I heard something else in my attic they came with a drone found the whole immediately on the other side of the house and promptly fixed it. I couldn't be more thrilled at how quickly they responded to my small job versus the big jobs that they're used to getting. I appreciate that they took my nervousness about having these creatures in my attic. Seriously I thanked them 100 times.

In every step of the process, Nassau Roofers were extremely professional. No drama. No scare tactics. And their price was very fair. Spencer showed up to do the estimate. He explained everything very clearly. Straight forward and professional. Nelson and team showed up early 3 days later and finished the job quickly and cleaned up well. Part of the roof was covered in snow and these guys efficiently cleared everything away and even shared pictures and video afterwards. Megan and Brian are 2nd generation owners taking over from their father. The company has been around for 48 years. The work comes with a 12 year guarantee. I wish I had heard of John Goess Roofing and met with Marcos first. It would have saved me a lot of frustration and wasted time. He was the last one I met with, and I knew immediately he was who I wanted to work with. My instincts were right. Our roof was replaced 2 days ago, and I couldn't be happier. I hesitate to recommend contractors, not everyone will have the same experience, but I have zero reservations with recommending this company. I even offered my phone number to Marcos if anyone wants to speak to a recent customer. Yes, that helps the company, but I'm just trying to pay it forward. It was all the amazing reviews others left online that made me call Marcos in the first place. So thank you to everyone who took the time. Over the course my year-long search, I did a deep dive on how a roof is supposed to be done. Marcos took pictures during the replacement and I'd be happy to share them so you can see the quality of their work. And price-wise, they were not the lowest and nowhere near the highest, but I definitely feel I got the best quality for my money. John Goess Roofing is a topnotch professional company. Thank you, Marcos!

Family Run Business that Treats You Like Family…read more It is rare to find a company that combines multi-generational expertise with genuine care, but John Goess Roofing does exactly that. Marcos, his sons Marcos Jr. and Brian, his brother Rodrigo and the entire team truly treat you like family rather than just another customer. They performed a flawless one-day roof replacement using the best materials and workmanship, even going so far as to chase away a pesky raccoon in my attic and repair my crumbling chimney at no extra charge. Every detail was handled with "old-fashioned" care, including their signature hand-nailing technique and an immaculate cleanup that left the site spotless with not a single nail found. As a GAF Master Elite contractor with over 45 years of experience in Nassau and Suffolk, they provided a lifetime GAF Golden Pledge Limited Warranty covering materials and their professional workmanship. The entire process was seamless, professional, and reliable. From the lead foreman, Marcos, to the office staff, the communication was excellent, and the work was performed by a fully licensed, bonded, and insured team. Their A+ BBB rating and long history of Super Service Awards are well-deserved for such exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to excellence. Bottom line: I was thrilled with John Goess Roofing's work and friendly attitude. Whether you need a roof repair or entire replacement, I feel that you could not find a better contractor. They are indeed a family-run business who treats you like a member of their family!

Since the building is both commercial and residiential, one of the biggest concerns was minimizing disruption to tenants, and of course keeping everything on budget and organized. From the start, Royal Renovators seemed to understand these concerns and put together a plan that worked around the building's daily operations. The existing roof was removed, damaged areas were addressed/fized, and a new roofing system was installed along with snazzy updated flashing and drainage improvements. Communication throughout the project was - chefs kiss - and we always knew what stage things were in. As expected, there were additional conditions unconvered that needed to be addressed. But, these guys were transparent about it, laid out the options like they did before, and it didnt turn into pressure or surprises. What stood out was how transparent they were when additional conditions were uncovered. Every decision was discussed beforehand and documented with photos. In the end, the new roof was completed on time, and is performing exactly as expected.

After Royal Renovators performed a quite thorough inspection, it became clear that the issue wasn't limited to one area. The project ultimately included roofing repairs, flashing replacement, waterproofing around the parapet walls, and some exterior restoration work where years of weather exposure had taken a toll. What impressed me most was how methodical and easy the whole process felt. Sean and his crew were punctual, respectful of the property, and kept the site remarkably organized considering the amount of work being done. There were no surprise upcharges or pushiness, just great work at a great price. The house has been through the ringer with the weather, but can happily report no signs of moisture. It's a relief knowing the work was done correctly instead of simply covering up symptoms.

He was very responsive. He patiently addressed all our questions and concerns (and we had a lot of questions) prior to starting, during and even after the process. We liked how the quote was very detailed for what would be done. Brian worked with us on setting up all the logistics prior to starting and on the day of the team was on time and efficiently removed and installed the new roof and skylights. Brian came to make sure things were moving along fine. The gutter team had to be scheduled for another day due to the weather but they arrived on time and had everything done within the day. The roof looked wavy at first but after the shingles settled in it looks great! Our attic fan had a few drops get in from rain. Brian had someone come in the next day to take a look and address the situation and it was promptly fixed. Communication was a huge plus for us, we would definitely recommend All Weather Guards.

Our building contains a shared commercial kitchen used by several small food businesses. Closing…read morethe entire operation for a roof replacement was not realistic, but neither was continuing to repair leaks near the preparation and storage areas. The old flat roof had numerous patches around exhaust curbs, refrigeration lines, and plumbing vents. It had also been coated more than once, which made it difficult to see what was happening underneath. We received proposals for additional repairs, a restoration coating, and complete replacement. Moisture testing and roof openings showed that a substantial amount of insulation was already wet, particularly around two exhaust curbs and the rear drain. A coating might have improved the surface, but it would not have removed the trapped moisture. That explanation was the reason we chose replacement. Financing was arranged through a third-party lender, with approval and payment terms determined by that lender. The monthly-payment option allowed us to complete the entire roof instead of dividing the work into separate repair phases. Everything about the lending arrangement was documented separately from the construction agreement. Because the kitchen remained occupied, the replacement was divided into controlled sections. Exhaust shutdowns were scheduled between production periods, temporary coverings were installed below sensitive areas, and the loudest demolition was completed early in the day. After tear-off, deteriorated decking was found beside one curb where years of condensation and leakage had affected the substrate. We received photographs and measurements before authorizing that additional work. The new assembly included tapered polyiso insulation, a high-density cover board, PVC membrane, new curb flashing, and walk pads along the equipment-service routes. The PVC system was selected in part because of the amount of grease-producing exhaust equipment on the roof. A scheduled membrane delivery arrived a day late, and the update about it could have come sooner, but the open sections had already been secured and no interior areas were affected. At completion, the drains and seams were checked, debris was removed from the rear service area, and we received a roof plan identifying the equipment and warranty boundaries. Production continued during almost the entire project. More importantly, several intense storms have passed without a single drip in the kitchen or storage space.

A small diesel spill from our rooftop emergency generator damaged the EPDM membrane beneath the…read moreequipment. The affected rubber softened and began swelling before any interior leak appeared. This was treated as both a contamination issue and a roofing repair. The generator technician stopped the source, and a qualified cleanup company handled the fuel and contaminated materials. Roofing work began only after the area was cleared. The damaged membrane and insulation were removed to clean, unaffected boundaries. The deck did not require replacement. New insulation and compatible EPDM membrane restored the area, while a protective equipment pad and containment arrangement were added around the generator under the appropriate service scopes. The exact repaired zone was marked in the roof records. A residual odor remained near the hatch for several days, although no fuel entered the occupied rooms. We kept the access area ventilated until it cleared. Disposal documentation took longer to receive than the roof photographs. The repair remains dry, and later generator testing produced no additional spill. Correcting the equipment source before closing the roof prevented the same damage from repeating.
