The tile work was clean, precise, and beautifully finished. The lines were so straight they made the rest of my house look nervous. Jorge also kept the work area organized, cleaned up afterward, and made sure everything was completed the right way instead of rushing through the job. It is difficult to find contractors who combine quality craftsmanship with good customer service, but JC Castillo Tile delivered both. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality tile work in the Houston area.

I was very nervous about the job we hired them for because there were several spaces in the house that we wanted different patterns, tile and grout colors. This work was very detailed and could have easily been a bad situation. I knew we needed someone with the SKILL to complete the job right. This team not only exceeded my expectations in the work, they were on time, considerate, knowledgeable and worked with me on my preferences. They were also priced right. Not the cheapest, not crazy over the top expensive. Work top quality!! 100% recommended and 100% will hire again!!

He walked me through every flooring option relevant to what my husband and I were looking for to replace all the carpet with in our new home and even provided on the spot ballpark estimates and encouraged me to take flooring samples, which I did! As soon as we made our final selections he moved quickly to ensure the new flooring could be completely installed before moving any of our stuff in. The installation team, led by Alejandro, did a tremendous job that completely transformed what was already our dream home! Honestly the floors are stunning. And with 2 large and rowdy dogs and a toddler, the floors have proven near indestructible and a breeze to clean and maintain. Can't wait to work with this company again in the future! Thanks again guys!

I could not recommend them more highly. We had a bit of a tricky install because we were adding on to existing wood floors. The crew did an awesome job and were able to integrate the new flooring without the need for transition strips. Their tile work was exceptional as well. On top of all that, they were courteous, hard working, trustworthy, and clearly took a lot of pride in their work. Review #1 From the start, Colby at Flooring Warehouse was responsive, helpful, communicative, and professional. He made the experience of replacing all the old, dated flooring in our 1970s townhouse seamless and painless. The end result is a mix of tile and hardwood and looks fantastic!

Granted the place from the outside is not very appealing but once inside you will see rows and rows of tile. We had a sample of a glass backsplash that we really liked and showed it to a gentleman by the name of Mohammad. He called his distributor to see if he could get it and he was able to get it and at a better cost. Mohammad personally came and measured and gave us a few pointers about the installation. The backsplash is beautiful and we will definitely deal with them again.

Tile Co. had the better deal one of the products and offered delivery for the items we wanted. The first salesman we worked with was initially pleasant and knowledgeable; but he decided it was a good idea to sale us tile that was not in inventory and not advise us. My husband paid in full for the flooring that Saturday evening and was told to come back the next day with my father in laws truck. We purchased a less expensive tile for the kitchen, bath/laundry, dining, and bedrooms; and a more expensive tile for the living room. My husband showed up and more than a fourth of the order was not available. We not only purchased the tile, but we purchased the entire flooring system (grout and cement). After not wanting to take responsibility for the initial greedy and grimy actions and mistake they promised to have the rest of the supplies by Monday. My husband returned home with majority of the less expensive tile and only 12 boxed (we ordered 29) of the more expensive tile. Monday came; only about half of the supplies that we were pending were delivered. Tuesday through Thursday my husband spent many hours on the phone and at the store with no resolution. Friday, what we thought to be the last of the tile was delivered. Exactly a week from the purchase date, Saturday (10/28/17) my contractor started my living room floor. He was able to lay the 12 boxes we carried home in my father in laws truck with no problem, but was unable to lay any of the other tile for that room because all boxes other than the first 12 were a quarter inch bigger. At this point the Store Manager is frustrated and raising his voice every chance he gets. During this time the manager on several occasions talked disrespectfully to my husband, raised his voice, ignored my husband's calls, and still failed to resolve the issue. My husband warned me and told me not to call or go to the store and allow him to continue to handle it. The manager made the issue ten times worse than it had to be because he was so irritable, short tempered, and nonchalant to his customers' needs. He even went as far as raising his voice at me while swinging his hands and fingers all over the place! He basically showed me that in THAT store the customer is not right even when the sales rep creates the issue. I would never recommend this store to my worst enemy. Go to Floor and Décor! They have the same tile with a lot less stress. When I visited there they were very honest from the beginning advising I would have to go to a few stores to complete my order had I went with them. Because my husband is such a settle minded firm man that cannot be broken....... Resolution: We were able to choose a different tile and refunded a portion of our initial payment to put towards our contractor because his fees would apply for removing and replacing tile. Though I can't rate this corporation highly, I must acknowledge the good as well as the not so good. There was a gentleman who DID help resolve the issue and overrode the managers' directives. (Not sure of his name but he was a slimmer and tall guy.)The tile at this location is very nice, nicely prices, and has quality products; but they must learn how to treat customers. Maybe an office wide Customer Service Etiquette Course once a quarter would help!

In the midst of our research of local shops we landed in the Floors for Living on 518 near Pearland Parkway on October 6th. Joel, the store manager, spoke with us about some options, gave us a rough estimate based on the information we provided, and then took our information to follow up with us over the next week. When he called to follow up several days later, we informed him that Floors for Living was still one of our top contenders, but that we were waiting for some additional estimates. We went back to the store again that Friday, October 11th (Joel was not there) and spoke with a helpful salesperson to help us narrow down flooring options and ask some additional questions. This gentleman was extremely helpful, and we even heard him working with another couple and clarify to them that in coming out to measure their home, they were in no way wasting anyone's time and that it was a complimentary service and not a commitment to move forward with Floors for Living. We then returned to speak with Joel that Sunday (10/13) after deciding on the exact product we wanted and get pricing based on this. Joel said he could get pricing on the product and offered to set an appointment to come out and measure to ensure his numbers were accurate - we set up for him to come out that Tuesday (10/15) after we got home from work. Joel came to our home and measured. After he was finished, we went over the numbers and I asked him what the next steps were if we decide to move forward. He looked a bit bewildered and held out the form and indicated that I sign the form. I reminded him that we were still waiting on one additional quote from a company my in-laws have used for over 20 years, but that we would have a decision for him in the next day or so. The look that came across Joel's face was that of utter disgust. He then stated that this was "not what he understood" and then pretty much got out of our house as quickly as he could. On that Thursday, he text my husband about updated pricing. My husband and I reviewed the two companies we were deciding between (still including Joel's quote despite his attitude at our home). We decided upon the other company, but that we would likely use Floors for Living to replace our carpeting in our four bedrooms during the first half of next year. My husband responded informing Joel of our decision, to which he received the response (typo's and all) "I do not appreciate you telling me you were good with the price on the phone. You are a liar. If you really want carpet then you measure it and walk in my fromt door with you credit card in hand". Well, needless to say we will not be using Floors for Living ever and have also shared the information with all of our friends and family about the horrid way that Joel treated us. Of course, it is okay to be disappointed when you don't close a sale, but to be hostile to folks who invested just as much time to make the appropriate decision on a reputable company? This absolutely blows my mind. I attempted to reach out to their corporate number and left a message but have yet to receive any response. I guess that speaks to the integrity of the company itself. We will happily take our money elsewhere.
