It's a shame because I live my Volvo and would probably want to but another one when it's time to trade this one in - but the service department is so bad that I probably will not purchase a Volvo again just because driving to Austin for service is not very convenient. I am filing this review because I believe Mac Haik has failed to stand behind the vehicle they sold…read moreme and has provided little assistance in resolving ongoing mechanical issues despite my purchase of an extended warranty. I purchased a 2013 Toyota Camry on November 28, 2025. Since then, I have experienced multiple repairs, unexpected expenses, and extended periods without my vehicle. On February 23, 2026, the battery and ABS warning lights came on, the steering became difficult to operate, and the vehicle had to be towed to the dealership. Mac Haik diagnosed a failed alternator and belt. Even with an extended warranty, I paid $318.33 out of pocket. On May 12, 2026, I returned because the A/C was not blowing cold air while idling. The dealership found the system low on refrigerant, replaced a leaking Schrader valve, recharged the system, and later determined the flow sensor in the A/C compressor was not actuating properly. I paid another $343.68 for this repair. Unfortunately, the A/C issue was not resolved. I have since been told that additional repairs are needed, but those repairs are not covered under my extended warranty. I now am expected to pay more than $200 out of pocket. My vehicle has also been at the dealership since June 3, 2026, for over a month. During that time, I contacted both the service and sales departments for assistance with a loaner vehicle, but neither was even pretended to help with that request. I expected more support resolving these concerns. I have lost confidence in both the dealership and the value of the warranty I purchased.

Don Ringler has some of the best staff I've seen at a dealership. The salesman didn't act like me buying the car or not depended on if he got to pay rent for another month. I didn't feel pressured at all. Also James in finance is awesome. He didn't pressure for the warranty and was respectful too. I love my used Mazda CX-5 and got it for a great price.

Both times my vehicle was returned to me filthy. 1st time the inside had smudges on the interior driver door and the exterior was filthy from sitting out in the elements. 2nd time the exterior was filthy because it rained 3 days before pick up. Repairs and oil changes are suppose to receive complimentary car washes. I think the advisors should automatically mention it on intake. Exceptional service is hard to come by these days.
