I will definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting great work at a competitive price... On time and on budget!!

We hired Build Strong Construction & Remodeling for a $9,000 concrete patio extension and have paid…read more$8,000. The original concrete installation was defective and had to be demolished after company representatives acknowledged the workmanship issues. Although a second slab was poured, several agreed-upon repairs remain incomplete. Outstanding issues include two damaged fences, dead grass caused by construction equipment and materials, concrete splatter on our home from the first crew, and the expansion/control joint David agreed to install during the second pour that was never completed. For over a week, we made every effort to resolve this matter. Danielle told us the owner would contact us. When we called the next day, another Danielle said she would review our case and call us back. Julie then emailed that someone would contact us to reach an agreeable solution. Instead, David and Daniel called and stated there would be no refund, the remaining $1,000 balance was waived, and the project was considered complete. We repeatedly requested an itemized labor breakdown. The company eventually provided an "itemized" invoice listing: Concrete extension (labor/materials) $5,200; painting/sealing $1,000; sod installation/walkway $1,000; office expenses $500; fuel $350; crew meals $200; handling/equipment/cleanup $250; management $500. We dispute several of these charges, particularly the sod/walkway charge, as we only agreed to sod after losing confidence in the company's ability to complete the walkway due to defective workmanship. We also question charging overhead expenses after having to demolish and replace defective work. We have photographs, videos, emails, text messages, invoices, and payment records documenting the workmanship issues and our repeated attempts to resolve this matter. We request a fair partial refund, compensation for the remaining property damage, and a reasonable resolution.

I appreciated how thorough they were in the planning process which kept everything on track. Or's attention to detail made sure every aspect if the job from tile to drywall to paint to flooring were done with quality execution. Shower, tub, floors, tile, lighting, electrical, tile, fans/vents, painting and more. I give them my highest recommendation. See before and after photos. Excellent communication, beginning with their response to my initial request for information and throughout the whole project. The project manager and even the owner were available to respond to questions seven days a week. At the end of every day they provided a progress report along with what to expect the following day. They made regular visits to my house to inspect the work in progress. Even after completion of the project they stayed in touch to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. All the workers were courteous and professional. Each day they carefully cleaned the work and adjacent areas. At the end of the project a housecleaning service thoroughly cleaned and touched up. It amazes me how other companies and individuals didn't respond to my inquiries or ghosted me after promising to provide a quote. Importantly, ICO is local with brick and mortar offices in the metroplex. I would be leery of all those virtual companies who devote most of their resources to sales and marketing and then sub the work to random contractors.
