What a fun day with our pup on the lake! These folks were so friendly and helpful beyond expectations. The boat was well maintained and there were ZERO complications. The price was very reasonable and departure from Bottle Bay started us right in the middle of where we wanted to be!

This place is owned by a nice lady named Martina. I just found it on the Internet thinking it was going to be close where we were staying. She responded quickly to my call and we communicated quite frequently with text as well. The weather was horrible the day we rented so she actually just allowed me to change the day of my rental by two days to accommodate a nicer day. The boat that we rented was a pontoon boat that was perfect for what we needed just a cruise around on the lake. We took our paddleboard and our fishing rods and lunch. The fellows that she has working for her Dylan, and Quinn gave us the rundown on the operation of the boat as well as some ideas on where we should go, considering the lake is so freaking huge. All in all it was a perfect day, thanks Martina! BTW at the end of the day we stopped at the loaf and ladle and had a beer afterwards, excellent!

Great family run business, supurb location. We have been renting from Day on the Lake for 8 years. Over that time we have rented 3 different pontoon boats, a ski boat and paddle boards. Service has been fantastic and all of the rentals of high quality, no issues. If you have not been to Bottle Bay, this would be a good reason to visit. We can't wait to return next year.

Review for the Lake History Cruise, 1-2:30pm on July 2, 2020. They also have other cruise options…read moresuch as the Birds of Prey Cruise (June-Sept.), Island & Eagle Watching Tour (Spring & Fall), Full Moon Dessert Cruise (June-Sept.) and Sunset Dessert & Eagle Watching Cruise. This was a nice cruise around Lake Pond Oreille & I learned a lot of history about the area. Linda was a great "first mate" and tour narrator. Kimberly did an excellent job as "second mate," providing many detailed maps and info sheets/pictures through out the cruise. Our captain (AJ was his name I think) was a good driver and didn't make anyone lose their lunch. Everyone was very attentive and always checking in to see if we needed anything. We learned about submarines used by the US Navy on this lake, ice age facts, geology and so much more! Booking online was smooth as was the check-in at the boat. Seating was plentiful and if you chose to sit on the top (open air, chilly 52 degrees) they offered you a blanket. There is a bathroom on board in case you have to go. They also serve snacks and drinks (soda, beer, wine, cocktails) and have apparel available for purchase as well. TIPS: - Arrive 15-20 minutes before the cruise is scheduled to depart and you'll have prime choice of seating (approx. 10-12 chairs) - Bring your camera (& binoculars if you have some) because we saw bald eagles and other beautiful sites. - If you're a tipper, you may tip online at the time of booking or bring cash to tip afterwards. - If you bring your kids, they can have a chance to sit in the captains chair and drive the boat (the little boy on our cruise even got his own captain certificate!). Lake History Cruise - Ticket Prices: Adult (Ages 13-59): $25 Child (Ages 3-12): $18 Toddler (Ages 2 and under): Free Senior (Ages 60+): $23 Thanks for the enjoyable cruise and for making us feel very welcome in Sandpoint. We'll definitely be recommending this to others who visit.
