Recently, a power surge knocked out the center console on our oven. The burners worked, but not the oven controls and clock. I called Master Appliance to see about scheduling a repair, and was greeted on the phone by Matt, who, hearing my description, confirmed that I had indeed blown the center control console. Then, he told me that it would be much cheaper to fix it myself, and save money on the service and labor. He walked me through the process of ordering the part from Amazon, and where I could find tutorials online to guide me through the repair procedure. The oven works now, I've saved some coin, and I now have the sense of accomplishment at having done my own repair! Thank you, Matt and the team at Master Appliance for being conscientious enough to help me even if it cost you some profit! I hope all of Smyrna reads this review and remembers you guys when it's time to do some appliance business!

On the day prior to our scheduled appointment, we typically received a text msg indicating our technician's name and approximate arrival time. The experiences were generally pleasant, decently professional, and effective, as both appliances continue to operate without issue. On both occasions, our service involved the technician needing to order a necessary part and then return 1-1.5 weeks later. On one occasion, we were waiting to hear back once they received an ordered part. After a couple of weeks, I reached out to ask for an update and discovered the part was mistakenly never ordered. The individual responsible for ordering parts was apparently on vacation, and the employee covering this responsibility was very apologetic and I believe they ended up putting a rush on the order.

Unfortunately, this is the preferred vendor for our warranty company. They've come out three times and the fridge stills leaks, they also show up late when they do arrive. We've told them it was still leaking, but we were told we needed to go through our warranty company to set up another appointment, ugh. I'm a little apprehensive of calling our warranty again paying another $100 to still have a leaky fridge. I'd look elsewhere for appliance repairs.
