My car was broken into and my insurance recommended AJ. AJ was very responsive and we scheduled a repair later that day. Unfortunately, since two windows were smashed, he ended up only being able to acquire one piece of glass that day. He was optimistic that it may come in later that night, but alas it was not meant to be. We rescheduled for the next day, AJ came with the two pieces and he did a very thorough job installing and vacuuming the glass. Despite the rescheduling I would still recommend AJ and his service. He is knowledgeable and empathetic. read more

AAA referred me to this person. What a mistake. " AJ " lies about everything. He told me that my windshield glass would arrive within a couple days, after waiting for a week and didn't hear from him I had to call him to find out what happened . Then, he told me that he called to book my appointment and was not truth, when I ask him why he did not leave a message he didn't know what to say. We agreed to communicate via text to avoid misunderstandings. But, did not answer my question over text. At the day of the appointment, after checking with him and waiting for 2 hours ( 10am - 12pm. ) he send me a message at 12:05pm saying that he was 12min late. Don't trust someone who calls you "bro" or " friend " over the phone. read more

ABJ Auto Glass - Very irresponsible. - Auto Glass Services Near Me - Sunnyvale, California

This guy is a LIAR for a week he had been telling me that he would fix my window the following day but never did. I had to drive around with a newborn and no window. Finally on Friday he said he'd come Saturday morning around 10. When I called at 12 noon he said he was 15-20 minutes away but didn't show up until 1:30. I was pissed he wasted my entire day. Had he just been honest no problem but this guy is a scam. Anyone would be better off with another company. It seems like he has other reviews saying the same exact thing so it just goes to show how unprofessional this man is. read more

ABJ Auto Glass - Go to hell. - Auto Glass Services Near Me - Sunnyvale, California

I waited awhile to make my appointment, only to discover they were willing to replace my windshield on a Saturday. Game changer! They gave me an ETA on receiving the replacement windshield, then showed up a little later than expected, and got to work. They were done in a little over an hour. They were polite, charming, and fast! read more

AJ was professional, thorough, and timely. Really appreciate them fitting me in next day (did not have window in stock so they had to order it), when other vendors I tried could not do it for several days. He even helped me fix some problems previous vendors messed up on the door (missing screw). Thank you AJ (and Son)! read more

Great glass repair service! Very responsive and kept me up to date throughout the whole experience. My glass was back ordered but AJ was prompt to notify me when it came in and replaced it same day. He came to our house, was respectful, friendly and informative. He explained the procedure on how to install a windshield, which was pretty interesting! Overall, I have no doubt that I would use ABJ auto glass again in the future. Thanks AJ! read more

ABJ is very knowledgeable about auto glass. They saved me a lot of money and protected me from overpaying at the dealership. They were extremely responsive and personable. Very easy to follow up with and offered free services if anything was wrong with the job they did. Would recommend them to anyone. read more

My car was broken into and the side window was smashed. The hard part was getting replacement glass, as this was a new car model. As soon as the glass arrived, I called ABJ auto glass and got an appointment quickly (basically the next day). When I made the appointment, they immediately gave me a price (which was extremely competitive and about 1/4th of what the dealership would have charged) and they honored that price. All I had to do was send some pictures of the car, and it was easy to make an appointment over the phone/text. ABJ auto glass gave me a time window, and even contacted me the day of to provide a more precise arrival time. The repair was flawless -- you can't tell at all the glass was replaced. ABJ auto glass was extremely efficient and -- more important to me -- was meticulous and had great attention to detail. (Including fishing out every last piece of broken glass from inside the car door to ensure it wouldn't be rattling around in there). The inside of the car was also vacuumed to remove any trace of glass. While I hope I won't need their services again any time soon, if I know who to call. Extremely professional and excellent customer service, goes above and beyond. read more

Very quick and very straightforward. The guys came to our house with the glass already in their vehicle. It was nice and very convenient having them come to us rather then going to their shop. Both were easygoing and was chill talking with them. read more

This is the only company I was able to find to come fix my broken windshield on Labor Day. I appreciate the thoroughness and communication AJ had with me about coming to my home and fixing my windshield. The price was fair and the work was well done not to mention convenient for being mobile. Running late from other jobs happens - I look at the work done on my car and it was perfect. I'll be sure to use this company again. read more

