We were not pleased with the delivery man. Even though he saw what he thought was bugs( they were not) he refused to take it downstairs. The company should stop telling buyers that disposal is part of the service. We will take elsewhere next time. read more

My father in law suggested ABC warehouse after our oven died the Friday before Thanksgiving. We had already been to Home Depot and Lowes, and neither of them could delivery a oven before Thanksgiving, which would not work, because I was hosting and needed to make a turkey. We went to ABC Warehouse and found an oven that we liked, and were a little concerned about getting it delivered before Thanksgiving, the woman helping us was great, and was doing all she could to set up delivery before the holiday. We ended up paying about $600 for the oven, it has an air fryer built in and you can heat the oven from an app on your phone, which is super cool. Being there on a Saturday night they said they should be able to have our oven delivered by Monday, and if not the one we ordered, we had a back up oven picked out that would be for sure delivered by Monday if the first one wasn't going to make it. Sure enough they called us Monday to let us know when the oven would be delivered, (the one we wanted) they got to our house, set everything up, took out the old oven and were in and out in about 20 minutes. We did pay the $140 for the 5 year warranty. They said if they couldn't fix an issue that comes up, they will replace the entire oven. We've had the oven about 2 months now and we couldn't be happier with it! read more

I've had several occasions to visit ABC Warehouse lately. Most recently, I went there because my refrigerator died. I did some research online (at 2:00 am New Year's Day!) for refrigerators that would fit the space I have. ABC ended up having the best price for the size I needed. I walked into the store an was immediately greeted by a new, young salesperson. (Unfortunately, I cannot remember his name.) He was very eager to help me and did his best to find me what I needed. Alas, because he was new, he needed to find someone more experienced. But while he was gone, I turned around and saw the one that I'd seen online. They did try to sell me on a different one, but I didn't want to pay any more, and I didn't want stainless steel. At the registered, the salesperson (a manager, I believe) started to ring up the refrigerator and I mentioned that I'd seen it for $100 less online. He looked it up and said that it was, indeed, still in the system at that price, so he honored it. He was also very concerned about getting it to me as soon as possible and was able to work out a mutually convenient time a couple days later. The only annoying part of this was that they subcontract people to disconnect and reconnect the water lines, so I had to have people come THREE times to get it the old one removed and the new one installed. And, there was an additional charge for this, so the $900 refrigerator/freezer ended up being $1200 after tax, installation & the additional warranty. (I don't usually buy those, but I know that, should anything go wrong with this, it's a big repair bill. And they also have some kind of deal that, if you don't use the warranty in 5 years, you get half of it back as a store credit. In addition to this refrigerator, I have also bought a microwave oven and a mattress & box spring from this ABC Warehouse. When my mattress was showing a huge dip in it after only a year, they arranged for someone to come out & measure it. They (or the manufacturer) agreed that it had dipped too far too fast and they replace the mattress it at no charge. I know other people have complained about this store, but my experiences with the people have been pretty positive. My only complaints are really with the timing of deliveries, which are not always as accurate as promised. Other than that, though, I have been pretty pleased. read more

I have been in this location and made major purchases 3 times in the last year, and I will keep coming back. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and will give you the space you need! In the old days I think places similar to this would do the hard-core sales tactics, but in 2020/21 it's a whole new attitude. Sure they want to sell you products, and to help you be "hands-on" informed , something we just can't get in today's electronic methods of e-commerce. And sure you could hit up a super busy big box or membership store, but you won't get the expertise from people who have answers about little things like what what cool features might just be the deciding point of whether to buy or not. And can we talk prices, I have done a lot of shopping in the last several months for TVs for work and for furnitures for myself, I know my budget, my cap and what others are charging online or in stores, and consistently and time and time again, ABC is at or less than what other prices you will see, they are rarely higher from my experience! Making informed decisions is important, I would research what you are shopping for before going here, and let these folks work a deal for you, show em how you found it cheaper at another store and boom they should beat it. I can't imagine how they survive on market without a return policy??? We bought a dishwasher and after installed, my wife did not like it the way to cleaned. We called immediately the store and they said we can not return even for a store credit. You purchased and you are done, nobody knows you any more, politeness and friendliness with smile is gone and you face now the reality. Imagine 21st century and no return at all!!! It is not worth, will never ever go to this store! P.S. I saw lot of negative reviews here, looks like the company does not care since I have not seen any reply from management or owners. Service fine when buying however trying to return, even inoperable brand new, won't happen even when not working from the start. Dishwasher (highest end LG) hasn't worked even after trying varied detergents & settings. Rewash by hand even after running twice. Went through all trouble shooting in book & online. Told them I wanted to return it. Told I had to call LG for service which is ridiculous for new that doesn't work. Still waiting for LG call back even to schedule service even after going through all with CS. Not confident about service on a brand new machine full of electronics. Manager less than helpful. Sorry I didn't see the other reviews prior. Frustrating & time consuming. VERY UNHAPPY especially after paying extra for their installers. read more

