Change the name from Abby's Legendary Pizza to had Abby's Legendary Broasted Chicken and Spuds. They also have sandwiches and other things. I ordered a bunch of chicken and potatoes for friends from out-of-state and it was so good, they wanted to order it again this visit! The chicken is super crispy and very moist inside. I think they broast the potatoes, too, because they have the same crispy outside and tender fluffy potato inside. I ordered on the phone so have only been in once. Chris took our very complicated order and made it work. Thank you for the super service. The restaurant looks like a pizza parlor. It is nice with a long bar for sending out pizzas and drinks, long tables and chairs for customers and a little game area for kids or kids at heart. Food was good! Manager was very polite. Rest of the staff is questionable! Watched a staff member let a Dog from the lobby lick her hands she returned to the kitchen didn't wash she just put gloves on and made a salad.. Other staff was touching there phones, faces and or hair no washing of there hands.. A little grossed out.. Men's bathroom looks like it has not been scrubbed let alone cleaned in years.. read more

My son who had been visiting from Ca. was waiting to have an Abbys Pizza Unfortunately, this experience was not like the first. The first we went and ate in, and he was very pleased to have such great Pizza! This time we decided to take out and he went down there in the allotted time and picked up the Pizza. It was cool, looked like it had been sitting around for a while and did not taste fresh. Fifty dollars later! Service was poor. Employees who deal with the public seem angry and unhappy. I'm not sure if it was that these particular employees didnt like the way I looked. But I saw the stark difference in the way they stared at me and glanced at others. Not sure if the stares were to purposely make me feel uncomfortable but it worked thus I could not eat the food they prepared and served me. Food was not the best and it was a simple pepperoni pizza. The thin crust tasted doughy. Very different than the other abbys I visited with my in laws the day before. I will never return to this location. read more

As an OTR trucker we have very limited places that will deliver to truck stops. I called them up as I was out of hours to drive and didn't want fast food in the Loves. They brought my pizza right to my truck super hot and fresh within 20 mins. This is the best pizza I have eaten in years! Tons of toppings chirp crust too. Thanks you very much! I always get the spinach salad but the past few times the bacon has been so tough and they forgot the peppers, then the 2 go box is either a pizza box or 2 small containers, portions are much smaller than what you pay for. Wow is all I have to say, We have purchased Abbys for years. Tonight I was told I did not order half of what I had called in for. Yet I was told the balance was for what I had originally ordered. I called and said we did not receive what was ordered and was told I did not order what I had ordered. Well call me a liar or pull your calls. I know what I ordered. Well, I am thankful that in the city of Winston Oregon we have three pizza parlors and Abby's at the moment rates at #4. Grocery Outlet has better service and you get what you pay for. This Abby's makes me sad. I grew up eating Abby's and remember how truly special their pizzas used to be. Their pepperoni pizzas were fabulous. The pepperoni had a hint of heat that made it stand out from the crowd. Now Abby's just sells really overpriced run of the mill pizzas. The lack of quality just doesn't justify the price they now charge. I'd rather remember how good they used to be instead of choking down another one of these. Dear Doug P. from Abby's: thanks for trying to sell more mediocre pizzas by commenting on my feedback. Putting toppings to the edge really doesn't buy you anything if the ingredients are a) boring; b) bland; c) greasy; and d) old tasting. Abby's pepperoni USED to be interesting, spicy, flavorful, fresh, and less greasy than most. An overpriced mediocre pizza is still an overpriced mediocre pizza no matter where you put the toppings. The pizza dynasty Abby Broughton built was based on quality in all things - especially ingredients. It's too bad Abby's is forgetting that basic premise. Update: Came here with friends for dinner. They ordered the chicken and jojos. The chicken arrived running blood on the plate. They offered to remake the chicken but our friends declined. Have grown up eating Abby's Pizza before any other pizza restaurants were available. Moved to Winston and the Abby's here continues to sustain Legendary Pizza, on time deliveries and very hot n tasty food. When I'm craving GOOD pizza and not cheap cardboard pizza, I only call Abby's. They have TONS of toppings. On a Domino's or Little Ceasars you get like 7 pepperoni's. On an Abby's pizza you get hundreds AND the pepperoni isn't store bought stuff, it's got spice which tastes OH-SO-AMAZING! Love the Hawaiian and of course the Abby's Special one of my favs! The Jo-Jo's and RANCH make it all the better for our family of 10. They've always done a great job at the Winston Abby's! read more

