"The ones that work."…read more That pretty much sums up my experience at Midtown Appliance. I am new(ish) to the area and was in need of a washer and dryer set for my new home. Price inflation and chip shortages made me fear that I was in for yet another headache in shopping for major appliances. I didn't need a gleaming new appliance set, just something simple and reliable, ideally name brand, that wouldn't break the piggy bank. Well, that's what I got. Dad and I just hooked up both units and they work just fine (after swapping out a rubber washer on one of the hookup hoses). Consider this: All the chips, sensors and computerized stuff has made appliances both more expensive and more complicated to repair. Midtown Appliance seems to have more of the older, mechanical models and doesn't mess with the touchy, wonky technology. It makes sense.

Absolutely terrible business. They are friendly and professional only until they get your money. I…read morepurchased a washer and dryer from them, and the dryer has not worked properly since day one. I was told I had a 30-day warranty and that they would either repair or replace the dryer, yet they continuously failed to show up and kept giving excuse after excuse. I had to repeatedly call, stop by in person, and practically beg for assistance, only to be met with rude behavior and blame-shifting. Instead of taking responsibility for selling a faulty appliance, they tried claiming the issue was somehow my house, despite there being no clogs or problems with my setup at all. This business clearly does not stand behind the products they sell or the promises they make. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and wasted money. Take your hard-earned money somewhere else and deal with a company that actually values its customers.

Man I hate Mondays.... but Tina made mine better!…read more This weekend I ordered siding, concrete and some small items from the Pro Desk in Longview. I got overcharged a little and noticed it after we'd left. I figured it was a simple mistake and, after talking to Tina, I found that there are 2 SKUs on cut merchandise. The guy scanned the wrong one. I had a pic of the "Cut Merchandise Ticket" showing the length and the ticket with the charge. She said I could come in and get the refund. I told her it was difficult to say when since I'm an hour away. After some magic she got me fixed up. $25 isn't a lot in the total, but every penny counts! What I didn't tell her is that I am a 100% disabled Veteran and it is a chore to get a ride coordinated. That played no part in this conversation, although HD is very Veteran friendly, unlike some other big box stores who took away our discounts. She fixed it because it was a customer issue, simple mistake, I had a picture of everything, etc. This is great customer support and service. It is primarily for the customer support and dependability that I do business an hour away instead of 20-25 minutes at an unreliable store who doesn't care how you're treated. As a note, if you have an issue but have not provided HD an opportunity to fix it, you should do better. Everyone makes mistakes, so give them a chance to fix it. Just my 2 cents. worth less due to inflation.

Mathew and Greg at the front register were ridiculously unhelpful and clueless with simple…read morequestions. They wasted my time - they didn't know what the hell they were doing or saying. Mathew seemed proud of his inane remark that they wouldn't be able to deliver anything without an address; he was utterly ignorant of why a customer might want to know what additional costs would be charged before handing over their personal information, and refused to give details on/an estimate of delivery and installation charges. In addition, no one ever came to help me in the appliance section though I waited for some time. Many staff members walked by without making eye contact, while joking with their coworkers.

I received the watch face as described but the band is not the band that was pictured. This band has an American flag on it and USA on the other side. This is clearly false advertisement. I paid for an item that is incomplete. I will be reaching out to the BBB for further assistance. This store is three hours from my residence. FYI. Don't buy any open box items from this store. I've had several failed attempts today trying to reach the store director. Photos to follow. What I purchased verses What I received. I paid over $700 for a watch that I cannot use. I don't recommend this store to anyone.
