I ordered new wheels and tires for both my new 2024 RAM 2500 Limited and my wife's Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The initial install went great aside from them leaving all my new wheels and tires a mess from the install. Hey, these things happen, but is disappointing when spending that much on nice new things. What is causing this post is I took my truck in for a rotation and while doing so one of the techs didn't pay attention and broke off a wheel stud with his impact gun. They told me they did it and gave me info to get it covered, but unfortunately I had to handle finding a shop and handle getting fixed, taking a 1/2 day off from work. Then it was a pain to get reimbursed - not at all a good experience. Zero customer care. A few weeks ago it was time for another rotation and this time I decide to have the dealership do it as part of a service. I immediately get a call asking who last worked on my tires and wheels. I ask why and they proceed to tell me (2) of the studs are broken off 1/2 way inside the lug nuts. The opposite side from where the previous tech had broken a stud. I had to pay to have dealer fix and then when I try to contact Discount Tire, I either get left on hold or leave a message that is never returned. This happened multiple times. I decided once again to try contacting Discount Tire before leaving a negative review and Josh is not available so I speak with Derek. Derek seems to actually take an interest and I explained everything to him and he agreed to reimburse me for the costs caused by damage. Just needed a receipt. I let him know I was traveling and would get with him later in the week. I called him and due to our schedules not aligning I emailed him the info and asked for a confirmation that he received what he needed. Now radio silence. I have tried numerous times to reach him for the past week or so, 10+ rings for someone to answer the phone, sitting on hold for 10+ minutes, I have now decided my time is worth more than this effort and money. I have posted a picture the dealer sent me, I do not have a picture of the original damage. Yes everyone is nice, but the reality is I cannot trust them to work on my vehicles nor do they seem to have their business running in a fashion focused on customer service. Be cautious on using them for anything.

They will remain nameless. It is not my nature to slam a business. Personally, it shook my confidence and trust, though. Fast forward. Had to buy four new tires after the discovery of the "false care" from them. My son recommended Tom's Tire Pros, so I bought them there. I had to charge them so had all of the road hazard insurance added. Then, I called and had the wheels aligned there and decided to go there for my oil change. The alignment and the oil change cost less than I had paid at other places in the past. The topper came this week, though. I had been hearing a loud squeak in the springs or frame or whatever??? I took it up to them to ask if someone could drive it around slowly and listen to it to see if it could be fixed or what it would cost. One of the shop guys did just that and came in and was telling the service writer what he did. I walked up and asked him to tell me. He said it was the stabilizer that was squeaking and something about struts?? I'm a girly girl so understood some of it, but bottom line, I could replace something or other, but it would be fine without it. He greased the squeaking really well, with it on the lift rack and it was gone. There would still be a popping in the something?? I never heard that to begin with, and haven't still.? So, I asked the mechanic if he would replace the part and he said no. I said okay, I'm not. The replaced thing was $600. I went to pay, and they both said " No Charge "!! I tried to tell them thank you but could hardly get the words out with out crying I told them how much it means to me to be able to trust a business like theirs again!!! Just can't recommend this place enough!

No problem, but I was then told that I wouldn't find the lug nuts needed and to just sell my rims. Well I found the lug nuts that would fit the rims and my car. But when the put my stock rims back on the guy forgot to put my censor back on one of the tires. Owner said to come back in when I could and he would put them on for free. I was charged for that though. And more then what was agreed upon too as well. Each time I had my credit card ran by this place it's been more then It was pose to be So I took my car back up to this tire shop when I received my lug nuts , totally senseless on my part. my lock key was broken or snapped by the guy who put my rims on my car and he told me that he was gonna give me the one in his hand that he used instead of mine. But the owner of the shop kept it instead. And not no more then 35-40 miles off of the lot. My back passenger tire started to shake and it was life threatening. knowing that the guys up there would be quick to fight and not offer any compensation I just took my car to my mechanic to fix the issue . They had put my emergency break and in doing that when it was released the rim was not in the Correct position or tighten up so my studs were bent and the lug nuts stripped out. It cost more then $400 for labor and parts to fix. I just don't know why men think that woman can be taken advantage of, like I'm not a dummy but I was for trusting this place to work on my car.

He said that they don't have the tire but they can order it. I stopped by to check how many tire do I need to change. In my opinion, I felt that only one tire needed to be changed but I wanted their input. The same person who took my call came out to check my tires. One brand new I just changed recently, one is low on tread, and 2 looked fine for me. He said no you need 3 tires because these 2 are one 6 years old and the other is 5 years old. When we went inside to get the order, He said they are $100 each. Then I said that is too much, you said $70 on the phone and I am on a limited budget, then he said I can find something for $85, I said fine, then he came back and said they are out of stuck. Only 1 left. At this point I could sense the dishonesty on his face so I left. When I got home I checked my tires. One has DOT code ends with (4319) and the other with code (0820). That means that one tire is 4 years 3 months old, and the other is 3 years 11 months old. So he lied to me to make the sale.
