We rented a small (18-foot) ski boat for use on Echo Lake. The boat turned out to be a Yamaha jet…read moreboat, which was a new thing to me, though I've used jet skis before. The boat showed a little wear and tear, but was generally in good shape. Fun boat. Zippy. A jet boat is a good idea on Echo Lake, which has shallow spots. Shockwave hauls the boat to your preferred location, puts it in and takes it out. Easy for you. Our boat was put in on time and taken out on time. Staff was courteous. No problems. If I were going out on Flathead Lake, or if the water was choppy, I'd prefer something in at least the 20' range, but a lot of people like these little scooters.

I was in a pinch when I decided to rent some jet skis day of on a weekend!! I tried both places in…read moreWhitefish and they were both booked solid. I decided to widen my search to all of Flathead Valley and was a little disappointed when I had a message that said their machines were down and if I left a message they would get back to me... I left a message doubtful that anyone would ever get back to me. Less than 10 minuets later they returned my phone and confirmed they had 2 jetskis available. They also delivered to Whitefish at no extra cost!! 2 hours after we called them they had 2 2014 sparks in the water fueled up with extra gas (so you don't have to pay the $8 a gallon at the marina)!! It was a little more expensive than another place I called but they were unavailable and only had 8 hours instead of 10. Boy did we have fun! When we went to pay for fuel after (you pay the difference for the rentals and the tanks he brings) we were charged pump rates. Very exited for this new business in the Valley and I wish them all the best of luck! They also have an assortment of towables as options with the jetskis.

Whitefish Marine? More like Whitefish Dream-ine…read more If there were six stars, I'd give them seven. This place is so good it made me forget I'm a grown adult with bills, bad knees, and a questionable credit score. Mrs. Davis deserves her own talk show, she's that kind, that helpful, and somehow makes you feel like you're the most important person on the lake. And Jesse at the dock? The man parks boats smoother than I park a shopping cart. Honestly, if my life ever depends on precision, I'm calling Jesse before I call 911. The boats? Gorgeous. Like, "don't take me home, I live here now" gorgeous. The lake? Basically a giant mood booster served cold with a side of sunshine. And the views? Unreal. If your jaw doesn't drop, you should probably check your pulse. Navigation and info are laid out so clearly, even I couldn't screw it up, and trust me, if there's a wrong turn to make, I'll make it. Not here though. Here, it's smooth sailing (literally). I'll absolutely be back. Probably too often. Probably with way too much sunscreen. And definitely with that same goofy grin that says, "I just found my happy place."

I was very disappointed with my experience…read more I purchased a tube of marine epoxy that was clearly old. The contents were thick, gummed up, extremely difficult to squeeze out, and the epoxy never cured, making it completely unusable. When I brought it back, I was told they couldn't accept a return because the package had been opened. That's exactly the problem--there was no way to know the product was defective without opening it and attempting to use it. A defective product can't be identified while it's still sealed. What was most disappointing wasn't just the defective epoxy, but the response. No refund was offered, no exchange was offered, and there was no attempt to stand behind the product they sold. I understand stores need return policies, but those policies shouldn't be used to avoid responsibility for selling defective merchandise. I expected much better customer service from a local marine supplier. I always try to buy Local when I can and this Customer Service sent me to the Internet.

This is a review for the Many Glacier Boat Tour. What a great way to tour the lakes of Many Glacier…read moreand get a head start on your hikes if you choose to go one way. We had Jack take us across Swiftcurrent Lake on Chief Teo Guns, completed our quarter mile hike to the second dock, and had Aubrey take us across Lake Josephine. The rides were informative and provided a great opportunity to take pics from the lake and enjoy the scenery. We learned about the building of the hotel, the impact of fire on the forest, the glaciers, and the Beaver Lodge on Swiftcurrent Lake. It's a great way to take in Glacier from the water and I recommend this tour. If you're planning a trip to Glacier consider making your reservation early. I waited and got lucky that a last minute ticket opened but it was for the 5 pm tour. It was a little late for my family to start a hike so we stayed on the boat to take the return trip. Notes: 1. The hike between the two lakes is approximately 0.2 miles and the climb is around 50 feet. You could do this hike in sneakers but hiking shoes/boots would be ideal. 2. All bear spray must be stored in your bag.

Both were very knowledgeable and pointed out specific glaciers, told stories of the area. There is a 1/4 mile hike between the two lakes but pretty easy to navigate. I would highly recommend this tour and Jack and Aubrey were both great!
