such an amazing personality. He was very pleasant, had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about paint. Joe came that same day we called him and spackle the walls. The next day he arrived and began. The job was suppose to take two days. However, Joe finished everything in one day. Communication was excellent and he explained everything he was going to do and everything he was doing. Joe went above and beyond and definitely exceeded our expectations. The owner Joy originally sent her son to measure/give a written estimate and we shortly after arranged to drop off a deposit and have items ordered. Late evening the day before our scheduled drop off, we were called stating that they were increasing the price as the son had provided a bad quote. After arriving to the store and questioning this we were also told while they were happy to take the deposit that they were no longer sure they could do the job and would have to send a more senior person back to evaluate. When they came back, almost a week later, the actual installer had to remeasure, as the owner's son had measured improperly as well, but said the job was of course doable. At that time the team seemed apologetic for the inconvenience and told us that if we trusted them they would make it right. As such, we decided as we had already invested the time to give the deposit and we were told they would be ready 4 weeks later for install. 2 weeks after, my wife called for an update and we were informed the shades shipped and due in the next day or two, but that since it was their busy season would not be able to schedule install until several weeks later (~5 week since ordering). 1 week prior to install we get a message saying they have to push back the date of install because the blinds weren't actually in/never even shipped. When talking to her son, he blamed a long term employee that "doesn't know how to use the computer" and when talking to Joy the owner, she states the person who originally told us everything was in while admittedly incompetent had worked their forever and allows it cause she is a loyal person. She then verbally berated me over the phone for making them upset! Do yourself a favor and go to a real store. These folks lie, continually change their story and misled us, particularly after taking our money. This experience has been nothing but a headache and a waste of our time.

I cannot say enough about how impressed by and pleased with Joy I am. Prior to meeting her, I met with several other companies, including the big box stores. From the minute I met Joy, I knew that I would be purchasing from her. She is one of those kind and pleasant people that exudes trustworthiness and competence. She was easy to communicate with, patient, and knowledgeable. She came to my house twice, to review selections, and spent way more time than she needed to, to make me feel comfortable with my purchase. Lately, I've noticed that customer service has gone down in quality, in many arenas. My experience with this company was refreshing and a reminder of what service used to me, and what exceptional service should be. I strongly recommend Joy and her team.

Within a month the flooring is falling apart and separating. They are creating tripping hazards for me, my husband and our family. We submitted a warranty claim that went absolutely nowhere. Floor & Decor had an expert come (that we had to pay for) just to tell us it was the person that installed the floors that caused the damage. This is absolutely not the case, my husband tested the extra planks and saw that the planks are breaking off with the barest of touches. Floor & Decor is doing absolutely NOTHING about this and refuses to acknowledge our warranty. Whenever we try to pursue this, they claim our case has been closed. Save your money and go literally anywhere else but here!!!

Unfortunately i was stuck at work when they came and installed and to my dismay i came home to my island top installed incorrectly (overhang wrong) and this repaired granite that was definitely not the slab i picked in the yard. The owner thought i was exaggerating so he cAme to my house himself, looked at one small L shaped section and sAid "i don't even know why they cut and installed this". I showed him all of the other bad spots and he said "well theres no way i'm replacing all of this" and that was the end of it. 67 sq ft of granite came in at $5000 that i worked really hard for and i'm left with a lackluster result that stares at me every time i'm in my kitchen. They had my money because i know an ex-employee of theirs and he recommended them. No pride in their work
