Went by on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, an ordered a replacement windshield for our Pathfinder. I paid in full. Colton did not take my phone number, I thought he had my phone number because I had call earlier for pricing. Set the appointment for Thursday, April 30, 2026, @ 1:30, I show up for my appointment, only to be informed by Colton the replacement windshield was broken in transit, and he did not call be because he did not have my phone number. I set a 2:30 appointment for Friday, May 1, 2026, to have the windshield replaced. Friday morning, today, I get a phone call at 10:30 saying they are going to have to use a different vender, and they won't have the windshield until 2-4 pm and would not be able to replace my windshield until Monday. First question I had was why they are just finding out they had to use a different vender? Wouldn't the vender tell them earlier than the Friday's delivery time??? I asked for a manager and was told by Colton he was out and headed to Huntsville, however, the manager called me back from the same number within 5 minutes! When I asked why they can't install the windshield Friday afternoon, which I have a 2:30 appointment, I was informed they won't have time, they close at 5, and they don't work overtime! When I complained, the manager informed he was refunding my money, and I would receive my money in the next 3 to 5 business days. I plan on sharing this horrible customer service with all of my friends, family and clients. We will never use or recommend Able Glass. read more

I would strongly recommend using Able Glass for any glass need you might have. They were very timely in getting our job measured and price quoted. I was pleasantly surprised by their price. If you have window repairs check out Able Glass they won't let you down. read more

First replaced a car windshield and then was talking about shower doors. They installed them and had some great insight as the how they should look taking into account what we wanted. They also fixed a leaky frameless shower doors. read more

We were given a quote of $303 to replace the glass in 2 windows. After 3 trips to our home, they ended up charging us $644 to make the repairs. We had thought $303 was reasonable and now we see how they scam you into using them for the job - and then you end up paying more than double for the job. We will not use them again, and I would suggest, you not do so either. read more

In less than a year and a half our frameless shower has caused the marble that had never had issues holding up the framed shower glass (for over twenty years) to pull away from the wall making the shower completely unusable. We specifically asked if we can replace the framed shower glass with frameless glass in an old shower enclosure and should we decided to redo the shower at a later date can we reuse the glass. We were told yes to both questions. It turns out this was not true. Per a contractor who took a close look at everything we should have been told that the marble would not be able to support the heavier weight of the frameless glass door. Able Glass says that we need to fix the marble and they will put it back in. This of course would lead to the same problem. Per the contractor frameless shower glass doors are heavier than framed doors that is why the marble was fine for over twenty years. It needed a stud to support the additional weight. I really regret using Able glass. We spent $3939.26 to do both of our bathrooms in March of 2023 now we have one shower that gapes open leaving water everywhere and another that can not be used at all. Per another local Glass company and another contractor you can NEVER reuse the older shower glass in a new shower enclosure. Had Able been truthful with us we would have never moved forward with this project. We asked if they would reimburse us one half of the cost of the one shower for a total of $1071.55 but were told they will not issue a refund. This shower alone cost us $2143.09 and again we spent $3939.26 for both and now we have to remodel and pay for another one. I thought a family owned local company who we had worked with before would be honest about the limitations of replacing a framed glass shower door with a frameless one. read more

Able Glass Conroe, TX - Bad Job replacing window panel & Terrible Customer Service! Took in RV window that had top panel broken out. They were to match it to the bottom panel which was black. Picked up window and they had replaced it with a gray panel. No match at all. Claimed that color of black was discontinued. They didn't contact me to ask if I wanted gray since they couldn't match. Requested refund or for them to tint to match. They don't do tinting and refused a refund. Emailed General Mgr. of store Tyler Buck for a solution and he doesn't even give me the courtesy of a reply. read more

Very unprofessional , I called wanting some custom plexiglass work, (I had a quote from a big shop in Houston) but wanted to stay local, called and talked to Jason and he requested picture, so I sent pictures then I HAD TO CALL BACK and he said he showed them to his "car guy" and they would call back. The next day I had to call AGAIN and talked to Josh and he said he was the car guy and new nothing about it...I reminded him about it and he "sort of remembered it" but said it would be very hard and lots of labor very $$$$............I said ive got a quote from another shop and it wasent bad and explained that I just don't want to goto Houston, he said "honestly I would take it there" he gave me the impression HE REALLY DIDNT WANT OR NEED THE WORK.....................to bad!!!! I went in for a back glass repair on a 2007 Honda pilot and didn't realize they broke the seat side panel and yanked out the wires until I got home. Notice it when I tried to move the seat back. When I called they said it was a big guy that worked on my car so his foot must of got caught and rip the side panel off. They gave me the run around and never fixed it. Will not be going back to this place. Went in for a $262.26 repair and come out with a $300 plus repair. They are a joke and bunch of clowns working there. If you decide to go there make sure you do a full walk around and inspection before you leave. ( Conroe location ) read more

Horrible - don't do business with these people. I ordered a window over three weeks ago. It was supposed to take less than a week. It was a little over $200.00, and I have paid that in full. My other option was to buy it online. That was $50. cheaper, and would have arrived in three days. As it turns out, they didn't make the window at Able Glass. They just order it (the same as I would have done) and charge for their involvement. When the window arrived it was half an inch taller on one side than the other. They didn't call me when it arrived - it just sat there until I called them. They later said they had written my number down wrong. At this point it has been over three weeks and I still don't have the window. I paid $50. extra to deal with a local Conroe company. What a joke read more

Able Glass installed the glass surround for our shower several years ago. A few days ago the bottom shower hinge broke. We called Able Glass and emailed them a photo of the hinge. They came out the NEXT DAY and replaced the hinge free of charge because it has a lifetime warranty. Great service and they stand behind their work. I had Able Glass replace a cracked window in my living room. First, they scheduled the appointment, then tried to reschedule because they had overbooked. When they did come to do the work, they broke the glass and did not pick up the pieces. Several large shards had been knocked five or six feet away and ended up in the 2 year old's toy basket. He later brought the pieces of broken glass to us which alerted us to this fact. It is a real shame that they have gone down so far in service. I had used the company for years, but never will again. It is like an entirely different company. read more
