Have a faucet that includes a water filter in the sprayer head. It was not working properly so American Standard sent a replacement. We unfortunately chose a "handyman" to install. He had no idea what he was doing. After he finished, we had no hot/cold water. When I mentioned it, he got angry and left.
Called American Standard and they thought I might need a new faucet. I called ABBCO and they were able to come day after the faucet arrived. I explained everything to Cody. He said, "I don't think you need a new faucet," and went to work. He discovered pieces of rubber in the line, removed water flow restrictors, bled the lines again and continued until water flow was like new. BUT, he didn't stop there. I asked about our toilet they had worked on before. He showed me how to fine tune the insides and what causes them to not operate properly. Then made sure the shut-off valve was working properly. Then he wanted to try and get a little more water pressure on the hot side and ended up bleeding a line going to the bathroom faucet. He got a lot of debris out of that faucet also. He did all of this in an hour.
Cody was friendly, understanding, and told me he wasn't leaving until my faucet was working properly.
Now I have an extra faucet in case we need it for parts in the future.
I also have to give a shout-out to American Standard as my Saybrook faucet has a lifetime warranty so the replacement faucet was free.
I wish I had called ABBCO originally. They charged a service call, then an hourly rate, and the job was done correctly. read more
