We were looking for a party bus type of atmosphere with a more elegant ride and I have to say Exclusive Limousines was the perfect fit. To start out they were extremely punctual and actually showed up a half our early (or more). The driver, James, was very cordial and engaging yet at other times we forgot he was there. He played it perfectly all while making sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our excursion. In fact, at one point one of our friends made quite a mess of things and surprisingly enough James was unfazed by the chaos/mess and took matters into his own hands to make sure the fun continued. The van itself was practically brand new, clean, and well-kept. As for the size there were only 10 of us but there was more than enough space for the 15-person limit would be just fine. I would highly recommended Exclusive Limousines if you're looking for a fun/party like atmosphere as they truly made it an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be rebooking if we find ourselves in the Area again. Five Stars *****

Before our night out on the town, the owner was very attentive and helpful which gave me a little comfort, thinking we would be taken care of. As we were picked up at our final destination to head home. The air conditioning, lights, music, pretty much anything electrical in the rear of the limo was not working. Our drive home was hot as this was during the middle of summer. Let's just say it was a not a perfect ending to what had been a perfect night out. I have tried numerous time contacting the Owner to see what we could do to make this right... maybe credit that last hour that we lost, but all my calls go straight to voicemail. I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else!

One star rating on this particular day. Oh yah, I remember this day…read more Here we go... My car went Ka-flooey on the freeway and I needed to rent a car pronto. My auto dealership no longer provides rental cars due to some taking advantage of that service by trashing and total'ing the cars. Gee, thanks Hyundai customers. So here we are getting back to the car rental place they referred. Ok, getting a car and picking it up was a breeze. It helps to have all your info in order and an established relationship with this shop. Or so I thought. Ok, so since my car issues were covered by warranty so was my car rental fees. Love Hyundai's warranty. So that means I had to return the rental car since the dealership got my car fixed right away. So I'm on the freeway about 15minutes away from their shop and I know I'm cutting it close so I decide to call them to give them a heads up. The guy who answered was like, "Well we close at 5." Me: "I know this, that's why I'm calling. I drove over an hour to get here and I'm getting off the exit right now and I'm basically right around the corner." You know what he asks me? This guy says, "Ok well can you pull over and read me the card info?" Me all dumbfounded and shocked. "Well if you want me to pull over and do all that, you might as well wait me for so it would be easier to just swipe my card." Duh, right? He acquiesced. So since the auto dealership is going to pay for everything, I'm going to get a credit. I have to cover the taxes and some fees, but the dealership will cover the daily rental fee. This guy, not the manager, seemed all pushed out of shape. On a Tuesday? Really? I got my credit, but I was not happy on the inital suggesstion that I pull over off the freeway to give him my card info over the phone. Not concerned at all for my safety, all about money, money, and let's speed this up so I can end my shift type of vibe. I think this guy's customer service skills needs a refreshing and ya'll need to do better for a paying customer with excellent pay history. I'm just saying. See you some more on Yelp 2026, but at this place...I don't know, I just don't know. Time to share....Go.

The building itself…read moreis historic and incredibly unique, with so much character and charm that really sets it apart from your typical hotel. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our entire stay. They truly went above and beyond to make the experience memorable, even arranging beautiful flowers, roses, and a fruit platter as a special touch. It's those little details and thoughtful gestures that really make a hotel stand out. The restaurant on the top floor was amazing! I had breakfast there, and between the food, atmosphere, and excellent service, it was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Another huge plus was the security. I felt very safe and comfortable throughout the property. The parking lot is gated, secured, and accessible only to hotel guests, which provides additional peace of mind. Overall, The Darling Hotel offers a fantastic combination of historic charm, beautiful accommodations, excellent dining, outstanding hospitality, and security. The staff genuinely made an effort to make our stay special, and it absolutely showed. Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something unique and memorable!

The rooms are always clean, the Elderwood is an ice touch, and the vibe is always fun. During this trip, all was fine when what sounded like the HVAC system above our room started to knock. It's an old historic building so, things happen. The knocking though quickly turned into a roar. We contacted the front desk and this is where the true professionalism of the hotel crew, and particularly Maria, shined through. Maria quickly came upstairs, assessed the situation, triaged with other teams inside the hotel, and identified a solution within 20 minutes. Given the scope of the repair was unclear at the time, she moved us to another room and even upgraded us (even though she didn't have to!) for the inconvenience. Things happen, that's not an issue for us, it's how the team addresses them when they come up. The Darling team rose to the occasion with flying colors so seamlessly in this situation, especially Maria. So for us, just underscores a series of positive experiences at the hotel. This isn't an ultra luxury 5-star hotel, so don't come here expecting that. But it's a great place to stay in Visalia with a premium, boutique vibe, great restaurant, and clean well apportioned rooms. We will be back.
