I have shopped here for years for the exceptional customer service and plant selections. I…read morerecently went to order some dirt, the newest member was not understanding my request. When I tried to explain my request she snapped at her boss "can you take care of her" loudly instead of saying, can you give me a minute while I get my boss. At that point I was so upset, that I did say a bad work ***this I'm outta here. At which time the owner yelled at me for being rude to her worker, as I left she proceeded to follow me to my car and tell me, "never come back here, you where rude to my employee." Instead the boss should have de-escalated the transaction and interved. I know the customers are not always right, but in my profession we always take the side of the customer, as word of mouth can destroy a business and reputation. I apologize for my cuss word, but not for walking out on the business, I went elsewhere to get what I needed, and I won't be coming back to shop, nor will my family, and that is at lest $1000/year.

I have bought numerous plants here as well as a memorial stone for my dog. The employees are always helpful (regardless of how busy they are). They are a great resource of knowledge and also look up answers to my questions. I have purchased watering wands, fertilizer, and planters. Grateful for their service and knowledge.

Home Depot has a great tool rental section. A multitude of items to rent that will make your job or…read moreproject easier. I needed to rent a jackhammer. Went in, did the paperwork, loaded the tool in my truck. That is when I looked at my receipt. It turns out the rental does not include bits. They are a separate charge. SO, they rent you a tool you can't use in less you rent something else. I went home and took care of business and then returned the tool. I told him I only used one of the bits, so he did take off the charge for the other bit. Well, there was also a rental insurance charge on my bill. I asked if this was optional, and he said yes. I was not given that option and was charged for insurance that I didn't want. The point of this is to look at your charges before you sign anything. It will probably save you some money.

Its after 6 pm and called to ensure I could pick it up that evening so the guys could continue working the following day. I called and was put on hold for more than 18 min then when someone went to pickup they hung up. I immediately called back bc its more than 15 miles to drive back into town to pickup this stuff with a trailer. They finally answered and immediately said "please hold" "I said NO bc its been another 15 minutes. Esmerelda said "well you have 3 customers ahead of you" I said "no-I doubt they been standing there for the 30 minutes while I was on terminal hold." She had a shitty, snotty tone with me. I said Ill drive in and the 3 of us can have a discussion" she says "well you just do that" in an arrogant tone then hung up. Now I'm pissed and drove into this hell hole they call HD. I arrive and immediately ask for the manager on duty. Myke finally comes out and now I see the problem with the employees. His attitude isn't much better. I asked him if more than 30 minuets on hold is acceptable? Depends he says. I asked him we need to have a discussion on your employee. He's like "wont do any good to you to say or do anything" and just wanted to get me and my order outa there. Hence the problem-the employees are never held accountable. There was 3 HD employees sitting on stools next to one guy running the cash register. Management failure! Again management is still the problem there! This store has gone thru 4 managers in the short time I've lived near here. I own houses in many different states, used many different HD's and this by far is the worst HD in the nation! I quit using HD for about a year bc of the fiasco when I was remodeling my kitchen, nothing has changed! Shitty customer service Don't answer the phone Management is weak and useless in resolving issues Its been going on more than 3 yrs I lived in the area
