Minh went to her house the same day, picked up her washer, repaired it (even though another repairman had deemed it unrepairable) and delivered it back to her! It has worked perfectly since it was repaired over a week ago. I'm so thankful that I now have an appliance repairman I can call to service all her appliances when necessary!

On Wednesday morning, I called to see if they had an idea as to when someone would be coming. I called twice more. The third time I called, the lady in the office said there was an appointment scheduled for someone with my last name, but it was not me. I was then told it would be another week before someone could come out to even look at my refrigerator. I got in touch with the owner and he was super helpful in getting someone out the next day. Keith came out on Tuesday and told me what he thought was wrong, which was the compressor, and sure enough, it was the compressor. He ordered the parts and on Friday morning, Keith came out at 10:00 and the refrigerator was running by noon. Keith was VERY knowledgeable and helpful. I was quite upset with the snafu regarding the initial appointment scheduling, but this turned out as good as it could have. I appreciate everything West Texas Appliance did for me. I will deal with LG regarding the crappy compressor they chose to put on these refrigerators. They've paid out a lot with the class action lawsuit which was filed in the past. I told her I would be glad to update my review AFTER this appointment. Guess what? The tech was a no-show, no-call. I have tried repeatedly to call and confirm my appointment, including leaving a voice message, and no response. Run backwards if your warranty refers this business to you. They are nothing but unprofessional. Frustrated, I called Frigidaire to have them make me yet another appointment (3rd), to find out that they had changed my appointment with West Texas Appliance to another day and time without calling me. West Texas Appliance took my appointment off of their books today and changed it to another day and time, and never let me know a thing! Now that's the way to do business in Abilene. Our Speed Queen washer is simply the best by far of any I've ever had or known about. It is made in Wisconsin and you can tell the quality right away. It is super simple to use, quiet and does not require some special soap. I love the beautiful stainless tub and everything else about it. We will never get anything else and when we need a dryer, it will be a Speed Queen as well. We also got an upright freezer. It is not as big as our old one, but is very well made and has features inside that make it very useful. As beautiful as the washer is, this freezer is just cute. We love it. Lastly, we bought a GE double oven gas range. It is beautiful and everything on it works wonderfully. No longer burning everything, even on low heat and a very less than even good oven, like we had with our, not very old well known brand from China. This beautiful range is also easy to understand as well as working perfectly. We are so happy with everything and look forward to buying some of their beautiful lighting, etc. as needed.
