Dave rescued me when I needed a ride home after a concert. I rarely drink and accidentally got tipsy off a wine cooler and had not planned on needing a ride home. He arrived within a few min of me calling and was helpful and understanding. I felt safe and comfortable, unlike I've had in the past with Uber and Lyft drivers using their job as a dating service trying to get my number, etc. Dave was friendly and professional and even helped again by driving me back to my car the next day. I don't understand why people on here are complaining about the fees, I found the fare reasonable and worth the peace of mind knowing taxi drivers have been vetted and background checked, unlike Uber/Lyft drivers. I highly recommend Dave for your transportation needs in the future! read more

Very reliable service & I'll highly recommend if your in need of a ride in the Visalia area

Such an amazing experience! My partner and I needed transportation at the very last minute. Not a single Uber was available in the area, and the Lyfts were over $45 for a 3 mile ride. I called ABC Yellow Taxi, and within 10 minutes, our driver had arrived. Not only were they so prompt with their service, I noticed the extra effort that our driver made to get us to our destination as fast as possible to reduce the final fare. He quoted me $12-$18 over the phone, and if I'm being honest, I thought that just meant the ride would cost $18. However, the final total was $12.10! All things considered, the pricing is very fair and transparent. Would definitely go with ABC Yellow Taxi again, and highly recommend it for times when conventional rideshare services aren't pulling through. Just be aware it's not a "glam" experience at all--the utility is in its functionality and pricing. read more

This is for ABC taxi and it's only for Cassie one of the drivers there. I have always had a car also and right now I do not and I've needed rides every day for things and she always is a couple minutes early she will call let you know that she's outside but she doesn't rush you she's talkative if you want to talk if you're not in the mood to talk that's fine and she is so very sweet. So if you need a ride call Cassie at ABC!!! read more

Do not call this company. When my husband and I were coming home from a memorial service the driver got an attitude when he realized I was in a wheelchair. My husband needed to let the bar know to lock the gate they had opened for my chair and he started the meter before he was in the car. Then he was on the phone when my husband told him to turn right and argued with him. They now have a flat rate over what our average ride is. The grey haired latino driver was very rude. Their other latino driver would always try to hit red lights and take a longer ride home. My husband used to drive cab and was always kind to his customers. Going out of his way of his way to be helpful. Maybe we should start our own cab company that cares more about service and listening to the customer. Their only good driver is Cassie. Also, a lot of the time my husband had to put my wheelchair in and they only take cash. We would like an apology but don't expect to get it. Unfortunately they have told us we are 86'd and I have no idea how we will get around. My husband will probably have to push me the mile home in my wheelchair. Here's to a company that has no respect for a senior citizen, handicapped, bereaving person. read more

Poor services. Left a handicap gentleman and his son in front of Winco and refused to pick them back up shame on ABC taxi never use them

Since an Uber ride was 12+ minutes away and I wasn't sure how that would work at the airport, I decided to take a taxi home. The driver was not especially courteous. There was some religious or national symbol with swords hanging from his rearview mirror. He didn't seem to have a GPS, or didn't want to use one, so I directed him at each turn. A couple minutes into the ride he said/asked "So, no one picked you up?" I guess that was his idea of making small talk. When we arrived at my destination, I pulled out my card, and he says, "No cash?" And then acted annoyed that he had to pull out his Square device from the glovebox. It was $12.75 for the fare, and he said "How much do you want to do it for?" I guess that was his way of asking for a tip. I did it for $15, telling myself, at least I'll never make this mistake again. Uber costs about $8 for the same ride, without the weirdness, in a better car, and need to tip. No wonder these guys are hurting. read more

We will pick you up in 10-15 minutes! Yeah sure you will.. Customer service is 0 stars. Too bad there isn't any Completion for them or else they'd step up to the plate!! ABC has been my go to for a little over a year. They have always been so kind and treated me well. Almost everyone that has picked me up treated me like a friend. There was only a couple times I had a 'not so great' experience, due to the fact that they were either new OR just not very friendly people. All aside YES, they are more expensive than Uber... BUT, it's a taxi company. Prices for taxi companies have always been out of this world. Uber is just the new and cheap way of getting around. Doesn't make ABC a horrible company. When it comes to trust, they are both equally as scary. I mean... You're still getting in a car with a stranger either way. Plus! ABC has cameras in the car, if that makes anyone feel a little better. Shout out to: Johnny, Carrie Sue, and Cassie. And the nice guy that works on Sunday's. read more

Do not use this service, they are the worst. I called for a taxi for a family member at 11:30pm, I was told they would send someone right over. 1:30am and still no taxi. I was told; "Oh, we picked the passenger up and dropped them off already." That was a LIE!!! The taxi never showed. These are the words that come to mind when I think of ABC Taxi, Unprofessional, Unreliable and Unconcerned. read more

This company SUCKS. A ride that only cost me $7.50 through Uber is $19 through ABC Taxi. I've been told my waiting times will be 15-20 mins and they've showed up 40 mins to an hour late! Some of the drivers aren't welcoming and act like it's a burden to get you and the rides just end up awkward and uncomfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Uber and Lyft before these guys. read more

Great service driver was super polite and helpful the car was clean driver was very knowledgable of the area would use again!

It was a very hot day and we needed to get to our hotel. Called and was told it would be only 15 minutes. As we stand in the hot sun an hour later, still no cab. I looked up buses and we decided to walk to the nearest bus stop. As we were walking the cab driver called and said she would be 5 minutes. My husband just wanted to wait for the cab so we walked back. We still made it before she did. She pulls up in this crappy old car with the windows down. We had luggage and she couldn't even get out to help us with the trunk. Once we got into the cab it reeked of smoke. Sorry honey driving with the windows down does not help get rid of your smoke. She turned the air on full blast but we couldn't feel anything. I really don't think it worked. I knew were our hotel was by the map and she turned in the opposite direction. She asked where we were from and how the cabs were there. My husband said they take you the long way to get more money. She said she doesn't do that and follows the rules, as she is taking us around two blocks before heading in the right direction to the highway. If she had turned left originally, the highway entrance was right there. She then proceeded to try and be buddy buddy with us, like we are long lost friends. I don't care that if we go down that street and head to the left that is where you live. Or that you are going to see some concert next month. I am tired, hot and choking on your cigarette smoke. I just want you to take me to my hotel. Once we finally get there, she still sits on her butt and doesn't help with the trunk. She didn't even open the trunk, we had to remind her. So not worth it. Unfortunately I know we will have to call again to get to the bus station. That is another review. read more