There was nothing legendary about this place. The pizza was barely better than frozen pizza. The employees were rude. There were druggies hanging out in the front and one passed out at a table. Very disappointed in the management of the Winston Abbys. Tonight my husband and his brother went in at 8:45 and was told they can't order anything because it was 15 minutes before closing time. They called the Roseburg Abbys to see how late they were open and was told 10:00. So they placed their order over the phone and drove into town for dinner. When they got there, they told the employee about the Winston store not taking their order because they were closing soon. The employee told them as far as they know, all the Abbys are supposed to be opened until 10:00. This is the second time we experienced unwelcome attitudes from the Winston store. A few weeks ago we got in there at 8:30 and they kept saying what time they are closing. The guy acted like he didn't want to give us drink glasses because even after I said we're eating there, he kept repeating closing time, and then they brought us our order in boxes. We weren't the only ones in there and at 5 minutes before 9, the guy announced that he needs to lock the doors. We were still eating so as someone who used to work in the restaurant business, I was not gonna pack up my dinner and leave so he can lock up. There were plenty of tables that needed cleaning and the carpet was very messy. There was no reason to rush your customers out the door when it was obvious that you were going to be there for a while cleaning up the lobby. Unless they don't clean it at all and leave it for the next day, I don't know. Seems like no matter what time we have gone in there, there's always dirty tables and no one comes out to clean the whole time we're there. I truly hope this gets addressed and resolved. Theres no reason to turn away customers during business hours. Even if its 15 minutes before closing time. You'll lose customers if it keeps happening. read more

Easily the best pizza in the area. Crust is always crisp (which is my personal preference), the staff are always friendly and accommodating. We live well outside the the delivery area but since it's really not that far, they deliver to us without question. The salads are great and they don't skimp on the sauces. My bottom drawer in my fridge is full of their white sauce (I love it). The chicken garlic is delicious and has whole roasted garlic cloves. My boyfriend won't kiss me after eating it, but my stomach's happiness makes up for it. The broasted chicken and potatoes are really yummy too, if you're looking for a non-pizza item. All in all, it's a pizza joint that has unique offerings. For the Winston area is easily the best (which is why it's getting five stars). Everyone seems to have pretty exaggerated expectations of this kind of establishment and it's silly. Not sure what you're really expecting from a pizza joint in Winston, I mean it's a pizza joint in Winston. They're definitely ahead of their local competition. I know everyone is familiar with Abby's but we are new to the area so I'm enjoying it over Pizza Hut/Dominoes that were the only two choices at are previous residence. And it certainly tastes better. Update..... Came in today for a to-go pickup, upon them giving me the pizza, I looked at it and it was wrong, they accidentally mis-read the order ticket, the manager, who was really great, gave me the first pizza at no charge, and re-made the pizza correctly, also offering me a beer on the house while I waited (had to decline the beer because I had to later attend employment). The resteraunt looked well kept, amd I always look over the salad bar when coming in, it looked good. Great customer service to a loyal customer, and.....still great pizza!!!! read more

I love Abby's Legendary Pizza. Any time I'm in southern Oregon, I make a special stop at one of their stores to have great pizza. The crust is made in store with the right consistency, between thin and regular with a little crunch. The lunch time special is a personal pizza and drink for $7.25. That's a pretty good deal to me. The only draw back is there are always a bunch of screaming meme's in the place but, it's a pizza place and they cater to families. It kinda comes with the territory. read more

We were driving through Oregon to get to our new home in Washington and after a 15 hour drive from California with two little kids, everyone was hungry and tired. This place not only had grey customer service and polite delivery people but the food was great. I got a Hawaiian pizza and a salad. The only negative was that it was not hot when it got to us but let's be honest it's super cold outside so it probably made our pizza on the colder side. We've been eating Abbys pizza since I was a little kid. The chicken and spuds are good and the pizza is average. It's one of the few businesses in Winston that deliver so we use them for that. The prices are pretty high for what it is. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is a good place for parties or large groups. The service is good. read more

This was a nice gem to find. We ended up ordering 3 small pizzas to get a variety of tastes. Each and every one was pretty awesome. I was a huge fan of the garlic chicken one (i forget the name). I find this very unfortunate that I have to write this and moreover, appalled at the behavior I encountered at Winston's Abby's pizza place last night. I know for a fact that Abby's pizza in Myrtle creek has been a great contributor to the homeless population. However Winston's Abby's pizza acting women manager on duty on 09)23)2017, appears to need some customer service training and taught some empathy, if possible. She not only lost the company money from me, she is the reason this review is being written. I went in last night to order take out at the end of the evening. There was a gentlemen that stepped in front of me and asked her if there was any old pizza because he was hungry and has not eaten all day. The manager said, absolutely not and get out of here..I finished my take out order and said to her, I also want a medium supreme pizza for this gentleman and gave her my debit card to complete the transaction.This manager told me to leave the building and she cancelled my order. Adding that we don't serve "those" people. I really can not tell you how long I stood there in awe, but it must of been too long because she said, LEAVE MY BUILDING NOW.
