This place is the worst. This store was showing they had a limited amount of Crown Royal Blackberry and Crown Royal Salted Carmel in stock. Because these products are selling out so fast I wanted to get there when they opened. I arrived about 10 minutes before they opened, so I sat in the parking lot and waited. The first thing I noticed was the parking lot was covered in trash. (Paper bags, beer cans, etc.) The clerk arrived right at 9am and unlocked the doors and went in. I noticed that he didn't lock the doors behind him so I assumed he was also opening the store for the day. As soon as I entered the store I could hear the clerk yell, "Thanks for waiting until I turn on the damn lights" being sarcastic. I waited at the front door for him to turn on the lights and come back to the front counter. Considering 75% of the liquor is locked up behind the counter, I proceeded to ask if he had any of the CR Blackberry in stock. His one word response was "NO". I also asked if he had any of the CR Salted Carmel in stock. This time I received an angered three word reply "Not in season" This is the worst liquor store I have EVER been to and will not be back. Building is extremely trashy and the clerks are super rude. read more

I've been going here for years. I'm disappointed to see other reviews that are not positive. I've had nothing but polite, good service there. Maybe you get what you give? I've never been in a retail establishment where the sales people have such disdain for their customers. Everyone of the sales staff are incredibly rude & not even a bit professional. The customers don't have access to the inventory so they rely on the sales staff to retrieve their purchases and this causes them to get angry. All of the employees appear to be related. read more

They have pretty much everything! They do have most of the expensive items in a glassed in area, accessible to employees only. If you ask them, they find whatever it is back there. read more

This is a pretty ghetto establishment. They do have a good supply of liquor, but everything costs between $1 and $2 more than any place else (such as Kroger). Their beer selection leaves a lot to be desired as well. The kicker to this place is on top of already being overpriced, they charge an additional dollar to use credit OR debit, which makes zero sense to me. If all other stores are closed I guess this is the place to go. But other than that I don't recommend coming here. read more

This is a supermarket of liquor stores, housing more kinds of spirits than any other place i've visited in Columbus. But I've never investigated their beer selection which is not conspicuous and may not be extensive. I could be wrong on that point, though. The help is friendly and efficient at ABC, though many of them speak little English. They originate from somewhere in Asia. I noticed some very premium-looking tequilas and expensive scotches last time i was there. ABC is a good place to go for a bottle of your old standby or if you want to browse for a new type or brand of poison. read more

I should be thankful that any stores remain open here in the heart of the Northland Hood. I feel safe here, the staff looks like they would open fire at the first sign of any problem, so I haven't seen any gun fights here. They don't accept credit cards, which I think makes them one of the last 2 businesses in the US, but they have their own ATM, that gets them $3 if you use it, so bring cash and they have plenty of plain paper bags to carry out your booze. read more

This is a very large store at the corner of Rt 161 and Karl Road. They have everything you can think of and then some in the liquor department. On top of that they have a drive-through tire store and a place you can rent a U-Haul. I kid you not! The people are nice though and I buy my liquor there, what little I buy. read more

I'm new to the town/ state and was a bit disappointed at the lack of liquor stores in my area so a co-worker mentioned this place to me. Also, I am a bit shocked by how much more expensive liquor bottles are here.... and totally confused why they sell half proof liquor basically everywhere. Disclaimer - her feedback was that this is in a shady part of town and it's not a "good" liquor store, but it does have a larger selection than most. It's exactly as I expected it. It's a fairly small store and the full proof liquor was only one aisle, which was guarded by a guy with a rope. Yes folks, this liquor store has a bouncer. I also made friends with a very nice hobo while waiting for my husband to call me back on what he wanted me to purchase. Sadly, it was just as limited a selection as the other stores I've found and just as expensive. (I think this is just something I will have to get used to.) I probably won't make a special trip to go there again but it served it's purpose and I will have an interesting experience to remember. read more

This is the place to come to when you are looking not only for common items but also for the obscure, hard to find items. They are in a old bank building. The guy running the place was pretty nice but would not make eye contact with you when speaking to you. Made me a little uncomfortable. The place was very dusty and needed a major cleaning. Reminds me of an old gas station that is never cleaned. I would come back but just hope they will clean up a bit. read more

If you go be sure to take gloves and mask or they wont serve you. They act as if there customers are infected ,dirty people they dont want to be around. They were closed for a couple months because they didnt want to have ordinary people around them . I will continue to go to the stores i have been using since abc closed . read more

BAD!, as others have mentioned. People there can not understand you due to not speaking much English. Kid working there who said his daddy owns the place treats customers with disrespect. Prices way too high. Plenty of other better quality stores around in the 614. Shop wisely and buyer beware. read more

This is a great place, friendly service, and the selection is great. When you actually try to hunt down odd liquours and liquers, this place is likely to have it. Ok beer and wine selection as well. The prices are very reasonable, I supplied liquor for a party of 50-75 people for around $160, and that was middle of the road liquor (not plastic bottled vodka). They do take credit card, although I believe they charge a service fee for it ($2?). I just brought cash. Plenty of parking, and they have boxes if you buy a lot of stuff. They also have a large 1/5 bottle selection. read more

The selection there is fantastic. Family owned business. Area is not the best but it's ok during the day. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars are some of the customers are not pleasant to say the least. I try to go there once a month on a weekday before 5pm. read more

It's 9:30pm. We need vodka. The local Shell station has a homebrew, but based on the advise of the clerk ("worst vodka I;ve ever tasted) we decided to move up the road a bit to ABC Liquors. We were unsure of our choice at first when we walked in the vestibule and saw a selection of furniture for sale (GREAT deal on a kitchen table, though) but decided to venture in. And boy are we glad we did! After walking the aisles a bit, we noticed the vodka section. Behind a chain. Apparently we are not enough of a VIP to get the velvet rope taken down, which is the reason I took off a star. After asking several times to be able to go to the vodka section, we were instead directed to the counter, where our Grey Goose vodka was found. The lady who checked us out was very friendly and gave us suggestions on how to properly chill our Suck and Blow shots that we just had to have (we are suckers for Point of Sale add ons). In hindsight, we wish we had bought the 2 for $5.00 Jagermeister shirts-would have made a great Christmas gift for the kids. But we probably will be back soon given the deal they had on microwaves-$35.00!). Hopefully our next visit will unlock the magic and they'll take down the chain for us. read more
