Very personable owner. He had a good variety of vintage and affordable keepsakes with something for everyone.

The manager now Kyler, is inattentive to customers and is always talking on his phone through his earpiece. You think he's talking to you but no, generally ignores you while he's checking you out and continues to talk on his phone. Disrespectful to say the least. He's hardly ever there especially when there's an issue. Truly disappointed in this store. It used to be my favorite. They chase all their good employees away and treat them horribly. Kudos to the downfall of this store. Get it together.

I refuse to shop at Moab Dollar General. They've had some amazing employees and GMs, but, the…read moreemployee by the name of Lori is rude, abrasive and verbally abusive. On one occasion, I went to return a dog bed that had been in my possession for approximately 14 hours. The bed had not left my car in that period of time. My reason for returning it was because I only needed it for a few days, and was able to find a used bed for substantially less. With 6-7 customers in line behind me, she held it up in the air, and loudly announced, "This looks used." When I stated that it wasn't, she told me that it smelled, so I responded that if it smelled that it had to be something from the store, because it hadn't left my vehicle, and that my dog doesn't ride in my car. I was mortified. Until and unless she's no longer employed at Dollar General, I won't return . After all, why would I, when I can go a block down the street and be treated with kindness, respect and professionalism at Family Dollar?

We drove up to Moab, Utah today to see the flooding devastation. As usual I stop in at the Moab…read moreDollar Tree and load up on some of the items for my puppy packs that I give out when a puppy leaves my care. Of course I add a lot more items from Walmart, pet stores and handmade things. The male cashier is scanning my items, beep, beep, beep etc. Rand: "Hey you scanned to many tennis balls!" Cashier: "I know what I'm doing!" Cashier gets to water and food bowls. Beep, beep, beep!!!! Forever. I had 16 and I'm counting 30 beeps and telling him to stop. He ignores me and keeps on going. I pay for the items and get a second cart and go through my receipt right there in front of the store. I count everything three times just to make sure. Fourteen overrings on food bowls and six overrings on tennis balls. That is a $25.00 overcharge. I wait until the line disappears and tell the kid. Rand: "Hey there is a problem you have over scanned me by $25.00 dollars, I need a refund!" Cashier: "Hold on I need to call the manager up front!" I explain it to the manager. Manager: "I am sorry our store policy is no refunds!" Rand: "I'm sorry, but this is an overcharge and I am getting my money back!" Manager: "We don't give refunds sir it is our store policy, you can get $25.00 of items!" Rand: "No ma'am, I'm not paying for something I don't want because your cashier made a mistake!!!" Manager: "I'll have to call the District Manager and it is Sunday and I don't want to bother her!" Rand: "Give me her number I'll bother her!" Manager: "I'll call and ask her!" Manager calls in front of me and of course the district manager tells her to give me my overcharge money back! I tell both the cashier and manager to pay attention to what their jobs are and ask them if they would like it if they went to McDonald's and was overcharged $25.00 and McDonald's told them to order $25.00 more in food. This poor, poor generation can't count money back let alone scan items properly and we want to pay them $21.00 an hour to be a cashier? No thanks. Now in my kids defense who are 27 and 31 and know very well how to count money and are very good at their jobs it isn't all, but it is a lot.

They will seriously go out of their way to help you find anything you might desire. I went in looking for some pink flamingo solar lights. My partner and I purchased a large amount of flooring from LL Flooring at the end of September of…read more2021 to replace the flooring in our home. The order was over $7,000 and was based on measurements that one of LL's representatives did. The order was for a large amount of the copper barrel oak colored luxury vinyl plank. We used a different contractor for the installation, which took nearly a month to complete and he did not start immediately after we purchased the materials from LL Flooring. When our contractor started, he told us that we had far more materials than we needed and that the person who provided measurements must have measured incorrectly. This resulted in over unused 20 boxes of flooring and materials purchased for approximately $1,100. My partner contacted LL flooring about the surplus of material and was told that we would be able to return any flooring that was unused and made no mention about a return policy. We tried to return the 20 boxes of flooring in January and was told, for the very first time, that there was a 90 day return policy and that the most they could do was give us store credit. We were approximately one week beyond the 90 day return policy. When we got home, we checked our receipt and there was no mention of a 90 day return policy. I tried to contact LL Flooring via email to better explain our situation and was told that while LL Flooring COULD authorize a return after the 90 day policy, the most they would do for us is give us store credit. We were also told by a representative that the flooring itself was "basically bullet proof," and were then advised by our installation contractor that we should be careful moving any furniture on the new floors because of how easily they scratched. We conclude our experience with LL Flooring feeling very taken advantage of and lied to. We recommend you look elsewhere for flooring needs.
