Don't order on line ! I placed order on line 2 days before my moms birthday, Baack sent special email to remind me, received a confirmation email and thought they'd delivered flowers When I called to check where the flowers were after my mom said no flowers had been delivered, they said they didn't have flower i ordered in stock. I asked why they didn't let me know so we could have made a substitution, or at least let me know that they couldn't fulfill order, woman on phone didn't have answer. She didn't offer to make it right just said they'd refund my money in 2-4 business days. They were the best florist in town for so many years, since the 1950s. Now under new ownership. Maybe phone orders and in person orders are ok. read more

For $64, I got a mason jar with a small, crowded bouquet...approximately 12 inches tall to take to a friend, from a group no less!Embarrassing! Took it back and exchanged it for something more in line with other florists. I did appreciate that. read more

I ordered the polka dot and posies arrangement for my mom's 87th birthday to be delivered the next day. My mom said the vase was "busting with flowers" and they smelled so good. She really liked the pinks and all the different flowers in it. Thank you for making such a beautiful arrangement. Update: I was happy with my order last week after my 87 year old mom gushed over how pretty they were. The flowers are pretty, but other than being pink and white, they aren't close to what I ordered. I ordered the small version of the polka dots and posies bouquet which included posies and daisies in a square vase with a polka dot ribbon. The bouquet mom received has pink carnations and white flowers that aren't daisies (not sure what they are). I debated on clicking the button that said no substitutions, but didn't and now I think I should've. Like I said, the flowers are okay, but nothing like what I ordered. read more

YALL! HUGE shout out to Ryan at Baack's Flowers! The father of my best friend in the whole wide world passed away in Abilene. After calling 9 different shops with no answer, I call Baack's Flowers and sweet Ryan picked up the phone and said "How many i help?" From that exact moment in time, i knew i was going to get my bestie the flowers she deserved. He was super knowledgeable and asked specifics. Even offered to send me a pic before hand for approval. His customer service skills are above and beyond, and that's coming from a snooty city slicker like me. =P read more

Everytime my husband has ordered flowers from this company, there has been some sort of issue. One time...the bouquet he ordered was a completely different style vase and flowers from the item delivered and it was a $100 item. On another occasion...they couldn't find his order which was supposed to be delivered between 11:00-1:00 and the employees didn't seem to think calling my husband back in a timely manner was important after he contacted them earlier that day. The whole situation got resolved minutes before closing but only because my husband had to call them back to find out what was going on and the flowers didn't get delivered until nearly 7:00 PM. He spent $130 and got half of it back for poor service. We will not be ordering from this company ever again. read more

I grew up in Abilene and went to Baack's maaaaany times with my mom. It's a great business with a wonderful selection. And then the Internet came along and bit them in the butt. I ordered a miniature rose bush in a cool rectangular container for my mom for Mother's Day. I paid something like $40 for it (delivery included). Less than 20 minutes later, I got a call telling me that they didn't have the rose bush, but could substitute for something similar. Geraniums in a patio pot. I told her to go for it, and I was glad they called. That's the great customer service that Baack's has always had. Awesome. A few days later, my mom sent me a photo of the flowers. She was excited and thankful. No complaints whatsoever. What did she get? Geraniums in a simple plastic pot. One of those crummy terracotta-colored ones that you get on the supercheap anywhere. I'm glad my mom was happy, but I couldn't just let it slide. I called Baack's and talked to the same woman who called me after I placed my order. I told her that I knew that Mother's Day is the busiest season for them, but SURELY there could be a way to remove items from the website if they were sold out. She told me that no florist could possibly have all of the items on a website all the time, but... I didn't order from l 1-800-FLOWERS. I ordered from the Baack's website. It's not a chain. It's Baack's. Shouldn't they have what's on their website? I was told that they've NEVER had the miniature rose bush in the square pot. So what did they do? Just lift a bunch of pictures from other florist websites? Auuuuggggg. I love Baack's, and will surely order from them again, but next time I will CALL. And you should do the same. read more

Great experience with Baack's! I called on Wednesday and ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to my wife's office the Friday before our wedding anniversary. Plans changed that evening and we decided to leave town Friday AM. I called Thursday and asked if they could "short notice" deliver the same day. Without missing a beat they said they would have them delivered that day. The arrangement was very nice and the price was right. Cheryl was very helpful. Highly recommend Baacks! read more

I ordered an arrangement called Beautiful in Blue for my Mom's surprise 80th birthday party. Her favorite color is blue. When I arrived the morning of the party, the beautiful blue vase was switched for a clear vase with ugly blue water (that clashed with the blue flowers). When I addressed it with them, the manager said "Well, we don't guarantee the vase." I stated it would've been nice to know that upfront. There was no apology and they tried to charge me more for the arrangement with the cheap vase than with the vase I had ordered. I argued that they should give me a discount which she finally did but seemed put-out because of it. I definitely would not use them again. read more

I'm pretty sure I let out an expletive when paying out for valentines day. Positive note, my wallet isn't quite as heavy. That said. . . Baack's has been around forever, and there is a reason. They always have great service and quality flowers, gifts, and other sundry items. I can appreciate they are always looking to improve their services as well. Baacks used to be a great reliable florist. No longer. I called them several days before Mother's Day to have an arrangement of red geraniums delivered. Paid over $60. What they delivered was a pot with a variety of annuals still individually potted (?) and no geraniums. I'm puzzled and not impressed. I will not rely on Baacks again. read more

Great service and quality flowers! I have used GreenBox, the online ordering system twice now, and it does not disappoint! I like that the product I see on the website is the product that actually gets delivered. The live cameras in the cooler work really well! I also like that there are a variety of price points available for me to select from in the live section of the website. The service here is great, and if there is an issue with your order, they call you immediately to resolve it. I would highly recommend and will definitely be using Baack's again in the future! read more
