Adam, the owner lied to me from the first time I spoke to him on the phone, and he never stopped. When I called, he told me that he had some granite for $25 per square foot, including installation. When I arrived, the price went up to $35-$40. The day of the installation, Adam wouldn't give me a timeframe for the installers arriving. I asked 3 times, and he ignored my correspondence each time. Finally, I called him after I ate lunch, and he said that they were 10-20 minutes away, and he insisted that I had to be there the moment they arrived (I was 30 minutes away). Literally 1 minute later, my general contractor called and said that the granite guys arrived and needed me to be there. After the guys worked for a couple hours, they told me that they didn't have the correct sink for the install and they said that they would have to finish the install the next day. When I spoke with Adam, he tried to blame me. He said that I never told him that I needed a small sink. I had provided them with the exact deminsions of all of my cabinets, and his associate said that they would get the correct sinks, but Adam blames everyone but himself for the error. Later in the day, I noticed that the plywood on my bar was really wide. I measured it and found that it was 16 inches, when my original drawing indicated that it should be 12. This was a big issue because the bar sticks out into the hallway, and it was already hard to move furniture past it in the past, so loosing 4 more inches would have made it impossible. I talked to the guys doing the install, and they said that they couldn't cut it to 12 inches and finish the piece because Adam wouldn't pay them for that. I tried to call Adam on his cell phone (which he stopped answering after I became a customer), and I called the store looking for him, but he was not available. Shawn, one of the sales people, took the message and said that he would get with Adam, but I never heard back. After working two half days at my house, the installer still wasn't done. He told me he would come back Saturday or Sunday to finish the job, but he never showed up. When I tried to get a hold of Adam, he ignored my phone calls and text messages. When we first ordered the granite, we told them that we had a party scheduled for 1 pm on Sunday, and we needed the granite installed by then. Both Adam and Shawn said that wouldn't be a problem, but by time our party started, we had half of our kitchen finished. Overall, this has been a horrible experience. I could have paid literally and extra couple hundred and used contractors at Home Depot or Lowe's, and had a much better experience. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Horrible horrible experience. Adam the owner told me lies from the beginning. If you want the tile you ordered please don't buy from this guy. Please don't buy from Adam at US Flooring Kitchen and Bath store at 8000 Gulf Freeway in Southeast Houston. He will tell you anything you want to hear and he can't deliver. I purchased almost $6000 worth of tile and installation services from this store. The only reason I was going to allowed him to do the tile was because he said he had tile installers working for him. He does not. These people are contractor that have their own business. He just overcharges what they charge and takes a cut off the top. I purchased tile in Friday 7/27/18 with the promise that it will be delivered and begin installation on Monday 7/30/18. About $400 work of tile and the bags of thinset that I ordered was delivered. One of the tiles he sent was completely wrong. I ordered a black slate and he delivered a brown tile that is not slate. The boxes were nasty, busted open and incomplete. I have included pictures. By Wednesday morning it was clear that Adam didn't have the tile I ordered so I called him to cancel the order. He refused to cancel it even though he could not get it to me. Adam seems to purchase much of his tile from Tile Center on the Gulf Freeway just miles from his store. My building is not even occupied at this time but Adam sent someone from Tile Center to just drop tile at my front door in lower 3rd ward and left it unattended. People were trying to steal the tile until my neighbor called me to let me know what US Factory had done. On top of that, the order was still wrong. I ordered 50 boxes of tile and he only sent 21 boxes. It was suppose to be a green tile but Adam sent two different kinds of tile. I have disputed this with my credit card company because it is obvious this man Adam and this company US Flooring Kitchen and Bath does not have any morals. Please don't buy from this company. Now that the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving is behind us. I want to give thanks for the wonderful people at: US Flooring Factory Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry, Building Supplies, Carpeting 8000 Gulf Fwy Houston, TX 77017 Two weeks before Thanksgiving I was informed that the holiday would be hosted at my house. (My husband is always volunteering me for last minute things.) We bought a fixer upper last year and there is no way it was ready to host friends and family for an elegant dinner. I was franticly calling everyone from Houston to Galveston to find a company that could help me with my flooring needs as well as cabinets and if the price was right and I could stay within my budget, I would love to have Granite countertops as well. Everything was installed and cleaned up before my big house debut on Thanksgiving. The US Flooring Factory did an amazing job! From my first initial phone call to my complete installation, I experienced exemplary customer service. I was very impressed with the knowledge of my salesperson. We went to the Friendswood store on Saturday inquiring about a Granite counter top and wood flooring in our dining room. We are on a tight budget because we have two children in college and one special needs child that my wife stays home with. Our sales representative was at our home promptly at 9am Monday morning as she promised. The entire measurements and looking through the samples and agreeing on a price that was more than affordable for my family. (Please check them out. The prices for the Granite are very good). Installation day was done on the following Tuesday They were promptly at our home by 8am and completely finished cleaned up and out the door by 7pm. We have had so many compliments on our counter tops and flooring from everyone from our pastor to my wife's book club. My wife and I drove all over Houston looking for a place to replace our counter tops with granite and on our way back home we spotted this place right under our nose in friendswood. It was 6:15 when we pulled up and thought that they would be closed but to our surprise they were open. We walked in and they helped us pick out a pattern we were very pleased with. We asked when can they come out to do the measurements and Ali said today...Wow! Since we were right around the corner he came there before 7:00. He took the measurements and said that it normally takes 2 weeks to get it scheduled and completed. He called an installer and they said that they can do it in 2 days...Awesome! Let's do it! Ali even offered us an undermount sink for their price which was cheaper than Lowe's or Home Depot. We put down a deposit and when they finished the work we gave them the remaining balance. Great Experience! It is a must to visit the showroom. They have such a large selection of granite, flooring and cabinets. The manager was very helpful in my selections. He was very honest by telling me what the best choices were for my flooring to weather my three small children. Their prices beat out three other competitors including the national chain, HOME DEPOT. Not to mention they were able to measure and install in a 1/4 of the time it was going to take my other inquiries. We are very happy with our purchase and installations. A nightmare turned into relief when I met Granite, Cabinets, Flooring and they took ownership of my floors previously refinished by an incompetent contractor. My Brazilian cherry wood flooring was refinished by Granite, Cabinets, Flooring. They were detail oriented considering the hard to reach places in my home, under the kitchen island and elevated cabinets. He helped select the oil and finish, with actual samples placed on the floor to help me decide. He knows floors, and has an excellent team.
