I took it to Anchor, and they were able to open it within 30 minutes, trying a variety of different methods - including trying to release a broken lock using a magnifying glass and other tools. Finally, by only drilling a small hole into the safe, they were able to compromise the locking mechanism and the door swung open. Good job.

Three local Houston safe companies were unable to help and the parts were long unavailable. I searched hundreds of safe companies from Ca to NY. Then I found Orest at Anchor in Michigan. He knew exactly what I needed and even sent the 65 year old NEW parts for my preview. I was concerned as I specified a 3" dial diameter and Orest sent a 2 7/8" part. Guess what? My problem stemmed from wrong parts that were on my safe. The door has a dial recess designed for the 2 7/8" diameter dial. My 3" dial sat outside the recess and rubbed and stressed the wheel post to the point it broke. Thanks to Anchor my safe is as good as new. They performed when no one else in America could. DAVID came over to explain to me why the lock was jammed he gave me some options to fix it. The prices were reasonable, so I went ahead and had David fix the lock on my steel door.
