Let us view properties that weren't even unavailable, didn't reply to any of our emails once we put an offer in and didn't seem to even care that they wasted our time. Unprofessional, rude, and pushy. Had one agent rudely push me in my apartment after I asked at 7pm that he continue his discussions outside so my family could eat dinner. Then after dropping off my keys, I proceeded to get another phone call from the same agent who continued to insult me! DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT. In fact don't even look at their shop window. When walking through New Cross when you are getting near the bottom of Jerningham Road stare at the floor and dont look up again until you are at least by the Hobgoblin, just in case. Ive just moved out of a house managed by them and Ive never had worse letting agents or even dealt with such useless time wasters. They will dodge your calls at all costs and will NEVER call you back. When you do finally get through to someone then listen and then do sod all about it, they just ignore whatever request it was everytime. Literally every week I called them for a whole year telling them our shower was leaking through the ceiling and they never adequately sorted that problem out ever, was still like it when we moved out. This reveiw box is no where near big enough for the massive list of other horrendus things they did including taking a holding fee off another party just hours after they took our one! Unfairly trying to hike the rent up contrary to a contract we had signed with them, tried to take all our deposit, charged us for a check in inventory that we never saw or agreed to. Could not agree with Tomronald more! THE most unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. Try to take money from you left right and centre- any overpayments? Dont expect to see them again. Not even sure half of our rent was being passed on to the landlord. Do not call you back when there is a problem, do not email back when there is problem. As estate agents go these are pretty good they have managed to sell properties to me and three friends in the last year and a half so must be doing something right. I was impressed as they took the initiative and told me how I could extend the lease of my flat before I moved in which basically gave them the sale. It took a long time for my flat to complete however they were always available and kept communication lines open, although to be honest they did tell the old owner to remove the white goods at great expense which I was not happy about I have heard that valuations can be a bit inconsistent however this was from a friend who I know was looking for a higher figure so may be slightly biased. In sum if you are looking to move to the New Cross area (and it has been called he New Camden) then these are the people to go with, still a little sharky but definitely not the cowboy outfit that you get most places. read more