I have been buying from this location regularly for nearly a decade, with my most recent purchase being a dishwasher, so when my microwave needed replacing (again), I didn't even comparison shop but went right to ABC Warehouse. Per current executive order, I wear an extra long veil face covering in public, in a sheer fabric such that those with disabilities are able to read my lips. It covers the entire lower half of my face, and drapes even further halfway down my chest, and complies (per the Oakland County Health Department staff I saw two days ago who did not object to it) with the requirements, and as I stated, allows me to communicate with those who need to read lips. In short, my face covering is both legal and practical. Apparently respect for the disabled community is NOT a priority at ABC Warehouse, because the man wearing a mask UNDER HIS NOSE informed me I could not be in the store without a mask. This came as I was asking for my favorite salesperson. I explained my face covering complied, attempted to explain, and was told I needed to get out. I believe in respecting the rights of others, so I immediately complied without hesitation or argument. The entire exchange lasted under thirty seconds, which was a remarkable time to lose a loyal customer. I immediately drove to a different appliance store where I easily purchased my new microwave without any issues (still wearing my same face covering). Blessed be the new salesperson - since neither of us are sick, we didn't even give each other any viruses while we socially distanced through the purchase, and he even graciously carried it out to my vehicle. It was a shopping miracle. This pandemic will be over soon, but a few moments of disrespectful treatment of a long term customer will not be forgotten. I will be replacing my washer and dryer in the next year, but I will NOT step foot into that store again. The same amount of time could have been spent making a sale - he could have done half a dozen different things, but honestly, I think he just didn't want to work, so why bother doing it when he could critique someone else's face fashion instead? Must be nice not to worry about dealing with disabled people. I definitely won't forget. read more

We wanted to buy a mid-range dishwasher and needed it in a hurry. After standing around a big box store for 40 minutes without service, we gave up. The next morning we met Lyndsay at the Orchard Lake store. Within 15 minutes, we had a dishwasher purchased. In less than 48 hours, it was installed and running in our home. The installers accurately stated the time to expect them to arrive. All in all, a great experience. Next time we need to purchase an appliance, we will forget the big box store and head for ABC! read more

We came into the Farmington Hills location on February 5th, 2021. We purchased four appliances (oven hood, dishwasher, stove and kegerator). We were supposed to leave with the floor model kegerator and dishwasher and have the other two shipped to store two days later for pick-up. After sitting in our truck for over 30 min., we were told the dishwasher was in fact not on-hand but no worries, would be shipped to store with other two appliances. After we had to contact the store multiple times, speaking with both the store manager and our sales Rep (Sammy Batshon), we continuously got the run around relating to expected arrival dates. After much irritation (living without a dishwasher or stove with family of five in our new house), the oven and dishwasher were reluctantly finally delivered to our house on 2/27/21. Where is our hood? Apparently no one knows! We reached out to Sam AGAIN after promising he'd personally deliver it himself on 3/1/21, and through TEXT, let us know it's "in transit, will wait a couple of days to see what happens." It is a MONTH later and we were still having to follow up just to see where our hood is/was? The lack of communication and professionalism is beyond unacceptable. I canceled the hood and we're going to pick one up at Home Depot. Today. I requested a refund and even that couldn't be done properly- I was told I have to physically come into the store to start that credit on my ABCWarehouse account/credit card! I responded with I will NEVER be stepping another foot in that store or spend another wasted minute trying to reconcile this situation. I don't want this to get to a place I have to go up the corporate ladder. It's apparent that this store, including management, does not respect customers...neither their time, money or potential for repeat business or referrals. read more

Got a quote to price four appliances. This was supposed to lock in the price. Went back to order at which the sales person ripped up the old one (I still had a copy) and wrote up a new order. It was $800 more and unfortunately my hands were tied because I needed the appliances. I should have walked then, totally on me. Was told they would honor any price decrease wiithin three months. Of course that never happened. That was supposed to make me feel better about spending more money. I had been in a few other times with a family member. Very quick to upsell and push their credit card and warranties. Will not EVER return. read more

If I could give the 0 stars I woulld!!! This place lies about what they have to sell in their inventory. We were told that they had the washer we wanted available in Southgate and would be able to get to their store by Tuesday and this was the previous Friday. Thing were a little backed up from the 4th of July. We called Tuesday to see what time we could pick it up. They claimed the was a mistake and that washer had been previously sold and they didn't notice the tag. DID THEY CONTACT US, NO!!! But they said they had on in Flint that we could have. Well needless to say 2 weeks after that we are still waiting! It was supposed to be delivered to us today but when we called them they said it didn't make the truck and was at the wearhouse in Auburn hills and it was closed today!! Never nver but anything from them unless they have it right there. I have now waited 3 weeks for it and don't have it, and don't know when to expect it! We could have gotten one straight from Korea by the 18th from lowes wish we had done that!!! read more

Outstanding customer service. Very attentive and accommodating.

The store and the staff fail miserably at customer service and delivering their product and promises. I had ordered a refrigerator in the store to be delivered in a week and a half. I took the day off from work as I was scheduled for a morning delivery. At 11:45 I called and was told they could see that it was scheduled but had no idea why it was cancelled. I asked to speak with a manager and was connected with the sales man, John Tanas, who wrote out my order. He informed me that the delivery date we set was tentative, then to me the order did not come in. When questioned why I did not get a call to reschedule, he said he was on vacation Wednesday and "forgot" to call on Thursday and the day of the expected delivery. He then challenged me "haven't you ever forgotten anything?" He then offered to have the delivery Monday, meaning another day missing work....but wait, there are no refrigerators. I was done, asked for my money back. John had the nerve to tell me I would not find a better price any where else. I was so done with this employee. He took no responsibly and never apologized.
