We were a bit pressed for time, so we didn't get to really look at everything, other than to take a quick look through the warehouse. The warehouse is a real sensory overload. They also have yard sculpture pieces outside that I did not look at. They have good prices on some really good looking cabinets, as well as doors of all kinds. We have a older house, and so will be slowly renovating. DHW will be our first priority of places to come to for that vintage look, as well as the current stuff. Maria was very nice to show me around, and we were stunned at how much stuff they have.

Don't get me wrong, everything looks good, but the quality and craftsmanship of each product is low grade. We had to replace the faucet because the sprayer stopped working. We got a Kohler instead and couldn't be happier. Our farmhouse sink just doesn't drain properly. There isn't enough slope from the 4 corners of the sink to drain downwards towards the drain. You have to use your hand to move any food towards the drain. The Craftsman door though looks beautiful is poor insulated which cheap weather strips, not a tight seal. Here's the bottom line, if you want save a few bucks I guess, and don't care about quality, just looks, then this place is for you and for house flippers who put the cheap stuff in their homes when they rent them or sell them.

GAF Dallas Shingle Plant is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. They pay good but it…read moreis a terrible place to work. It is dangerous and the company does not care at all about you. My advice to you is not to work there. For sure you don't want to quit a job to go there or you will be very sorry. Lies and deception are management's tools at GAF Dallas. The plant is a union plant but the company breaches the contract continuously. You will have no life outside of work if you go there. During the interview process they will lie to you. You will not know about these lies until you come on board. They talk up safety but expect you to risk your life at times in order to keep the plant running. Check out the other media reviews and talk to people who work there. Don't just take my word for it. You will hate it.
