I had a death in the family, (we're old folks) so I took unit 2 back, explained the situation, asked for an in store credit again - I was told sorry, it's been too long. Really? Several of the same people have been working there since then. Providing long-term jobs to a small community is so incredibly crucial in America these days I just cannot state how important. In all of my years shopping there I have never been treated rude. Never. Quite the opposite actually. It is small-town friendly. They act like they have known you your whole life actually. The prices are right down the middle for a small town store. Even contractors shop there, so expensive is a ridiculous statement. They are not expensive, and especially not even close to double. By the time you drive to Huntsville, you have paid more - due to fuel cost. The furniture collection is so vast and nice for a small-town store it is actually baffling. We drove all the way to Houston (90 miles) looking for home furniture a year or so ago, and ended up purchasing our furniture here also. The prices were actually better than the big-barn discount stores we looked at. Of course you have to speak with a sales person to find out that the listed price on the furniture may not be what you end up paying. And the larger your purchase the lower the price plus FAST free delivery is what we got. I am baffled that this store would ever receive a bad review. One cannot believe everything one reads - well, most people know that anyway. SO! - Wonderful store, wonderful people, decent price scale. Go see for yourself! And yes it sounds like it, but no, I have absolutely nothing to do with this store. The family are not our close friends or anything like that, I am just a shopper. That's all. This is just my honest opinion - and I thought it was important after reading that last review - to spend some time to say how wrong and mean the other reviewer was. Hmmm. Maybe we really know now who the rude person is!

This was when the Sabine River was overflowing and looking to take a short break as we detoured through East Texas to reach Louisiana. At 5:45 am a man beat on the window and told us to leave the parking lot as the store was opening. We were parked in plain view in the front and not been bothering anything in a vacant lot. The store would not be opening any time soon and we were not even asked if everything was okay, just told to go. Left an impression on us that will not fade.
