I had some friends that told me about this place. It's my new favorite bottle shop. It's probably the biggest in central Ohio. There's a spot in the back where you can get some beer on tap. The Perfect Pour is excellent. You'll find a wide variety of singles, pre-packs, as well as cold and even some on-draft options. The wine selection is great IMO, but I'm not as well versed on wines. The best part is the staff and owner. You can tell they want to provide top notch service. I've been to a number of craft specialty stores across the US and so many of them just give off this clique/elite vibe. Not here. They want to help and are easy to talk to no matter if you're an avid aficionado, just want a Heineken, or have no idea what you're doing. So this is a brand new beer and wine store. More beer focused than wine. But they have a great selection of wine. I bought two bottles, so not bad. My husband was very impressed and found the Creeper, if you know beer this is a great beer. They had the Rogue beer tasting tonight. And tomorrow is a wine tasting. The best part of this place is Kevin and Mike. They are the most friendliest and welcoming owners I have ever met. They want to get to know there customers and they are sincere. We found this place through a friend who is a beer rep. She knows how much I love beer and told us we should visit. Well, she was right, this place is great! Beer is separated by style/unofficial beer family relationships. Canned beer from the likes of Grimm, Toøl, Mikkeller, Evil Twin, Omnipollo grouped together. You'll find the Belgian styles together as well and so on. There are local beers, Ohio beers, couple states over beers, and some of the more mass produced stuff if you are into that. These folks have 12 taps, plus they're on Untappd so you can see what's on before you head over there with your growlers. Need glassware that is beer specific? Don't fret Perfect Pour has that too. Oh! Not keen on beer? They have a pretty solid wall of wine too. I was able to find a bottle of Cabernet Franc which is hands down one of my favorite grapes (generally found as a accompanying grape in Bordeaux blends)! The folks here are also helpful, especially if you're hands are full. They will take your beer (and wine) finds to the counter until you're ready to check out. (Great for me... Maybe not so great for the wife's wallet.) read more

This place is exactly as advertised. It has a great selection of craft beer and wine! I really enjoy the walk in cooler and had an awesome selection and has two sections dedicated to just Ohio made craft beers! That's pretty exciting. The selection is large and the place is a really really nice. It just opened up and you can tell. There is lots of parking in the parking lot is generally very clean. The front of the store is also clean you can tell that they really care about the appearance of the store. Customer Service is A-1. I was greeted as soon as I came in the door and when I was browsing the selections a guy came over to introduce himself and to make sure that I didn't need any help. He recommended a great beer and was very personable. Everything was very organized and I really enjoyed the flat screen TV and very unique decor. This place really is a one stop shop. They even have baby onesies, shirts and wine bags for a perfect gift. They have a really nice glasses, mugs and shot glasses. They look very unique and the prices are stellar. This night actually had some beer tasting just as we walked in, and I found a beer I really liked - win! ALL THE STAFF is super nice. Beyond helpful, super knowledgeable, and again, super nice, kind, sweet, and just good people. Clean bathrooms & clean shop. Bright lights but I actually appreciated that, kept me focused & awake. I don't know why you're reading a review when you could already be in your car driving to Perfect Pour. You shouldn't need a lot of convincing when I tell you: -They sell singles -They have pretty similar prices to grocery stores -They sell some popular things but also stuff you don't see everywhere (or sometimes at all) -They have wine if you're with someone who isn't into beer -If you don't want the entire four/six pack, you can break off and pay for what you want and they sell the rest as singles -They have unique brews on draft (at the moment Peanut Butter Victory at Sea!) which you can either taste, get a small or a large pour and walk around with it. -They do specific beer/wine tastings -The staff is so friendly and not pushy It's a few doors down from Mongolian BBQ. Perfect Pour has become my favorite beer store in Columbus, and not just because it's directly on my way home from work. It's in a convenient location, just off of Sawmill Road, and they have an excellent selection of beer and wine, but their staff is really what makes Perfect Pour stand out! I leave every conversation with the staff at Perfect Pour feeling like I've learned something new about beer (without feeling like I'm being talked down to) and with a recommendation of a new beer that I'm probably going to love. I love that beer is served on draft so you can enjoy a beer while you shop, which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. Some beer stores make you feel like you need to make a quick choice and get out, but you can tell the staff at Perfect Pour genuinely want you to stay and enjoy yourself. They regularly offer tastings on Fridays as well, which are a ton of fun! I'm so glad they opened and are so conveniently located for me, but even if they were more of a drive, I would want to make the trip to support them. They're really doing the work to educate people about beer and make it fun and accessible to everyone! read more

