NEW LOCATION REVIEW 198 E Center St, Moab, UT 84532…read moreWe have been touring the area and go to as many thrift stores on our route and happened upon this shop as it originally did not populate when we searched for thrift stores in town. Happy to have stumbled upon it on our last morning in town. This location is in its opening stages when we visited so there is very little signage and organization at this time. There is plenty of women's clothes to choose from and my SO found the small men's section very rewarding. Clothes appear to be priced based on type of article (short-sleeve, long-sleeve, pants, etc.). I found the pants selection to be nice, jackets and coats lacking for a winter town but also... it could be different next week! That's the fun of thrift stores, you don't know what you'll find or when.

I hadn't been to WabiSabi since they moved. The only thing I really shopped for there was clothing…read more At the former location, I could get a nice shirt for a dollar or two, and the prices on other items were just as good. At the new location, however, prices have increased substantially. There are no longer shirts available for a dollar or two, and everything else seems to be much more expensive. In addition, it was frustrating having to go through the shirts one by one to find the right size. Nothing was organized. That said, if you're looking for prices that are still lower than those at corporate retail stores, this may be the place for you. Personally, I'd rather pay a few more dollars and buy new shirts, pants, etc. I miss the old Wabisabi.

Usually, I go to Village Market for specific items. One of those items has been ice cream because…read morethe price was $4.99, considerably less than at City Market. Unfortunately, at some point in the past few weeks, the price of the ice cream I buy increased to $7.49. There may be a reasonable explanation for the $2.50 increase. However, the store provides no notice or certainly no explanation when an item's price rises that much in such a short period. In addition, the employees at the registers just stand there with blank looks on their faces unable to provide any information. I was certainly disappointed. Despite that disappointment, there are still reasons to recommend shopping there. If one is in a hurry to get in and out, Village Market isn't the rat race that City Market is. The store is exceptionally clean and free of obstacles in the aisles and open areas, unlike the clutter in that other store. The prices may be slightly higher, but the shopping experience can be much less anxiety-provoking than one would experience at the Kroger "family" store.

When I stumbled upon this place, I wasn't sure how much they would have here or if they would have Gluten Free options, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. They actually have a lot of food and different brands as well as a LOT of gluten free options. This was amazing, as a lot of small business groceries stores don't have a lot of gluten free options, but they certainly did! The prices were also reasonable. Not cheap, but not to expensive. Good store to shop for groceries in Moab, Utah!
