I received an email from Dave to visit and also an invitation to the most informative, in person event: a visit with a cooking demonstration. Upon arriving at the showroom, we were greeted and treated to a really special evening. Able to browse at our own pace. Cocktails and snacks too. The appliances and in cabinet setup was very helpful. The most unique part of the evening was the cooking demonstration by Chef Shawn. I love that this business employees a chef full time to use their high end appliances. He is an incredibly talented chef that treated a large group of customers to a three course event. We were blown away by his knowledge, craftsmanship, and dedication. The entire Trevarrow team answered our questions, gave personal usage examples, and helped us understand what we may or may not need in our kitchen. Paid them a good amount and the next day when my mom tried it, the oven was not heating up. Called them and they came back to see what was wrong and charged an extra $300 and a service fee for something that should have been fixed the first time. We have called Ginger Trevarrow 3 times with no response. We would really like an explanation because even looking at the description of the work they have done makes no sense. In one paragraph they explain how "the oven is working properly but the food is not heating up." Would really like a phone call back and an explanation. The worse part of it all is that this my husband's brother's family so it's truly making us question the integrity of the people running this business.

The refrigerator has a slight dent on the back on the service access door. I could pound it out, but I'm not going to bother since it's on the back. Other than that, these black matte stainless steel beauties are wonderful. Even though I spent nearly $4900 on the two, I figured I saved about $1300 if I had purchased locally from a big box store. The tax rate here is around 10%, so that makes a big difference. I'd guess that most of the experiences are similar to mine. Otherwise, they wouldn't stay in business.

Back at your table you'll test, then mix your scents, then make your candle which is all clearly explained by the instructor. Your candle has to set so you're unable to take it with you, so you have to pick it up later or the next day. For those who live far, they do offer shipping for an additional fee. I enjoyed hearing about the owners entrepreneurship journey and why she opened this place. I overall had a great time. I have a Wolf dual fuel range with double ovens and have had 2 other supposed Wolf-specialized…read moreappliance repair services with over $2000 in repair bills which did NOT repair the problems. Both of the other companies charged another service charge when I called back to tell them the problem wasn't fixed. Each time they would send a repair person who "diagnoses" the problem but is unable to fix the appliance (they also repaired my SubZero refrigerator/freezer). This would require ordering parts and they would return up to several weeks later to do the work. Aaron, from Authorized Factory Service, immediately diagnosed the problems with both ovens, explained and showed me the burned out baking elements that were causing the problems, and had 2 updated parts with an improved design to prevent them from shorting out again on his truck. He efficiently replaced them and even showed me a function of the convection choice on my knobs that I didn't even know about. I'm now up and ready for baking Christmas cookies and making my roast for Christmas Day. Thanks to Aaron!!! I will definitely call Authorized Factory Service for all Wolf/Subzero repairs I need in the future!

My washing machine had water and a load in and he went and started and it drained and spun after it had not in my earlier attempts. Repairman said it was working fine and charged me $99. The next day the machine started not draining and spinning again. I called another appliance repairman that a good friend recommended. He ran the machine through several cycles, pulled the back off the washer and advised me that the pump was not working at full power. He replaced the pump and charged me a reasonable fee. The machine has worked fine now over several days and has drained and emptied each wash load. I will not call Maple Applicance again as I feel the repairman did not investigate my washer complaint thoroughly and did not check the pump for proper functioning.
