Last time I stopped by I was looking for a sweet red wine but unfortunately the distributor is having issues so I have unable to locate that specific one. But the staff member working was very helpful and asked if I would be open to trying something different and gave me some recommendations. I thought it would be nice to try something new so he gave me a German sweet red wine to try. I will definitely be coming back again soon. I plan to start coming here more frequently whenever I need to grab some beer or wine.

They still have a huge selection of craft beer, but these days 90% of the beers on their shelves don't have a price on them. This is a critical issue with craft beers when a 6 pack could be $12.99 or $24.99 depending on the type of beer! They need to go back to properly labelling their goods because it's much harder to shop here now without the price tags.

We walked in - the place was devoid of customers - and the bar tender was NOT happy to see us. She had a very long day - and was yearning to "Just. Go. Home." We've all been there. She agreed to let us have one drink in plastic cups - completely understandable. But she messed up by letting us stay - completely underestimating the level of style & charm (not to mention handsomeness) my colleague and I possess *wink* . "One drink" turned into a handful. A good time was had by all. We hated that we had an early morning the next day - and had to return to our hotel well before we would have liked. I will make North High a "mandatory stop" on future visits (alongside my other "mandatory stop" - The Rusty Bucket for their buffalo chicken sandwich - with an extra side of buffalo). Side note - she gave me a taste of their Bloody Mary mix. *VERY* good. I used some of my dashing character and disarming baby blues to swindle them out of a bottle for only $15. It was worth $50. The tavern is housed in a historic building that is over 100 years old. The building itself was worth the trip. The food, however, was the real highlight.
