M&M quoted us approximately $2,500 to replace multiple boards and service the refrigerator. They also told us there would be essentially no warranty on the electronics other than a short company warranty. After getting a second opinion from another appliance repair company, we were told that only one board appeared to need replacement, with an estimated cost of about $847 plus labor, which was far more reasonable. What was especially concerning was that the second technician noted that one of the original boards had apparently been removed from our refrigerator without that being clearly communicated to us beforehand. Based on our experience, the original diagnosis and pricing from M&M seemed excessive and not transparent. I would strongly encourage anyone with a higher-end appliance, especially a built-in refrigerator, to get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive repairs.

What she failed to tell me was that this store does not have the authority to return Microsoft subscribed products? Ridiculous.