DO NOT USE THIS GUY'S SERVICE. WORST EVER! HE'S A LIAR! SUPER LATE AND A NO SHOW! Our appt. was a mobile one at my place from 10-12, and AJ said that he'll get the job done during that time (lie). I call him, 20 to 12, and he says the appt. was at his shop (lie). He says he's coming (he doesn't--another lie). When we call again, he tells us to meet him where he buys his glass and that he'll be there at 12:30 (lie). He says that te job will be done in 20 min., and we'll be free to go home by 12:50 (lie). When we get there, he isn't there--late again. When we call him, he says he got a ticket because "I was driving fast to get to you"... at a time that you gave us? At 12:30 when our appt. was from 10-12? Sorry Mr. AJ, but based on your pattern of compulsive lying, I'm gonna hafta say that that stinks of something... Old lies, perhaps? I've never written a bad review on Yelp until today, and that, Mr. AJ is no lie. read more

Kept me waiting for days, then stood me up. Bad, BAD GUY. Take your business elsewhere; he just wastes your time.

I got a same day appointment to replace my car window last week. They came to my house and were efficient in vacuuming the broken glass and replacing the window. They did miss some glass that was in the ac vent (I didn't notice this until a few days later). Otherwise, they were really polite and were able to answer any questions I had. They also took all the broken glass to dispose of. I hope to not have to get another window replaced any time soon, but now I know who to call if it ever happens again. read more

Nice father and son team, good communication, fast work, polite. Would definitely use again!

AJ answered all of my questions over the phone and then came to my house to replace my windshield. All in all a very painless experience. Would recommend. read more

Very painless process replacing my window here. Drove to my apartment and was flexible in where we set up to replace the window. Unbeknownst to me their service even included a thorough vacuum of all the glass shards left behind which was terrific as I had been figuring out where I can clean that myself. The new glass was clean and fitted perfectly! read more

Mohammed and his son did a wonderful job fixing up a replacement window. I needed it before the next morning as i had plans to drive down to davis and they came at 11pm to help me get it all done up! Most stores would not even be open during this time or early the next morning but despite the time, Mohammed still came to my house, brought his portable lights, and worked his magic. His price is the lowest in the area and better still, he comes to your location! Had a great time chatting with his son too. Humble and professional team. I would highly recommend contacting them for glass services. Thank you guys! read more

My car got broken into last Monday night. On Tuesday morning when I found the shattered back window I realized that it wasn't going to be an exactly pleasant day (though, luckily nothing was actually stolen). I called my auto-insurance who set me up with a mobile appointment with ABJ Auto Glass. Unfortunately, they would not be able to be at my place right away as they would need the time to find the appropriate fitted glass. By 6pm that same day they were able to get to my place and despite some minor snafus involving lack of electrical outlets they were able to clean up all the shattered glass and replace the back window as if nothing had happened. The serviceman, AJ, was very polite and courteous and got my car fixed up right away. God forbid my car gets broken into again, but if it does I'll call ABJ Auto Glass again without hesitation! read more

This guy is awesome! He comes to your place and offers the cheapest glass repair service you will find. He is also a super friendly and interesting guy, after he repaired both my front and back windshields he stayed a little longer and told me about his amazing life story. Update: after not calling me back all week (when he promised he would, to resolve the poor job he'd done initially), he saw my review and called within minutes of the posting, harassing me about owing him money. I told him to deal with the dealership that ended up PROPERLY fixing my car, as well as my insurance company. I hope this nightmare ends soon. What a terrible business - seriously, avoid at ALL costs. read more

I had a semi truck kick up a good size rock and broke my windshield, I went through my insurance and they recommended me to go to safe light auto glass, that was a nightmare! They didn't have my replacement windshield, so I rescheduled, I ended up being 10 minutes late and they didn't service my vehicle. I recalled my insurance and they recommended ABJ auto, I work a lot and ran out of time to get it serviced, ABJ came to my work and fixed my windshield it was quick and hassle free, I didn't even have to sweat, they work professionally and they are very responsible and respectful. Highly Recommend!! read more

If I ever need a glass replaced (hopefully not sometime soon) AJ will be the guy I'll go to. He's a thorough professional. Somebody had broken into my car to steal stuff. There was glass everywhere and it was too difficult to drive it to a body shop. Most shops were either too expensive or wanted me to drive in. AJ drove down to Palo Alto, fixed the window and cleaned the car. Not a shard left behind. Will definitely recommend him. read more

We used AJ for our glass replacement after our car got broken into on a Saturday. About 5 hours after we called, he was able to come to our location with his pick-up truck and replace our window, which included vacuuming up all the spare glass, taking out the old window, putting in the new one, and recalibrating the window sensors. Unfortunately there was a bit of a mixup because the warehouse gave him the wrong type of window, but he came back at no extra charge on Sunday to install the right one. AJ probably gets a lot of last minute calls, so scheduling can be a bit on-the-fly, which means that sometimes he'll call you back saying that he's actually going to be there one hour later than he originally said. However, if you're flexible with timing, he's a great option. Note that the window that you get replaced will not be an "original" part, so if you want an window from the original manufacturer you should go through your dealership but it will be more expensive (in our case, it was about $70 more expensive through the dealership). Also, cash only. read more

