I've posted a review about this place before. We have been in here many times. It's one of our favorite places good food and even better prices. This place is awesome but tonight I must say it made me smile. The owner mopped and swept the floors which to most isn't a big deal but to me that shows appreciation. Food was good and the hostess along with our waitress were very nice. Their new location is much better and can accommodate more people.

Myself and a friend stopped here for lunch the other day. I had noticed it and how busy it was all the time so I decided lets go there. The staff was great. The food was really good. I had the half salisbury steak dinner and it was great with fresh mash potatoes and my friend had a sandwich which was excellent. We will both be back there for sure read more

Stopped by for an early breakfast Saturday morning. Only a few oldsters in the place. Nice and quite! I love eggs Benedict, so figured I'd order those. Came pretty fast, definitely hot. Eggs a little over cooked, maybe by about 15 seconds. English muffin was toasted perfect. The hollandaise was okay, a little thin, and no slight lemon flavor. Maybe they don't do lemon in their hollandaise? Overall, appears to be a good place for breakfast. read more

Excellent food and the service is always great. Very nice menu selections for breakfast, lunch, dinner. We often eat lunch here after going to church on Sunday. A nice family type restaurant and it's quiet enough so you can actually have a conversation. Have eaten here many times and will return again. read more

I work down the street and will order takeout from time to time! The spinach and mushroom omelette is delicious! The customer service here is fantastic. They're always very kind and accommodating. My coworkers always love the food they order. They're really quick and the food is always ready when I arrive which is awesome because I hate wasting my lunch break waiting for food that is already supposed to be done. Abby's cafe is a great little family owned business with absolutely great breakfast, and the prices aren't bad. You get what you pay for and this is good food. Also they have great customer service. read more

LOVE this place... Use to have breakfast here every morning before work. My father & grandfather are there just about every morning. The staff are awesome & the owners are Great people . After years and years of driving by this cafe I decided to give it a try. It kind of tucked away at the end of a strip mall. I'm glad I did because this home style cafe with a greasy spoon short order vibe was well worth it. The portions were large and flavorful. The service was the icing on the cake. Our server was Maria. Considering she was busy and alone she was pleasant and attentive. It's not a big place. The seating area is about 600 square feet. Although the dining area is small it has an open feeling. The food was well prepared and you can tell the ingredients were quality. They don't skimp or hold back. I ordered a BLT and unlike 85% of other restaurants you got a good amount of quality bacon. You do pay more then other cafes but you get much more in return. The place was clean and fairly well kept. I gave Abbys Cafe 4 stars. I didn't give then 5 stars only because the ambiance wasn't that if a a 5 star cafe. However if I rated cafes solely on food and service they would of got 6 starts. With that said I'll be visiting Abbys regularly when they are not busy. read more

We are locals always looking for a new place to dine. On a friday night at 6:30 pm not wanting to wait for an hour to eat we thought lets try this diner we've driven by for over a year. We were were very pleased with our experience and meals. Large portions, friendly staff, and family friendly atmosphere. Will be adding this to our list of favorites. For those wanting more of a home cooked meal - this is absolutely a great choice. It is a family owned diner, and you can tell by the pride this diner takes in friendly, fast service, great menu choices and great prices. Great choice for those heading up the mountain to Idyllwild. If for some reason, you're in Hemet and looking for a good breakfast, Abby's Cafe is the place to be. I first have to ask you, what in the heck are you doing in Hemet? JK. This is one of the best breakfast meals we have had in a long time. The corn beef hash is amazing, chicken fried steak was great and the pancakes were superb! The service was excellent and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Hemet, which will probably very soon. read more

This is an absolutely incredible coffee shop type restaurant at the eastern end of Hemet. The service is wonderful, but let's face it, we go to a restaurant for the food. It's incredible! We have a breakfast group that has been going to Abby's for a while. Everything everyone in our group has is deemed delicious! I generally order a short stack of blueberry pancakes. Mouth watering! Nice little family restaurant. The staff is great. Not a large menu but they always have daily specials at a reasonable price. We usually go for breakfast. It can get very crowded Sunday mornings but they get you in pretty quick. I would recommend this place to friends and family. read more

Ordered takeout. The Monte Cristo sandwich had a very strange taste to it. I am not sure if they made it on wheat bread or what they dipped it in but I took two bites and could not eat any more. It was horrible. I got the country potatoes and some of them were not fully cooked. Really disappointed. read more

Easily the best breakfast place in town. You are welcomed when you walk in and given a menu right when you sit down. The servers are personable and helpful. I love the omelets - but a must try are the sweet potato pancakes. Coffee is always fresh and hot, and the corned beef hash is delicious. Give this place a try. You won't be sorry! read more

I absolutely LOVE Abby's Cafe! Best breakfast and service! I'm always impressed with their staff, we are a family of 5 and even if its packed it never takes more than 5 minutes for them to accommodate us :) We visit Abby's every weekend and they never disappoint. The food is always so good and very generously portioned. We love the Meat Lovers Omelette & The California Omelette. In all honesty, Great restaurant! Must try it :) The staff is extremely friendly to the kids and I honestly do not comprehend the review stating "they don't like Mexicans"? That's a very IGNORANT thing to say as My family and I are very MEXICAN and we get great service week after week :) Best Place for Bfast in town, HANDS DOWN!
