We had to drive a lot of the time with FLASHERS because the it wouldn't go fast enough to move safely without them!!!!!!! They only discounted the truck not the Car Towing Dolley. We were not compensated for having to deal with a truck that ran very poorly, just charged a very large sum of money. NOT HAPPY! You have to rent from a Company that will stand behind their Products. I looked at him and noticed his shirt said U-Haul so I concluded he worked there in some capacity. He ignored me as though I was invisible so I followed him inside. I told him I had a 2 O'clock appointment for trailer wiring and he said we are way behind today, he said if you would leave me alone I can get started on the next customer. This U-Haul employee was unquestionably rude and dismissive of me without explaining how long a wait or any other options. I was taken aback by his condescending demeanor and frankly I was offended. Because, after being told repeatedly, that self-Checkout & Checkin is prohibited in New Mexico, after as recent as a few days before this rental reservation I had done exactly that at two other locations in Santa Fe, I spoke up and disagreed with her statement -- she told me I was being "competitive" (I believe she meant to say, "confrontational" simply for pointing out that the other locations in Santa Fe were Self Serve locations and that I felt she was calling me a liar). Even after that she continued to be rude and argumentative and ultimately decided not to rent to me. I mentioned that had I treated any Customer where I work half as badly as she had treated me I would be fired. Her father who owned the location prior to her becoming Owner was all about the Customer, but apparently that concept did not transfer over when she took control of the business. Because of this treatment, inconvenience of finding a last minute replacement, the overall negative experience and lack of sound business practice, we will after more than 10 years of loyal patronage no longer come to this location for any need. Very sad.

This has got to be the cleanest facility as well as the best managed one that I have ever been in…read more My dad recently moved to a smaller place and needed a storage locker for several hundred bottles of wine. They are Santa Fe's only certified wine storage facility for the private sector. Climate controlled units are inside, with several locker sizes to chose from. They also sell wine racks and locks and have dollys for moving your merch into its new home. There is a room which looks like it is being set up for wine tastings perhaps. This place is just what Santa Fe needed. The main selling point though was Jordan, who went out of his way to go over everything they had to offer, and did so with a smile and patience as my dad asked innumerable questions. Hey, if you're a wine connoisseur you are passionate about your bottles, and it was great that the gentlemen there understood this and was just as enthusiastic to help answer all of his questions and concerns.

If there is one comment I would have is that there is no automated way to close a unit otherwise my rating would've been five stars. That comment is of course directed at the corporate entity and not the local facility who's response has always been excellent.