Last week I had my Honda's windshield replaced by AJ of ABJ Auto Glass. I found the company though an AAA insurance recommendation. And I wanted to patronize a local Sunnyvale business. Someone broke the rear glass of my mini suv. Called this guys up to fix it, recommended by my insurance. I called them 12pm And said they'll come at 4-5pm. No show. Pass 6pm he calls and tells me he's been calling but my phone was busy (lie). He said he'll be in my apartment 45 mins to and hr. I asked him to bring light coz its already dark. He said he has it. He comes and tells me its too dark to do it (where's his light??? I dont know). So we moved the appointment to 10am the next day. 9:45am I called him just to make sure he's ready. He said he'll leave at 10. He's 10 Mins away from My place. 10:45am I called him again he said there's an accident down the street I live in(lie). 11:05 i called him again and he said he's getting in the apartment parking. 11:15 he arrives. WTH?!!!! he came alone. Said it will only take an hr to do it. He said his helper is coming, no helper came, he didn't make a phone call while he was doing this either. He finished around 3pm. He said if i paid cash he wouldn't tax me. So i got cash. Promised me he would give me a discount since he's late. Original price was $438 without tax. He made me pay $420. He said that the no tax is already part of the "I'm late" discount even though he gave me that price before scheduling when he would come out. The work is pretty decent. He's not rude either. I just hate Liars and people who cant commit to time. read more

If you have time to wait then this is an okay choice but if you operate on any kind of schedule you should avoid. He was late to first appointment and I had to call him to see where he was after he was not there in my two hour window. After already waiting during my scheduled two hour window, I was not able to wait on him to get there any longer, but decided to try again and reschedule. Then he was over an hour late to the second appointment. He said it would take 45 min-1 hour to replace, but took an 1.5 hours. So far, it looks like okay work, but again, only use is you have time to waste waiting. read more

I would strongly recommend ABJ Auto Glass for any car glass replacement. He was available the day after I called to come out to replace a smashed window on my car. Other companies first available day was two weeks out and double the price. When the company he was getting the glass from delivered the wrong window to him, he drove all the way from Sunnyvale to Modesto the following day to pick up the correct window since he had told me he would get it done that day and the company he was getting the glass from doesn't deliver on Saturday. He gave me a great price and did a great job replacing the window and his son did a great job vacuuming all the glass that was all over the inside of the car. read more

AJ was very kind and helpful, after my car had two windows smashed and items stolen he was able to get the windows replaced and working like new again the same day within a couple hours! He vacuumed all of the shattered glass and did a great job cleaning up afterward. I could tell he felt bad for our situation and even gave a discount on the job. AJ is a nice guy and does a good job - no scratches on your paint job or glass left behind. I called in 10 quotes and he was the 2nd cheapest - but expect him to add 5-10 procent and as many of the reviews states he is not on time. But even with that in mind I would still recommend him if you are not in a hurry as he is still much cheaper than the other offers I got, is friendly and knows what he is doing. read more

DON'T go to this place. They will SCREW YOU OVER. I have a cracked windshield. I called my insurance company last week and made arrangements for them to come out to my home and fix it. I tried to get it done sooner and couldn't, now the crack has spread. They gave me a time range of 2-4pm today. I called at 12:00pm today to confirm. They assured me they would be here from 3-5. I told them they had promised 2-4. They said ok, fine, see you then. At 1:51pm some guy from some RANDOM glass company I have never heard of called me and told me that ABJ Auto glass had cancelled (no reason was provided AT ALL, the guy didn't know) and if I wanted them to do the work (I guess they tried to sub-contract out?) I would need to call my insurance company to give them permission. So I called my insurance company, spent another 40 minutes on the phone only to be told that it would probably be an extra $200-250 dollars since that particularly glass company charges more. Sop now I have been trying to find someone last minute to fix my windshield because ABJ Auto Glass thought it would be ok to just cancel without any sort of offer to reschedule, an apology or even a call. They suck, I have written this review and told my insurance company EXACTLY what happened and what I think of them. Also, I had to take today off work because I can't have the windshield replaced where I work. Thank you ABJ for totally FU*&King me over. DON'T USE THIS PLACE THEY SUCK. NOT a good business and I will NEVER recommend them EVER. read more