A great place for craft beers. Visiting Columbus with my daughter and was looking for a nice bottle of wine for our hosts and stumbled upon this place. Was warmly greeted by the owner and asked if I needed help finding something. Since I was also just killing time waiting for my daughter to finish her meeting, I asked about bourbon. He proceeded to tell me that I wouldn't find bourbon there and explained the weird Ohio laws on purchasing alcohol. Even though he didn't have any bourbon to sell he gave me his recommendations on how I could go about finding some "rare" bourbons in the Columbus area. Still I went their for wine and he spent time giving me recommendations of a good red and white wine. Their craft beer selection is top notch and they have quite an extensive collection of German and Belgian beers. I selected from the lone American Trappist beer, Spencer Trappist Brewery. If you are anywhere close to the Sawmill/161 area, you need to get to Perfect Pour. There is absolutely no competition when it comes to the beer selection at this store. During our first visit, the owner gave us a tour of the facility. Newest arrivals are on a table towards the front of the store. There are individual bottles/cans near the front as well. The beer is organized by style of beer, and we spent about 40 minutes browsing around the whole place. They have a good mix of local beer and other well known breweries across the country. You can order a beer on tap in the back of the store and drink while you walk around. They had a limited Wolfs Ridge beer on tap that I sipped on while walking around. They have a decent selection of wine too. My husband and I have been back multiple times since discovering Perfect Pour a few weeks ago. If you love beer, this is the place for you. read more

We stopped for our first visit, after noticing the store front while driving by, a few weeks ago and will never need to go anywhere else. This is hands down our favorite store in Central Ohio (sorry KRM fans... they have rare draft pours available to enjoy while shopping). We arrived close to closing time and were encouraged to come in and stay as long as needed. After our pleasant greeting we were given a tour of their shop and engaged us to help find the beer styles and breweries we preferred. We spent 30 minutes browsing their huge selections, asking questions, and seeking feedback on various breweries we haven't seen before. After landing on our selections they safely packed everything up and helped us carry it out to our car. Seriously!?! These guys rock! This place is a beer lover's dreamland. There are so many types of beers! You name it, they have it! I stumbled upon this place when I was out shopping. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and was even given a tour. They separate their beers based on types. They even have a beer cave. The people who work here are incredibly knowledgeable about the different selections they offer. It's like a candy store for adults! I just left this place. I've been a huge sour kick for awhile now and I can't find any in Kroger. Normally I go to Savor Pint but they're singles selection is kinda small. My friends told me about this place and it did not disappoint. Kevin introduced himself as soon as I walked in. I was a little bothered at first because I just wanted to browse but I'm so thankful for his place. This place is huge and full of beer. He wanted to know what type of sours I liked so I told him the name of one of my favorites and he walked me around the store and pointed out similar sours. I am not disappointed. I spent $52 in beer and it's totally worth it. Apparently they operate on word of mouth alone which is so cool. They have a ton of singles. And they have an entire cooler of local beer which is terrific! The prices really aren't bad either! I will be back! This is my new favorite place. I highly recommend. Husband and I stopped in yesterday and were amazed by the variety in this place! We've been disappointed in the beer selection at our local grocery stores lately so seeing several new beers (to is at least) was exciting. Mikey was working and was super helpful, explaining that the selection will increase in the coming months. He gave me a tour of the space and I'm looking forward to coming back and enjoying a draft or two in the future.
