    Low sodium kosher hot dogs. Nobody has anything as good as Abeles & Heymann!. Plus, they will ship to my home.

    This store works on razor thin margins and if you shop smart, you can save a lot of money. Its…read morestrength is the price points on items indigenous to its predominantly ethnic customer base. This would be produce, fish, Goya line, rice, beans. Like other grocers, it will not be rock bottom on every single item. Not the place for cold cereal, pasta, or non-food items. Outstanding value of frozen whiting fish, greens, legumes, canned fish. The cashiers are a mixed bunch. A few are cordial and professional, while some should not be dealing with the public. Some of the customers obviously grew up without parents, as one woman who cut the line without even asking. The temerity of us to raise an objection. Another customer topped her, by using the cashier as a price checker, then going back to the isles to exchange while we waited. No less than six times. Well, it's her world, I was so thankful to be living in it. Also, note: the store will shut entrance doors fifteen minutes before closing. The security guard is a nice guy. Also, I believe the Mill Rd. store is the smallest of City's, in terms of square footage. I drove by the Elizabeth store, and it looked considerably larger. In conclusion: I would shop this store for certain items, and go early to avoid large check-out lines, that move at a snails's pace.
