My questions were simple, I paid in advance (a deposit) how is it applied? Do they take off the difference? Or do they reimburse and charge again? She was unable to answer. My guest and I proceeded to compare facilities with other well known spas: Lapis at the Fontainebleau and Tierra Santa at Faena- which charge similar rates. There is only one station for hair drying/makeup in the locker room, the water in my shower was cold, although my guest's was fine. There was constant walking in and out of the Hammam (by the staff) to replenish, you guessed it, towels, which made the experience far from relaxing. For the price I was expecting much more. We ended up leaving early without using all the services, but we did walk to the sauna, which seemed nice, but it was super full, and the ice room, which was underwhelming. With just enough time to undressed and head up to my appointment. They give massages on the second floor, mine was excellent. It was a deep tissue CBD oil massage. That had these loud women, no one ever said anything to them even though there was signs everywhere saying to keep our voices down. I decided I would go enjoy a quiet meal. I went to one of the restaurants in the lobby, the teriyaki salmon bowl was very delicious. Salmon was cooked to perfection. I ate every drop of it. At this point, I headed back to the spa. The women were gone, but it was a little crowded, so I decided to head to the Jacuzzi in the ladies locker room area. The water was very cold not the temperature of a Jacuzzi so I went to the front and let the staff know. She said that she will put in a maintenance ticket about it and so we waited. A lady came in with her man and they both got in. I decided to go in the steam room and almost tripped over the tile. The steam inside the room was good. And most importantly the room was quiet. I wanted to sit out a while and decided to sit on one of the heated loungers, which didn't have an ounce of heat on it. I decided to look around a bit and noticed that this place was just very rundown. They charge a lot of money, but are not putting any of it back into the establishment as far as I can tell. I did not know they shut down the rainfall room, which I was really looking forward to. In the reservation, it tells you that you can sit on the loungers outside by the pool, so I decided to go out there and enjoy the sun for a bit, but of course out there even the loungers that were far away from the pool staff was saying that you had to pay for, and this was not a cabana. I got fed up looking for seats. I decided it was time for me to go back inside and wait for the Jacuzzi to be fixed. Another woman came and got in and said the same exact thing that I had said and went to go talk to the staff an hour later still no one we decided to leave when they asked us how our treatment was we said it was good, but nobody ever came to fix the Jacuzzi. And then the woman let us know that they told her that they would come the next day because they didn't wanna walk in on the women in the dressing room. i'm not sure how that helped the guest that day but OK, she was just never gonna say anything. I'm glad I got to try this place discounted because I would never come back there.
