Whether it's party favours for a child's party or more sophisticated deco for adults, this store has everything. Granted, some items are a bit more than you might pay elsewhere (beware the candy!),but it's offset by the variety. You can get literally anything/everything you might need all in one spot, and it's hard to argue with that. I love just going there with a kiddo to pick out a treat (or two or ten). On our most recent trip, we found superhero finger puppets (batman, Capt America, etc) for only 40 cents each. Stick a couple in my purse and the next time we have to wait anywhere, instant entertainment. And, I could not resist a pair of Mario sunglasses that included his red hat and a dangling black moustache ... not for me, stop laughing!! Lots of fun!

I am absolutely willing to give this company another chance, and I am reneging my previous negative review in light of the new information.

We decided to go with a neutral party theme as it was a family BBQ and the kids LOVED IT!!! (Despite the fact that I called her back what seemed to be a million times before I made my final decision). Sorry for the long reviews guys :) My sister got married on my families acreage this summer and we rented tables and chairs from them. When they arrived (early) to set up for the wedding, they where very amiable. The younger gentleman (Donovan I believe... ) was so pleasant. My sister changed her mind on the set up a million times(lol, seems like that runs in the family) because she wanted everything to be just right (you know how brides can be) and Donovan was still able to for fill my sisters every request. I would definitely use them again.

I really love Party City - I would shop here a LOT more if the prices weren't so high. But they carry almost everything you can think of. And they have a great supply of costumes even when it's not near Halloween - which is hard to find sometimes! Along with costumes, they also have a great variety of themed dinnerware, serving bowls, Party Favours... oh! And more balloons than you could ever need, along with Helium. I've never seen so many different balloons... and they come up with some pretty great arrangements for them. The thing that I purchase at Party City more than anything else - are little plastic Dixie cups with lids. I make Jell-O shots for almost every party I go to, and so I usually stop by once every 2 - 3 months for these gems. They're perfect for what I need them for.

In addition to having a few specific rows for Halloween Costumes, the rest of the store is filled with all different types of decorations. I needed 80's decorations for my event and didn't want to order on line so I appreciated that the store shelves were stocked and I could walk out with everything that I needed. I also appreciated that when you buy balloons from them that you get them filled up for free in store. It was super busy so if you just want to walk in and walk out with your balloons already done and not wait, then I would recommend making a pick up time for your balloons. I went in about 3 different times for more options from this store and each time all of the staff was friendly and helpful (even when they were being treated disrespectful by a rather rude customer). I will skip the frustration of the one in south common and make the trip here!

I love that they have a table-making station where you can pair table linens with placemats, candle holders, and other festive decorations, and about a dozen or so tables are all dressed up for inspiration. For most items, you can rent the day before and return the day after, and almost anything about your order can be changed up until 48 hours before the event. That's very helpful for a bride with changing guest numbers!
