I had been searching for a certain small screw (apparently they are 4x 3/8 flat head wood screws) for my dresser that needed to be fixed and I couldn't find a place that carried them nearby. I went to Home Depot and other craft stores, to no avail. The location is in the industrial area of El Cajon, in a business plaza corner all the way in the back. It is easy to find though. I waited for a good 15-20 minutes... One of the guys said their Rush is between 11-1 pm. I was promptly assisted and the gentleman found the screws I needed. They weren't the EXACT same in girth, but they were the same length and threading. The guys working there are slightly awkward. I don't know if it was because I was a lady, but I raised my eyebrows quite a bit to their rhetoric. Aside from that and the wait I give this place 4 stars based on the fact that, like a guy who reviewed previously... This place has EVERY fastener you may need. This is your last resort for sure. Thumbs up.

They were very helpful in securing a odd-size M7 bolt that no other shop in town carried. Good selection and value.

Opened an account and they closed it because I wasn't buying enough. Good way to build a relationship.

Auntie tried to grow strawberries... Home Depot said "not today"…read more Let Auntie put you on real quick... If you're trying to grow your own food (because grocery prices are doing THE MOST), The Home Depot is a solid place to start--but keep your receipt, okay? Now listen... I grabbed strawberry roots (red & white) and a berry plant, fully committed to my "grow my own fruit" era. Bought compost, followed directions, even went to YouTube University like a good student Not gonna lie... Them plants said absolutely nothing back to me. No sprouts, no greens... just vibes and dry roots After 3 1/2 weeks, I realized I was out here watering ghosts. BABY... they sold me dead plants. But overall... Here's where they redeemed themselves--returns were EASY. No attitude, no hassle. I brought everything back (yes, I dug up every last root like a crime scene investigation ‍), showed my receipt, and got my full refund. They even reminded me I have 90 days if anything goes left. Pro tip: open a free business account so your receipts stay on file--thank me later for that one too. "Do yourself a favor and try it first... and you can thank me later "

CHRISTMAS TREE LOT REVIEW only…read more I had the pleasure of purchasing a tree with my family from the Tree Lot at Home Depot El Cajon. This review is going to be short just because it's a seasonal thing and people want to hurry and find a good spot for a tree... so here we go. The employees were pretty cheerful and were in good holiday spirits. Walking in your greeted with Christmas music and the fresh smell of pine trees ( my favorite ) your full average 6-8 foot tree is going to run anywhere from 60-100$ depending on the type of tree you want. Seems a lot but this is definitely the average place when going somewhere like this. They will trim the bottom of the tree and any part on the tree you may want removed. They have holiday plants and this year my daughter was in love with the FREE little Charlie Brown trees haha cutest things ever. They have any accessories you may need for the tree and even some holiday decorations. Thank You Home Depot Tree Lot of El Cajon
