She said she had to charge me a surcharge on my debit card which is illegal as I just found out as of today. I never ever have had a business force an extra charge on me for my debit card and I wasn't the happiest when she told me but I didn't know any better and let her process it. If they tell you to process a surcharge on a debit card, they need to be corrected on the law. Lovely place but charging extra illegally is not something I support.

I immediately noticed the red Herman Miller sofa, bright woven rugs and hand-rubbed Danish MCM tables... South West handmade jewelry, military surplus, new old stock Carhartt & Levi's, broken-in leather boots, vintage wool and waxed canvas clothing, old Boy Scout hatchets, 70's stereo equipment, vintage vinyl, antique signage (not repro), and the list goes on and on. The thing about stores like this, is that in a year or even a few days the entire businesses' stock can be totally rotated out: snatched away by a collector and gone forever. This place is practically a museum and a snapshot in time of "how things used to be". The "stuff" in this store was built to last and is often one-of-a-kind.
