Their prices are fair. Their service is fantastic! There was even one occasion when I was really in a pinch. I was driving by, and saw who I presumed to be the owner driving through the parking lot. He asked me if he could help me, and opened the closed store to see if he had what I needed. It turns out that he didn't. (It was an odd sized belt for a mower) I felt that he genuinely felt bad that he couldn't help me after he opened the store on his day off for me. Who does that kind of thing anymore!? Them. As I said. Great people.

Several of the same people have been working there since then. Providing long-term jobs to a small community is so incredibly crucial in America these days I just cannot state how important. In all of my years shopping there I have never been treated rude. Never. Quite the opposite actually. It is small-town friendly. They act like they have known you your whole life actually. The prices are right down the middle for a small town store. Even contractors shop there, so expensive is a ridiculous statement. They are not expensive, and especially not even close to double. By the time you drive to Huntsville, you have paid more - due to fuel cost. The furniture collection is so vast and nice for a small-town store it is actually baffling. We drove all the way to Houston (90 miles) looking for home furniture a year or so ago, and ended up purchasing our furniture here also. The prices were actually better than the big-barn discount stores we looked at. Of course you have to speak with a sales person to find out that the listed price on the furniture may not be what you end up paying. And the larger your purchase the lower the price plus FAST free delivery is what we got. I am baffled that this store would ever receive a bad review. One cannot believe everything one reads - well, most people know that anyway. SO! - Wonderful store, wonderful people, decent price scale. Go see for yourself! And yes it sounds like it, but no, I have absolutely nothing to do with this store. The family are not our close friends or anything like that, I am just a shopper. That's all. This is just my honest opinion - and I thought it was important after reading that last review - to spend some time to say how wrong and mean the other reviewer was. Hmmm. Maybe we really know now who the rude person is!

But I urge you to go to Huntsville and buy from ACE, who guarantee their stuff. Or go to Home Depot. They encouraged us to sign up for Ace's membership rewards program which has already saved us a huge amount of money. Almost every time we go there we have coupons or rewards waiting in our account that save us money. Some people have complained that the store is not very large. They must not have been in as many much smaller Ace Hardware stores around. I find this one very large for a city the size of Livingston. My wife and I are delighted that the owners opened up this store!

I stopped in and I was there for 35 minutes waiting on them to "found the right keys" needed to cut them. 4 employees later and a lot of wasted time I was able to get them done. Every employee needs to be trained on key cutting and finding the correct key.

I bought a washer & dryer over the phone from Huntsville Home Depot. The order was made from the…read moremodel number , even though the Home depot associate kept asking for the SKU. The Home Depot person entered the wrong SKU and because of their mistake I received the wrong Washer. Home Depot has a strict 48 hour return policy. They were deliered and hooked up at out Lake house but my wife did not seeth washer & dryer uuntil after 48 hours. Home depot would not take back the washer even though it was their mistake unless ip hysically brought it in an paid a 25% restocking charge, I an elderly and only have a small compact hybrid and there is no way I could bring the washer it. I had also noticed a red light on the washer and Home Depot coul not tell me why? My plumber later told me it was normal during spin to lock lid. Not only is Home Depot arrogant and unprofessional , they are also stupid. Be very careful if buy something at Home Depot, you may be like me stuck with the wrong item because of home Depot mistakes and incompetence.
