Within about 15 minutes, Javier, the owner, was at my home to check out the problem. He quickly determined that the faucet had developed an internal leak and needed to be replaced. I purchased a new faucet and called Javier back this morning to let him know I had it. Within about 30 minutes, two of his workers arrived to install it. They were professional, efficient, careful with their work, and did an excellent job. The new faucet was installed properly, everything was cleaned up, and the problem is completely solved. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a company that responds this quickly, communicates well, shows up when promised, and provides quality workmanship. J C Plumbing did all of that. The actual part is $127 to $203 online. So $677 dollars for the less than 30 minutes it took them to install the part. The estimate was not itemized. It's not OKto do this to a nearly 80 year old woman. Be very afraid. I just received a completed invoice in my email. The 800 dollars was upped to 885 dollars. I was told that if Iused my ATM card there would be no upcharge. The employees are not union but Jerry's is charging as if they were. The technicians who came out were great.
