Staycity Aparthotels Deptford Bridge Station

Then it is very easy to make your way around using the underground. We purchased Oyster cards which makes it more so easier. There are also buses which stop around the corner running day and all night , though the night bus terminates in a different location to the day one once in the city. The hotel itself is pretty new and has all the basics. We had small stove , microwave , cutlery etc in ours if one wished to self cater. The staff are friendly and when we did have requests they were dealt with very quickly. We did though experience a problem with a faulty heater control which kept us awake on our first of six night stay which unfortunately could not be fixed at the late hour. So we moved the room that night and the next day they kindly moved our things to a room next to the previous nights one when we were out. Good service. All in all an enjoyable stay though we spent most of the time outside....so really just slept there. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind staying a little out of the centre, in a nice clean place and quiet area.

If you want a very noisy hotel with rock hard pillows, instant coffee and absolutely no amenities…read morethis is the place for you! The hotel is built over a very busy gym so every time someone in the gym drops a set of weights you can feel it! All night long, bang, bang, bang. The hotel knows it's an issue but will still put you in a room above the gym. We complained, so they moved us to a much smaller room. The pillows are rock hard, the sheets are so stiff and scratchy. The fake wood floors are very dirty, the wall switches are gross. We have no idea how this is rated so well! Must be lots of fake reviews. See honest photos of our visit 6-2023 Also would like to point out there is no breakfast offered! There is no place to sit and hang out. Please see the posted housekeeping schedule. The will clean your room for a "fee". Also so you know there is no access to a computer to use! If you need to look something up or research a destination or check in for your flight.

The room is tiny to be considered an apartment even thought it possess some features of an apartment. There's a stove for those who desires to cook and dine in the room. Utensils, pots and pans are provided as well but look out for rust. One of our pots was very rusty inside. There's no fancy K-Cups or Nespresso so you'll have to settle with instant coffee in the morning. Another weird rule they imply is they won't makeup your room unless you stay for 7 days or more. However they do empty the trash cans. We found tissue paper in the corner of the bathroom when we returned at night because the maid made a mess while emptying those cans. The bathroom design is horrendous. There's no separation between the shower and toilet. Water splashes everywhere even when you use the curtains. Make sure you bring sandals or flip flops if you plan on staying here. Double check the shampoo/body wash to make sure they're filled because they won't. When we pulled out the extra blankets and sheets from they closet we discovered multiple stains on them. Perhaps it's coffee stains or perhaps someone had a nightmare and had an accident. Either case I have no desire to find out. Breakfast is not included. There are multiple restaurants and grocery stores around the area. The Greenwich station is minutes away which makes it convenient for a tourist like me.

They engaged one of the 2 companies and charged £318 plus £90 which was an administration fee, though they asked our concierges to do the administration. They invoiced Galliards (we have seen the invoiced) who then added £50 to the already inflated figure and invoiced us £405.60 There are 69 flats so this is a very big profit for both SFS Fire and Galliards Some residents, along with local councillors, went to see Galliards and they promised they would look into it (they acted as though they had no idea they had been overcharged which was very worrying because we had told them and it shows they feel no duty of care to the leaseholders in their blind pursual of profit) and promised to come back to us. Not a dicky bird. they expect us to pay £405.60 for a job that costs £228 because they say so and they are so arrogant and contemptuous towards their leaseholders they feel this is the thing to do Avoid

Clean My Residence

Avoid this cleaning company at all costs- do not be sucked in by their cheap prices or promises/…read moreguarantees on their website- they do not keep their word Had a weekly 2 hour clean for three weeks before changing to another company. On the first clean, the cleaner had two hours to clean my small modern one bedroom flat, but the standard of cleaning was very poor. The cleaning was very rushed- my kitchen floor still had dust and coffee stains on it, the table had sticky stains on it- all signalling neither had been cleaned. The window sills were dusty, the kitchen sink had not been cleaned, and I could go on. The amount of cleaning that was done in "2 hours " I regularly manage in 30 minutes i.e. just some of thee surfaces wiped and hoovered. Not even the settee was dusted or the kitchen floor mopped. The cleaning was so bad I then had to spend another hour that evening cleaning the glaringly obvious bits that she had missed. I gave her advice on the things she missed, and put it down as a potential one off. The second clean, the cleaner did not clean the bath/shower, did not hoover the bedroom floor, did not clean about a quarter of the bathroom floor, did not brush the kitchen floor before mopping it (so all the dirt was simply stuck on harder) and left the front door to my flat open! When I brought this to the attention of Julian, who runs the cleaners' schedule or is the manager or owner or something, and requested a refund or a second clean, as well as a different cleaner. I requested a second clean or a refund as they state on their website if you are not satisfied with the clean, that is what they do. However, he assigned a different cleaner, but ignored all my attempts at getting in touch for a refund or a second clean. After 4 days of waiting and trying, I cleaned the bits left out by the cleaner myself. The third week? The cleaner did not turn up. That was the last straw.

The replacement cleaner didn't show up and when we rang her she was apparently sick, too (although I'd been chasing the agency for days to confirm and they never mentioned it). The prices are way under average - don't be conned into thinking otherwise. I'd be more than happy to pay a lot more for reliable, good service. Still haven't had a reply on email or text from Julian.

My offer on a…read moreproperty was accepted in writing on Saturday, and based on this, I immediately engaged (and paid) a solicitor to start the process. However, a few days later, I was informed that the seller had decided to go to a "best and final offer" process because another buyer had come in with a higher bid--essentially, I was gazumped despite already having written confirmation of my accepted offer. To make matters worse, communication throughout the process was poor. I had to chase Balmit multiple times just to get confirmation of what was happening, which only added to the frustration. The lack of transparency and professionalism made what should have been an exciting process incredibly stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend Chase Evans to anyone looking for a reliable and ethical estate agent.

I flagged that my shower head holder was broken and a safety hazard during my inspection on June 1st. It is now September 16th and I still have not been able to get someone to come repair it and the shower head has hit me on the head, leaving a bruise multiple times. The property manager, Andrew Karayiannis, and his manager Bethany are claiming they're doing all they can do but they rarely return my calls or follow through on what they say they're going to do and they're unable to get an appointment set. I have tried going through the landlord's person directly but he is unresponsive as well. This is by far the worst property management experience I've had in the UK and in the US. At the very least, make sure you understand if Chase Evans actually manages the property or just avoid altogether.
